Awesome job guys! Please keep posting more vids on airstream fixes. I have that same model I'm fixing up too and could learn a ton from you guys! Thanks
just be careful a paitnless dent repair kit are cheap, but on that thin skin on the airstreams you can over pull, that looks worse than a dent, hope to have more airstream stuff when I get the jeepster done
Great work guys. At least you're trying! Doesn't seem like anyone is willing to do this, even professionals that I've contacted about removing my dents. Looks like I'll just do it myself from an Amazon kit.
Cool Video i hope you guys keep sharing the tricks you have learned along the way I am a East Coast guy and I'm thinking you are out West ? The significance of this is many times Fads or trends get going on the East Coast years after they were big out there i know because ive owned my own Airstream that restoring and tricking out. The older Airstreams and Campers was a hot thing with many of the Movie Stars and Celebrities. And its kind of just becoming a thing here. In the last few years ! So i really do hope to see more of DIY repairs and Restomods ive owned new production line Trailers and have lots of freinds that had them as well and i always laughed because my old Airstreams. Never had roof leaks. And generally all the factory items still worked as they were intended to with minor repairs and normal maintenance another funny thing was The older units always attracted more people that had questions and asked for a tour i enjoyed using one i bought that was in good shape but was dated by its decor i did a deep cleaning and a safety check and we enjoyed many Camping outings in it
at the time I just bought a cheap kit off of Amazon, I still have it but I 3D print the pucks now, I have learned I would rather have the puck break than to over pull on a dent.
Way to go guys! Thanks for this video. I'm rebuilding a 92 Excella and I also have a few dents. Most of mine are minor. I'm doing a shell off so I've pulled the interior skins an have been wondering the best way to approach this dent removal business since pretty much all of this metal work is a first time around experience for me. :) Any additional tips? Where did you get your PDR kit and body tools?
You do know that they make a plastic spreader/scraper that takes that glue off super easy, right...? It should have come with the paintless dent removal kit.

Wow thanks, that's super interesting! Didn't know it was as "easy" as this. Probably easy with the right tools and experience :)

@@NicholasMavrikBrandtWell I don't have an airstream, but it's still surprising and amazing to see how to repair such things.

I know it's been a while but can you tell me what kit you used for dent pulling? I had a limb fall on my Avion.
Nice job guys. Anyway you could post the link for the dent-kit you have?

Is there some other way to remove the glue other than your finger nails?
