Absolutely love this. Perfect masterpiece. It exactly carries that "darker, different" tone that the D-Sides and the Too Slow D-Side mix had, especially with those backing instruments! Love the use of Zepheniah's (Mighty.zip) motifs from his Too Slow song and a slightly louder and more dread-inducing voice for his Armakillo/Phase 3 form! Fang the Sniper is done expertly, it literally sounds like what he would sound like if he could speak in the modern games! Australian with a hint of Knuckles Chaotix instrumentals! And Maria is cool! The Live and Learn motif literally made me sing at the top of my lungs! XD And the pitch change at the end there really upped the ante and help bring it to a close! A few tiny edits/nitpicks I would make is that I didn't feel the "transition/drop" during X-Ray's part when he sang like from Tails' part into Chemical Plant Zone in the original Triple Trouble. I think it may have more impact if done like that a bit. The audio is a tiny bit loud at points, which seems to distort it for some reason (or was that intentional?) I like Maria's laugh well enough, but I kinda expected it to sound more like Taki from FNF Fever. She kind of sounds more like Monika or Yuri's "silent laugh" from the DDLC mod. Maria's supposed the mad scientist replacment for Eggman after all. And she'll probably be just as crazy as him in this D-Side universe. Or she might just be a "silent psycho" type of character, in which case, the laugh works then. All in all, I still absolutely love this! It seriously sounds like it truly DESERVES to be featured in the D-Side mod! I would love to see it ingame! The original Triple Trouble was an awesome fight and was quick-paced and cool, but this one has more a "defeated dread" type of feeling. Like you've already lost and Armakillo is just toying and taunting with you with the victims he's gathered... Hope to see this the attention it deserves! Hopefully it gets featured (even as it's own Freeplay song) in the official D-Side or maybe becomes the official final product!

I like to think that instead of crystals, Zephaniah would have rock or stone like textures forming on him cause stones, rocks, anything like those materials are strong and can be used in combat. So having Zephaniah have this Stonification transformation would fit the character in my opinion due to his original counterpart being one of the strongest.
I've had the same idea but it was based of Lava Rief Zone. You see, Xenophanes's crystal form reminded me of crystals in Lava Rief Act 2. So it would be nice to have rocks and stones from Act 1 for Zepheniah's final form design.
I can definitely see why the devs and composers for D-Sides loved this version. It captures the essence of the D-Side covers excellently. I could easily assume it was fully official if it wasn't stated otherwise.

As I much as love this, I think Maria should be replaced with Metal Sonic. Maria and Mighty have never interacted and she has no relation to the characters in here. Metal Sonic was the final boss of Knuckles’ Chaotix and a major antagonist in Sonic Mania Adventures, where him and Mighty fought twice. Plus, Metal has been in almost all forms of Sonic media, both classic and modern. He’s way better for this mix than Maria. Still, this is really good.
The reason why Maria and Mighty have never interacted is because Maria isn't even a real Sonic character She's a joke made by someone who noticed Eggman's upside down sprite in one of the Sonic Mania boss' looked like a woman I can only assume that's why she was picked to replace Egghead, she literally is Eggman in a game where Mighty and Ray made their surprise temporary comeback
Nevermind, I'm just blind I guess no-one would think to use her, keeps the remix unique I personally would locd to see Metal Knuckles instead While them and Mighty have never met, it fits with the Chaotix theme and is also really obscure

Idea chaotics and wecnia in d sides are replaced by metal knuckles and plant monster metal knuckles and the song starts as a fast pace song with sharp notes but as the song goes on it slows into a somber tone with the burning angle island as the plant monster metal knuckles slowly wilts and the song ends with his last suppressing hums
