And, this my dears is the reason that the CEOs, shareholders, etc., yell and scream when there's any hint of talk regarding the minimum wage being raised to where it rightly should be in 2023 (a living wage), and the landlords/property owners charge you $3,000 and UP for a studio (which you need to share with a roommate).
Because this is the way they and their adult offspring are living.😮

It is a large enough but small enough space that creates a warm & cozy feeling. I know that a lot of that feeling/environment is because of the furnishings too but those views and those windows... (sigh) just peaceful... I LOVED THAT LIBRARY/OFFICE ROOM!!! There are many interior design ideas to take from this clip! But... no ma'am, no sir, I would never rent a space like this for $16K/month. Love that hanging egg chair. & the 2nd bedroom-office-whatever with the bookshelves & library ladder. Some neurosurgeons and cardiologists at my university make a million+ a year. I don't know if they have football in NYC, but I'm pretty sure our Big Ten coach makes over a million. So, you'd have to be doing well, but not as well as you might think. Big firm lawyers and stockbrokers could also afford it.

New York is soon , if not already , strictly the élite and super rich and a sad pipe dream for most of your viewers. Of course that is just my opinion I understand. The only reason I am drawn to your channel is your great presentation and fun thoughts on the places you share with us and all the great ideas you are giving free lancers that want to create their own homes .

I think NYC as always been the land of 2 worlds when it comes to housing... there has long been TONS of very expensive real estate in NYC... we were simply never allowed to see inside as easily before. There are some "affordable" rentals in NYC too just not this grand... Cash has showcased many in the past. This is an extreme place and I doubt the next renter will have found it off of YouTub.... LoL

@@oyvey764 I hear you. I just picked up on Cash channel this past year. I have yet to see one that was available for the middle class renters sept 2 and they are match boxes. Never lived in NYC so I am no expert ,just going by Cash videos. Maybe he needs to get back to what is affordable? Given the times of the days we are under now? . Thank you for your comment to mine. It is great to have all ideas on the table.

you need to earn $30K/month to spend on $16K/month on rent alone. Thats like all residents have to earn at least $500K a year. If you earn 500K a year you can get your own place and pay mortgage.

Actually, not in this case -- the owner of the apartment covers the maintenance (common charges and taxes) and the tenant "only" pay the rent. Which I recognize is significant, but bear in mind this apartment is worth around $3,000,000!
