Pathetic line of questioning by interviewer.
    Obvious attempt of character assassinating.
Well done Jeremy for professionally handling this pathetic smearing attempt.

What a sham of an interview, clearly with the intention to put words into his mouth & ascribe intention to action which occurred either outside of his knowledge or after he spoke to them.
Hindsight is 20/20 & as a man who works for peace his honorable work against all racism should not be squandered based on the fact he speaks to people to work for peace.
He is clearly not a racist, neither does he consort with holocaust deniers.

the burden of proof rests on those making the claim. most so called deniers simply ask for the burden of proof to be satisfied by those making the claim. when the claim was recently tested in a court they ruled that evidence is not required in this case making it non evidence based.

Can you imagine what Corbyn's supporters would say if Liz Kendall had donated to a holocaust denier's organisation?
This is what a leadership campaign should be about - examining the past and question candidates about it so they're better prepared and the country is better informed in the event that they will one day become PM.
Corbyn lied in this interview - he knew Salah had used the blood libel in 2007 and still invited and met with him.

Well done to Cathy Newman for grilling this piece of shit. And to The Independent too. From their article:
"He insisted that Eisen was not a Holocaust denier when he met him 15 years ago, telling Newman: "Had he been a Holocaust denier, I would have had absolutely nothing to do with him. I was moved by the plight of people who had lost their village in Deir Yassin.”
Corbyn said he was unaware Salah had been convicted of racial incitement when he met him. The interview, which was broadcast on Monday evening, quickly sparked a backlash against Newman, with many accusing her of trying to smear him."

He didn't answer the question by KGM about Hamas clearly, he deflected. He claimed that he was only referring to Hamas as "friends" as a fraternal courtesy. In that case, why did he praise their "dedication to social justice", to quote? I'm sure the Palestinian LGBT community would be thrilled to hear it.
He dishonestly claimed that he is a sainted peacemaker, and this is about talking to people with whom you disagree. But he doesn't disagree with Hamas, he completely agrees with them. Talking to the other side might involve Corbyn speaking to Israelis, but he never does. In fact, he demanded that Tzipi Livni be arrested if she travels to Britain
    He is a bigoted hypocrite.

Credit to Corbyn - once again he delivers a genuine response under scrutiny. Don't think the journo was being quite as harsh as is being made out, no more so than when dealing with other politicians. I saw Krishnan Guru-Murthy laying into Burnham the other day. They're a bit harsh, but as journo's they're supposed to provoke. I think what's more worrying for Corbyn is the people supporting him, laying into opposition Labour candidates and Tories in a way which is a bit too personal. All that's doing is fanning the flames of right-wingers and suggesting that us 'loony-lefties' are really only good at fighting each other!

Don't you think the public want you to grill this guy properly on something that will actually help us understand what he is about? In your world a marxist, almost hippy peace campaigner type...could be an antisemite becuase he helped fund some memorial thing that was run by an antisemite?....You knew how unlikely that is, and yet you asked these questions because you think folk will say "Ooooh did you see that c4 interview with Corbyn?".
