In 3 minutes my man shows you more than all other videos I've found on this same project in 8. And then he even goes into a full install of an aftermarket stereo. Props to you sir!
I helped a friend with an android radio same car then it powered on but no sound what’s the issue the factory radio Back in works but the aftermarket didn’t I had all the harness didn’t even have to splice it was all plug and play
I have exact setup right down to the stereo and ford harness. All hooked up but now no sound. Is there a built in amp wire that i have to hook up to get sound? Also do i need the other harness that came with the Ford harness?
My fusion has a 3rd harness from the dash that the ford harness came with that plugs into with two blue wires and a red/white rca jack. Do i need these? bc i think this is built in amplifier.
Hi so I'm doing this to my sister car, I've done my cars before but I have chevy she has a 2012 ford fusion, my question is I see you left one part of the radio unplugged, Is that part necessary for anything outside of the factory radio? I'm asking because of all the harnesses I've found the cheaper ones don't have that plug and the more expensive ones do, and I'm doing it for her for no charge because I have an old android auto/carplay capable radio I'm not using and I'm gifting it to her. Once again, Is the plug you left unplugged necessary? Thanks for your help! Awesome video BTW 👍🏾
I have a Fusion 2011 SE and it don't have the SYNC crest so phone doesn't work. Does that head unit will add all those feature without problem? like wifi android auto.
I just put in a similar unit and having the same problem with it not powering on. Does anyone know exactly what he did with the wire to get accessory power? Did he just put a fuse in the #27 slot and run a wire from there to the radio or what? If anyone has any help this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
If you have a cig lighter the red wire is 12v I used that to make my stock amp work with my new head unit my issue was no audio after install im pretty sure that will fix it

AC and heat are still working. You will need an extra universal steering wheel harness
