I have played guitar for years. I have never played a Ukulele but I watch the you, and now I can pick up a Ukulele and play it. You are the best teacher.
I have a soprano spruce top Lanikai and looking to purchase a tenor. After hearing her review on the similar baritone I’m thinking I really may just go with a concert spruce Lanikai 😅
You can tell a lot about a person who gives away a precious possession to a stranger people like that are rare. I had a favorite Tshirt and I happened to wear it over a long sleeve shirt once while doing a visit to Athens Ga and this sweet phillipino lady who did the cleaning always took time to talk to me about her and her family but that day she said "I like your tshirt". I took it off and gave it to her without hesitation and to see the look of joy on her face was priceless. I did the same thing with a piece of Art that I loved loved loved. A friend of mine liked it and I gave it to her. Years later I saw the same Art in the mall framed in a beautiful wooden frame and bought it for 49 dollars frame and all. You always get back in some way or another when you give freely. I know this has nothing to do with your uku reviews but it made me smile to see that you're a giving person as well.
I'm hooked on Lanikai, I purchased a tenor zircote wood and just love the sound and action on it. But one uku was not enough. Last month a went on ahead and purchased a Baritone Lanikai solid acacia koa top which reaffirmed my love of Lanikai ukes, its beautiful sound and action are superb in my book. BTW it was you Ms. B. who got me started on this pleasant journey. Thanks a heap!
I have just found you today and have spent the morning watching your videos. Thank you so much. I have watched a lot of “beginner” videos. Most go from a couple of chords straight to a song. Which, for me is not what I need at this moment in learning. I also want to thank you for your free sheets that are downloadable. I think you provide everything I will need to learn. Now, it’s up to me. Again, thank you! I am trying to learn a lot later than most (48yrs). However, with you I think my chances are a lot better now that I’ve found your videos.
I selected my Islander tenor, and Stagg soprano for my grandson at a local music store. Though a similar Stagg got a low score from Baz, I think I benefitted from buying at a shop as it seems to have good intonation and holds its tune pretty well. The Islander was also set up nicely. The benefit of shopping at a local store is that they are there when you need them. Their brand selection might be a bit limited due to their overhead, but what they offer is service and advice you won't find at the big box or Outlets.
This is a real useful review! It changed my bias towards the traditional shape to be more open and the practicality of a plastic for travel and camping and hiking. Hearing them compared at the end was the best demonstration of grit hitting the grindstone after all, that's what it's all about. Thank you for energy and talent Lady B!
I love how you are bashful about your 'signature' Ukulele. I haven't got a Soprano Travel Ukulele yet and I am so excited about purchasing it. I also want to give something back being as you give so much! I have just received my blue Enya EUC-MAD thanks to the video by you and Yoshino. I just had to have it and I love it! I considered the cutaway Enya Ukuele but didn't like the sound as much as the EUC-MAD so went with that. It's very special hearing you talk about your own favourite Ukulele's. Thank you for sharing this video. I love your channel. The best Ukulele teacher ever! Thank you for all that you do!
The Magic Fluke is incredible! Like you said, the shape of the neck and the zero fret are amazing and I love it. My favorite although I don’t have as many ukes as you do I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Made in the USA too!
I play guitar, and I recently bought my 1st ukulele for travel. It's hard to bring a guitar when you travel because they're so big and I'm afraid they'll lose it or break it. I bought a Kala KA-CGE, mostly because it was one of the nicest ukes they had in the store. As a guitar player, I like that it has a nice banding and rosette, and I like the gloss mahogany finish. I wanted a concert uke- soprano seems so small, and the baritone sounded more like a guitar to me, and after all, I was shopping for a ukulele, not another guitar. But what really sold me on the KA-CGE was the built in tuner and amp jack- you can plug this thing in and play it through an amp! Try playing your uke through a Tube Screamer!!! No, don't- it doesn't sound right, I tried it, but if you want to play with a guitar player or a bass, or if you want to play at an amatuer night where the room is loud, you can plug this in and people can actually hear you. All this for well under $200. I don't have much to compare it to because its my 1st ukulele, but I'm happy with it, and in the end, that's all that matters, right?
