It seemed like a pretty open snd shut case, she followed when told not to, did what she did and is guilty. But this lawyer has me invested with her opening statement, she is doing a great job of laying out the scene.

Another case of a coward with a gun. She was told repeatedly to NOT follow him. She had her gun so she felt brave and continued to chase this man. Once she caught up to him, knowing she had a gun, she physically confronted a man that was in distress and shot him. Look at her now…looking like the coward that she is…crying for mercy. I remember a year ago I was home and I happened to be standing by my window and saw this a driver driving a little reckless and stopped almost in the middle of the road. I watched him act erratically and I was concerned for him and other road users cos I thought he was under the influence so I called emergency. Most drivers drove past hurling insults but none bothered to stop and checked; perhaps they thought he was drunk too. Eventually the police came and they tried talking to him calmly but he wasn’t budging so they dragged him out of the vehicle onto the ground, held his hand back to handcuff him and he was screaming and acting really strange. Long and short, it turned out the man was diabetic and was having some sort of episode. The ambulance came and they gave him some insulin and attended to him . They apologised profusely to him for the manhandling. At some point,I was scared they were going to shoot him. I didn’t realise how serious diabetes was until that day. Had this young woman left the issue to the police instead of taking matters into her own hands, the man wouldn’t have died and her life basically ruined.

Narcissists like to use their cars as weapons they are also always right. They also never will accept responsibility when they are in the wrong. Even when caught in the middle of a crime in front of eye witnesses. It's always someone else's fault. I learned this fact from my father who was a narcissist. He loved to tail people and drive like a maniac. On the way to my wedding he almost killed me and my mother going 80 miles an hour in a 55 mph zone. Stressed out for no reason. Insane.

IfI had said or done something that set him off (like existing) he wouldn't stop until I was crying and begging him to please let me out of the car.
I look back at it now, a few years older, a lot wiser, in a healthy marriage with someone who respects me and wonder, "Why did I tolerate that?", like the woman I was when I was with him is a stranger and I feel bad for her but it doesn't feel like it was me. He had issues starting the truck at the original accident and after driving it in that condition he would have had even more issues restarting it if he had turned it off. She said he just mashed the gas. It makes since that the only reason that the truck wasn't moving was because he had his foot on the break and when Hannah Payne approached him and started fighting with him causing his foot to come off the break causing the truck to moved forward a few feet.

It may not have worked but advising your client to go to trial on a case that has so much evidence and witness testimony stacked up against them is negligent. It's up to the client if they want to proceed to trial but after I would have finished explaining to her that she was absolutely going to prison, she was absolutely going to be convicted, she was absolutely going to do the maximum, I think she'd have probably taken the deal.
