You can discard a Class card at any time, even in combat. Counts for the person named Cam which had a monster with +4 against warrior, should have discarded warrior race. && You may perform these actions on your own turn: Play a new Class or Race card (at any time). And maybe become something else then. Didn't know the rules, changed his game.
Looking for trouble is not the first card It means you can play a monster from your hand If you didn't draw one first. The first card is kicking in the door to the room the second card is looting the room.
I have several questions while in combat. If im in combat with a regular monster not undead. Can the other players intervene with an undead monster? Also… how many times can an other player intervene with a monster? Just once? Or multiple times?
Easiest way to win? Thief elf. Backstab those that you think are getting close help those that are behind. Plus with elf you gain a level for helping along with anything you bargain for.

Epic win by Divine intervention :D Something I noticed though: First of all looking for trouble doesn't mean you get to draw a face-down door card, that's looting the room. Which you do if you don't fight a monster. Looking for trouble means that instead of looting the room you play a monster card from your hand against yourself. I think you had this figured out later in the game anyways, right? Second thing I noticed that Chris used his ability to discard cards when being cursed. This is against the rules. When the curse hits the table it resolves right away and you don't have time to do anything else. Also I think Chris was carrying two big items at 18:00. You are allowed to have only one if you aren't a dwarf. I understand that it is your first time playing and the rules are pretty complex. It's not my intention to criticize, just to help you with the rules.

I'm pretty sure my train of thought on using my ability in response to the curse was like an 'instant' in Magic the Gathering. Oh well. Great game and I look forward to winning many more times ;)
Chris Ippolito Don't worry about it! There is actually a RULE that says cheating IS ALLOWED. So basically if no one caught it in game, it was entirely legal.
When it says you can't have more than 1 big card (obviously apart from dwarves) does this mean you can't have another big card at all or just not in play or just not two equipped at all ie. could I have two in my hand but not in play or two in play but only one equipped
I don't know if you got the answer but, it's 1 big card equipped. For example you have a big item equipped and you gain another that is better or has a better bonus for you than the one equipped you can swap those out, your first one would be in your inventory (items that you played but can't use for a reason or other) and the second would be equipped.
myself and my mates started treating it as one big card that you can have on your character the logic being whether its equipped or in your inventory your character is still holding it and it seems that the logic for having only one big card allowed is that it would be too heavy so we only allow one big item on the table and the other one(s) must be in your hand which arent technically on your characters person
Seemed intresting, but after the curtain-transition of each clip-view I skipped this video. Makes me dizzy, would be alot better to just skip those vertical curtain transitions in my opinion.

As far as I know,if a curse says you must lose an item,this item must be equiped (or in use) at that time.. The item Mark lost at 03:54 was not in use(it was sideways) and he shouldn't put it down anyway as it is useable only from clerics,which he wasn't at the time. So he should discard an item in use.. Unless you can do all these stuff in this version.. In any case,that was a great video..The game is very complex to show,on a single game..I'm pretty sire anyone plays it wrong in some sircumstances..Me and my buddies play it for almost 3 years and every now and then we discover something new or something we did wrong..and we spent many hours reading the rules,watching videos or discussing in forums..It's written that way and it is supposed to be complex,as many cards overule others or rules and so on..
You seem to know what you are talking about so I wonder if I can ask you an unrelated Munchkin question. If I have Munchkin Legends, is it possible to add expansions from the original Munchkin (or any other expansions)?
Victor M. Unfortunately I don't know about Munchkin Legends,cause I don't have it,but it should mention it on the rules. Some sequels(like Munchkin Zombies) are playable with original Munchkin (even if wikipedia mentions that it's a stand-alone version),so I suggest to consult what the rules say.. ps: to be fair, my reply above was not totally correct.. there are curses or bad stuff referred to objects in use or objects equiped(both in use or turned sideways)..so in that case the player could lose any item he wanted..

How do you set this mother effer up and start it? I want to rip my head off and throw it across the room. I've had this mega expensive game for about 8 years and have just about given it to good will for someone else to lose their mind over about once a year. But it's new and dammit I want to play it one time before I decide I hate it and chuck it out under the pine trees. Then light the pine trees on fire. I bought this to enjoy with my son back when he *could* enjoy it. But the instructions are utter crap and we never could even get the very first part of it figured out. Oh it's better than the card game the store said... everyone wants the expansion pack the guy said. What for... to throw onto the pile of other expensive unintelligible garbage that came with it? Sure I'll pay multiple times the original card game price for the better version I said... since my son will love it. I should have at least lit it on fire and roasted him some marshmallows for all the goods it's been. And seeing a board game all set up and people sitting around it giggling just makes me even more angrier. Obviously there's rules these asshole game makers just *assumed* everyone knew and wouldn't have to explain. Curses to them. Curses to their horses. Curses to their dogs. May their rubbers break and their monster drinks all be expired.

Tech Geek Gamers thanks. I have the quest version which looks like it's a 3D puzzle of the willy wonka chocolate factory. Watching a video and looking at the manual I at least got the first set up figured out. I thought it needed to go together like a puzzle or something to start out. I finally kind of see what it's about, and it's nothing like the d&d game I played eons ago with just a pen and paper. I don't know if we can play it, but at least I can see if we'd want to now. I thought I had bought something more like cards against humanity but board style. So I was just utterly confused by the billions of complicated pieces. I must have had at least ten people look at those instructions including 3 or 4 gamers, and I don't think anyone even discovered where the game set up part was. I think everyone including myself looked at it like the fine print of a phone contract, skimmed it for a while and then decided this wasn't why they incarnated here, and went to retrieve the lost 20 minutes of their lives. I'm sure starting with the original card game actually would have been enjoyable, and afterwards the quest version might have made sense. It's just incredibly complicated and nuanced and if some enthusiastic person who knows what they are doing doesn't introduce it, it dies on contact. Which I'd guess is how most other rp games get introduced. So thanks for the reply and the link. I'll check that out too.

another game that depends on the group is Meko Card Games The Farm Game, I had alot of fun with it.
We always did 5-7 itmes in your hand at most so this will be interesting to watch

It's a shame you can't see the cards. For me, that's half the fun of the game, reading the crazy descriptions of each one.

I believe you can only win the last level by killing a monster right? Not bu just gaining a level like they did with devine intervention. I would say.
Usually, that is the case. Divine Intervention says “this can be the winning level.” 👍🏼