Thank you so much for all of the reviews and for playing so many different ukuleles. I live in a remote area and would never be able to track down all of these brands to experiment myself. I'm only just beginning to play but I can already feel an obsession brewing- I'll own 10 ukuleles and still only be able to play Row, Row, Row Your Boat...
I'm a beginner who bought an Amazon $50 special a couple of months ago. It's a good value instrument, but I noticed that it was hurting the fingers on my left hand and making them tingle, even when I'm not playing. I got a string action guide and confirmed that the strings were way too high. I wouldn't have had the guts to mess with a fancy instrument, but I took a hammer to the nut on my starter and sanded it way down. It's super easy to play now. I hardly have to touch the strings. No buzz yet either (knock on wood). I would also recommend that beginners look for a ukulele with a neck that's wider than the (seemingly) standard 35mm. It makes chords like the D major where you have three fingers in a row a lot easier. Although it might make bar chords harder.
Love this video. Thank you. I started your 30 day challenge 8 days ago. My husband and I are sailing our boat to Florida from Annapolis, Md. my daughter gave me a ukulele and all your printed material to do the challenge. I am loving it. I have lots of time to practice too. Thank you for making all these videos.
The ortega uku is magnificent! 😍 But nothing beats your signature uke!! 😍😍😍The dark blue shade is so beautiful!! I love the sakuras on the dark background. ❤️❤️❤️
🎉🎉🎉Drumroll please!!! 🥰🥰🥰👉🏼 5:39 🙃I looooove the Flight TUS-31 Sakura (which is your brand New “Bernadette Signature Ukulele”)❤️❤️❤️ - Wow, i just noticed it’s Yellow on the back of the neck (my favvvvorite color).....I loooove the Plastic Back and Fretboard; I loooove the front with those pretty Cherry Blossoms against that deep Blue color; I looove that it has a Zero Fret; I loove those dark strings - Sounds Fabulous!!!🎉🎉🎉. Though I love my Tenor Cordoba - I May need to change the strings soon - for a Better Sound😍. Honestly - All these favorties of yours look Fabulous😍😍😍 - my Next One will be the “FLIGHT TUS-31 SAKURA”❤️. (Followed by Cynthia Lin’s🥰🥰🥰). Cheers to each Manufacturer🎉🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️. GREAT JOB!!! (Thank you Luisa for the Time Stamps on this video😍😍😍). Thanks “Coach” for this video😍😍😍🎁
I bought the Enya because of your review and my poor Ibanez concert (which used to be my top choice) gets no love. It is hard to put that Enya down and my students love it as well!
My favorite ukulele is my mom's that she got on her 25th wedding anniversary. It's a concert Koalola Koa ukulele. My parents got it while they were in Hawaii but they have never picked it up to learn how to play!
Just started learning with my 10 year old who just joined a club at school playing ukulele. I have a baritone and he has a concert. I love this instrument. Thanks for showing these off. Now I want the spruce top model. Sounded amazing.
My first ukulele (a Makala soprano) will always be special to me since it was my first uke ever! But what I play now is a Cordoba (Concert - 15CM) and I love that one! I do plan on getting another soprano, and I know I'm going to get the Flight travel ukulele! Where I live in Mumbai is insanely humid (and it's not even monsoon yet) so the Sakura ukulele would be perfect to withstand all the weather changes :)
I totally agree with your description of the Cynthia Lin Ohana ukulele! I have one, and it not only looks pretty, but it sounds pretty! I call it my “fancy” ukulele. 😊 I also have a Fender Zuma, which is my go-to ukulele for fun and comfort. Thank you for this video! I love seeing you showcase your ukuleles! ❤️
My life changed when I bought my Kala EBY-C Ebony!!! I am in love with his rich and mellow sound! Since I have started playing with it but I lost my interested in mahogany ukes! It is a concert and I realised that it is the perfect size for me. Thank you for your lessons Bernadette! In these crazy days of self-isolation I am following your 30 days challenge tutorial that I had left off months ago!
