And NOT overcook them!! They cook FAST and if you overcook them even a little they start turning into rubber! But you’re right, the back strap is AWESOME! We used to use a pair of tin snips to cut the skin and scales along the back and then remove both back straps. 99% of people have no clue how good they are or don’t want to go thru the effort of cleaning them. If you do it the way I said and just focus on removing the back strap and not trying to clean them like a normal fish, it’s quite easy. Especially after you do one or two.
Stingray is good too. Redneck scallops. You skin and remove the wings and use a small cookie cutter and punch out “scallops”. Cooked the same and tastes the same as scallops. In fact most scallops you buy in the grocery store IS stingray. Usually labeled “Deep Seas Scallops”. If you buy scallops that are larger than the size of a quarter, it’s stingray.
Terrible. you miss and you get charged. You want OVERWHELMING, VASTLY SUPERIOR equipment to get the job done. You want every possible advantage you can get.
@@380master9 PCP rifle in general is more expensive than a real firearm. Unless you cant get a real firearm (like certain countries where firearm are not allowed but PCP rifle are allowed without energy limit), semi auto PCP is the most viable solution like S45 which shoots about 300's fpe but that thing cost about $2000. Also the other downside is, assuming the attacker has a firearm not a melee weapon, if the attacker shoots your PCP rifle's tank it might injure you and the attacker itself cuz you're talking about 2000 PSI at minimum right here. So PCP rifle and any other types of air rifle is still just a good things for sport not self defense.
so long as the reel-to-bottle connection does not put strain on the neck of the air bottle - a leak or crack could be absolutely spectacular...just sayin
Just throw some m-80s in the water it will stun the fish and bring them to the surface so you can collect them to feed your family that's why you're doing this right?
As a former Native Floridian, now a Tennessee resident, I’ve always known Florida’s bow fishing laws to be only for NON game fish species. As in carp, gar, catfish, etc. Aren’t Sheepshead considered a saltwater gamefish species?? Unless the laws changed in the 5 years I’ve been gone or I’m incorrect. But if so, you guys just filmed yourselves commuting a crime. Possibly a felony knowing how Florida is with their game laws. Unless this is considered “spear fishing” then you CAN take gamefish. But I thought you had to be swimming and IN the water for it to be spear fishing.
@@johnnyparatrooper1326 maybe. But doubt a TH-camrs filming is “commercial” fishing. 😂There are weird saltwater vs freshwater laws and river mouths have a lot of crossover because you can catch both. If you ONLY have a freshwater license and you’re bass fishing and catch salt water species like a snook, redfish, spotted trout, etc. you HAVE to release them and vice versa. It gets confusing and most locals just buy ALL the licenses in a discounted “bundle pack”. The Florida Sportsman pack or something like that, but it’s all the hunting and fishing licenses. Even if they don’t hunt.
Had a great time with you guys 🤜🤛

Nice change of pace. I enjoyed, thanks guys.
Glad to see a fishing video. I remember you talking about adding more fishing content to the channel and I’m all for it. Keep up the great work!

Hey, did you ever get a chance to get jaws? PS do not forget the buoy
Those gar are tasty if you manage to clean them👍

is it difficult to judge the shot with the depth of the water mirage ?
Really would like to see you harpoon a bull shark or any shark with that.
what kind of fish is that that looks like needle nose pliers? and did the stingray weigh a lot?

What you think about that for home defense?

@@nukiesduke6868 okay so is there any air rifle you would think is suitable for home defense? Or pistol?

Ray Scallops are delicious!!!
Does that airbow work underwater! You know like a rubber band spear!!!!?

You should try watching videos from filipino airgunners, some using diy pvc guns,, it's called tiksay fish hunting
It’s fun till you have to hand pump air back into the cylinder. My fax wildcat is a workout to fill. Need a compressor bad

Do you have a twin brother? Guys look up carwizard, theyre almost exactly the same

Isn't this just a spear gun?
Air power spear gun 😎
It's just that yes.
I believe they are usually spring or tension band operated
No not at all you can’t kill a deer at 100 yards with a spear gun bud
@@kevinbalogh356 It's not a bow though.
Have you ever seen a bow?
Where did you guys steal this music from Fletch?

They doing it for fun.. gar and stingray suck to eat… in my opinion anyways

There might be considerations in the law for Commercial operations.

Eric's a fud
unless ya'll plan on cooking and eating them... that is very poor form
That would be if that was the case. I don't know how someone would come up with the idea they weren't going to eat those fish though :)
