Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero 1/48 Eduard Heavy Retro

- Eduard has created a new edition called "Heavy Retro". As the name suggests, it is targeted for experienced modelers. The base is made of parts of the old model produced by the technology of short-run and polyurethane parts, supplemented by new photo-etch parts and decals. The first one to be released is the Italian Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero torpedo bomber. The model was released in the 90s under the Classic Airframe and Flashback brands.
WOW! There's something about these old Italian trimotors that brings the truly great modelers out of their keeps to put on one hell of a show about how it's really done by the supurb craftsmen out there. Great work is mesmerizing and this is some of the best I've seen on TH-cam. Thank you sir! My mojo is recharged.

Nádherná práce. Nevím proč ale Sparviero je pro mě taková modelářská srdcovka z dětství :) Při navlékání těch "lanek" se mi úplně kroutily prsty u nohou, jak jsem hypnotizoval obrazovku a nesmyslně jsem se soustředil aby se to "navléknutí" podařilo 😀

Omg, I remember the _relative_ poor quality of old moldings for aircraft models from the 80s ~ 90s. It sometimes took me ages to re-sand, re-engrave and adjust everything, because tolerances were just a vague idea back then 🥵. Nowadays, models are really precise and well designed, most of the time. But 30 years before, omg, it was a full time job 🤒. The « _Rafale A_ » from Heller still resides in my nightmares 😂
I miss those days, but not so much 😂

I assumed this kit was based around the Trumpeter kit, but it is a lot more basic than that one, so the final result is even more impressive.

The Italian camouflage colours are available in the Revell range. For example, the main yellow/sand colour is Revell 16 Sand, the Olive Green is Revell Satin 361, and the brown, is Revell Earth 87.

CLASSIC AIRFRAME ,supérieure a la TRUMPETER pour la justesse mais bien vieille car de 1990.
Bonne Base pour en faire le modèle CORSO de couleur rouge avec la bande blanche et les trois souris .
SAUF que si l'on prend ce kit et le transkit de chez SUPER MODEL cela met cher l'avion .
Je me contenterai d'un kit au 1/72 donc .

Tohle jsem jeste nikdy nevidel. Ta stavebnice je v lepsim pripade polotovar. Vy jste z toho udelal model a pak to postavil, jako by to byla Tamiya z roku 2024. Nechapu. Masakr.