I just found you on here as I am looking to purchase my FIRST Ukulele. I was watching this video and I see you are from Maryland. I am from Maryland as well. How exciting. I am going to use your tips to find the perfect beginner's ukulele. I just watched one of your other videos where you said that you were living at that time in Okinawa, Japan. I am a Japanophile for sure. Thank you.
I LOVE this video!! So much Ukulele goodness!! I’ve never seen that design of Flight travel. It’s gorgeous! My favorite changes all the time. But I absolutely LOVE my Ko’Aloha ksm-00 (soprano koa). And since you didn’t limit yourself to just one favorite 😉, I’ll also say I love my 5-string Ohana (ck-38-5) and my Outdoor Ukulele. Can’t wait read others comments on this. Thanks again for the great video.
I recently started playing ukulele and am going to add it into my guitar class curriculum this coming year. I ended purchasing a Cordoba 15CM. I originally wanted an acoustic-electric, but the projection of this Cordoba was out of this world just off the shelf!
I have a lanikai that buzzes so I will def change the strings. Fingers crossed it will sound way better. I like my Luna concert and my Bondi soprano but I think I have room for more...
Thank you for this comparison. Like a wine tasting, hearing them next to each other was revealing. surprising to hear the differences. For me, choosing my favorite ukulele is very easy. I only have one, so it is my best sounding, best looking ukulele. I made it myself from scratch and I am enjoying learning to play it. Thanks to Bernadette for all the help.
I'm a beginner uke player and it's my first instrument I've taken seriously. My boyfriend bought me a Makala concert ukulele by Kala for my birthday and I love her! She fits so well and sounds beautiful to me even though I'm still crap at it lol
I really like the vintage sunburst and binding on that little Duke. As a non ukelele person, the flamed back and the sides of the Ortega would be so nice mated with a spruce top and a simple binding.
As someone who has recently messaged you about what ukulele to purchase, I really appreciate this video. I started about a month and half ago with a soprano ukulele that I built from a kit after deciding I wanted to both take up ukulele and have a fun project. With the help of your #30dayUKEchallenge I have actually been able to play several songs without looking at the fret board. I recently decided I wanted to get a concert size and then started researching. I looked at a few different Kala models, but they did not grab me. I ended up at Guitar Center where I spent close to two hours playing various ukuleles. I debated back and forth between the Lanikai LU22CGC and the Cordoba 15CM, eventually going with the Cordoba. The Lanikai has a smaller body than some of the other concert models they sell. The Cordoba had a nice feel (much lighter than then Lanikai), look and tone. Both were on sale for less than I could find online. My wife commented that the sound is less twangy and more smooth than my diy one. The look of the instrument makes me want to pick it up and play it which will help me continue to practice and hopefully get better.
I was given a Mango wood Prono Soprano for 2019 Christmas after my sister began playing and challenged me to learn as well. so am VERY new to this (and just instruments in general). It is so much fun to play and the wood is very pretty. I was taken by your pale one with the very strong wood grain. Beautiful! Both my sister and Love all your videos and completely appreciate how much time you take to play at a beginner's speed. Thank you so much.
My favorite has always been the tenor ukulele in low g. I currently have seven ukuleles: 2 Martin, 1 Pono, 2 Kala, 1 Fender, 1 Soundsmith. I have been wanting to try a baritone but wasn't sure which one to buy. I took your advice and got the Lanikai just like yours. I am hooked! Great sound, beautiful in its simplicity. Having a little trouble hitting that F chord but I'm working on it. Thank you so much for your help and inspiration.
Based on the look, for me personally your signature uke is the most beautiful one. So excited to get one😍 but I have to admit that the ortega one and the enya euc are beautiful as well. Just like fire and water.
Not sure I qualify as mine is a 6 string tenor but, mine is a Yamaha Guitalele. I absolutely love this instrument, it sits behind my chair on top of my small guitar amplifier and I can just reach behind me at anytime and start picking out a tune. I looked at lots of interesting and sometimes expensive tenor's but, as a lifelong guitar player I like something extra for my thumb to pick out a bass line. Considering its less than £100 with a gig bag I cant believe how good it sounds. It is now a permanent part of my life ;-)
Thanks for the comparisons! From listening to them side by side, I can say that I prefer all of the tenors over any of the concerts. My favorite ukulele I have ever played is the Epiphone Tenor Hummingbird ukulele. My favorite that I play at home is a Kmise spruce top baritone with laminate rosewood sides and back. It is pretty and sounds nice. I did a review of it on my channel if anyone is interested. It came with gCEA strings but I put a low G string on it and dropped the tuning down to EADflatGflat because I prefer the lower tension on the strings and the lower tone.
I have the Hummingbird Uke. I am just learning to play. I love it love love it. The strings were horrible on it. I changed them to Ernie Ball strings upon the recommendation of this channel and it made a huge difference. I liked the Hummingbird because it was pretty. Lol. Knew nothing about Ukeleles. I am a jazz pianist and wanted to add Ukelele to things I teach. I also teach piano. I am totally in the world of Ukeleles!
You are so awesome Thank you for sharing your Ukuleles Im a baritone ukulele person but loveyour favorite and I think the second or third one you play, I thought were Awesome Thanks again!! I watch and get interesting tips from you all the time Thank you Love Sam❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Just been researching ukuleles and have ordered a budget tenor and strings with the low G which I have to restring to suit me as a lefty. Watching this video was the final decider to buy one and learn as I really enjoy how you played the chords. That strumming sounds great and I am now subscribed. Thank you.
I love my caramel zebra wood tenor ukulele. It has a sun around the sound hole and it was $40. It was SOOOO cheap for the quality on Amazon, and it has such an amazing tone.
using a islander hawaii ukulele - sub brand from Kanilea for beginner. It sounds good. I have seen Enya ukulele and it really attracted me. I also wish to have a Kala ukulele.
I figure this comment may or may not get lost, but it has a 50% chance just by attempting, sooooooo ... I bought my first Ukulele, a Lanikai Soprano, in 2016 but I actually began learning in early 2019. I added a Glarry Tenor, then a Protége Concert, now I play my Ibanez Iceman Tenor Electric/Acoustic. It looks like a little ”Rockstar Ukulele.” I would LOVE tutorials with THAT one. 😉 Have you played it? PS ... I used your tip about the command strip instead of drilling a hole! “So far, so good!”
My favorite in my collection is the Luna Flamed acacia tenor. It's gorgeous and sounds really good. Then I have a lovely Harvey Benton Hawaiian Koa, but it's a concert and I feel it's not the right size for me. Maybe I just have to get used to it. Your flight travel is pretty 💕 I own the mahilele cherry blossom, which is the same thing (I've read somewhere that they're made by the same factory). Anyway, I only store in cases the ones I prefer, 'cause I don't want them to get dusty 😂 Every morning I choose the ukulele I'll be playing for the day, I pick it up from the case and I put it on the couch. Ready to be tuned and played
What a great video! My first "adult" uke was a soprano Flea - still have it, still love it, and bought a concert Flea a few months ago. They are great ukes. My long-term favorite is my red Makala Dolphin (before they changed the fretboards to from rosewood to walnut). It is never more than a few feet from me. I also love just about anything Enya makes; I have several of their HPL models and have recently become enamored by their Nova U line (I have a concert and a soprano, and have bought a few for friends); I notice you also play a pink concert enya Nova U. So anyway - thanks for another out of the park excellent video!
My Washburn comfort series all solid Koa tenor! I wish I could post a photo it is a show stopper looks wise, very flashy. I got it last December and it has become the uke I grab virtually every single time I just want to play or if I want to be sure I sound good in groups. I have it set up high g. I thought Washburn was going to get back into manufacturing ukuleles under their own name again but now I think maybe this one never made it into production. I'll be honest, it had sharp fret wires and a little bit of sloppy glue along the finger board and I replaced the plastic bridge pins with some that I thought matched the ukulele better, and they sound better too, there's a place on the neck binding where the fret wire actually pushed the binding away from the fingerboard and we're not quite sure how to fix that. BUT inside and structurally this thing is magnificent and it's all solid koa with the beautiful comfort edge and a modified cutaway that is so easy to play. Flat fretboard. Sounds absolutely incredible and I'll let the looks speak for themselves. I would LOVE to know what happened to this line by Washburn. I wrote them asking and they never wrote back. I think it was originally list price at over $800 and I got mine B stock for $200. I've only ever seen one other for sale and it appears to be B stock also. If you are able to find out what happened please let me know. They should put these into production only maybe with tighter quality controls.
Was this before you filmed ‘the how to change your strings on your ukulele’ video? because I will say the Enya would have looked STUNNER with its new black strings in this showcase! 😍
Thank you, Bernadette, for a charming and helpful post. I am so tired of "best ukulele" posts where everything is low-levelish - and appreciate that you highlighted such widely different brands and looks. I will share this widely with ukulele friends. p.s. My Enya EUC-MAD continues to delight! your fan, brigid
Sorry I have been so absent. But I want you to know that I have been watching your travels and your videos. Life just got in the way this past year but I plan to be back soon. As an example of my luck, had my cat in the vet last week for his check up an d he freaked out! The vet tech couldn’t handle him so I jumped in and grabbed him and of course he bit deeply into the back of my left hand. Then there was an infection. So I am in the hospital having surgery on my hand 2 days ago IV antibiotics. I’m sure Jose can tell you how dangerous a deep cat bite can be, especially to us old timers. I loved your review of all your Ike’s. I still enjoy my Akai but plan to change strings soon and I think I will go to a low g. Thanks again for all your hard work.
My favorite and for now the only one is Flight TUS50 Travel. I am looking for concert uke for few months now, and I can't decide. I think that Flight is so great, that I am afraid of buying a cheap concert one, because I will probably be disappointed. I love the Enya and Sunstar, but are out of my budget range, so I would't mind if you will think of me in your next give away. ;) Your timing for uploading this video couldn't be more perfect for me. (I was checking ukes for few hours today and then I check youtube and here it is, the video that I need! :) ) Thank you from the heart for all great videos and your effort. THANK YOU! :)
I absolutely LOVE my OU5E by Oscar Schmidt. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I LOVE the sound. I found it in the "used section" and guitar center and it was love at first sight. It didn't have a scratch on it. It sounds so amazing, and I can't put it down! I was lucky to it home for just 83 dollars. Not sure how much it is new, but I highly recommend. Great quality.
I'm a newke so just starting my collection. Music teacher hoping to get a grant to buy some for my classroom next year! 🤞🏼 My pretty Paisen concert is my fav so far, but I'm loving your blue Enya and Ortega.
Big fan, love your videos. You should try a seagull merlin m4. It's a dulcimer/strumstick and there's no wrong notes. You could make series of videos like the sanshin.
I'm just learning to play the ukulele and I picked up a Lanikai LU-21. It's a soprano model. I'm so happy I picked this one. It wasn't too pricey and it has a really nice pleasant sound. It's also easy to play, which makes learning fun. They are easy to get too, I picked mine up on Amazon.
I loved them all what great taste. I love all of mine also. I play one until I get tired hearing the sound then I switch to one my others, and so on. Iol I have all of mine strung low g. I just love the sound. I cant pick one of my favs I like them all. Great video 😎🤙❤
I love your videos and that you play all of them back to back so we can really get decent aural comparison. I'd have to say that I have fallen in love with the baritone ukuleles...my favorite right now is between the Ohana BK-35G solid Mahogany (I changed the strings to the Oasis GPX Fluorocarbon strings) and one I just got, a Pono MGB-K solid Mango. I love the warmth of the Mahogany Ohana, but I love the action of the Pono. I also really like my first. baritone that I bought myself like 3 years ago...a Caramel CB103. As far as my "non-baritones", I absolutely LOVE my bamboo Kala (KA-BMB-T). Thanks for making all these vids. I find them very informative
I like your baritone sound. I have a tenor Aklot acoustic electric. It has a nice sound, comfortable to play, electric tuner built in and I bought 3nothers for my granddaughters.. Bought two tenors, and two concerts ,all electric/acoustic with tuners. I spent less than $400 for all 4 two years ago. I take one to work almost every day. In case I have a few minutes to practice or demonstrate.
Beautiful ukuleles!! In my opinion, based on the sounds, Lanikai and Enya are the best ones! I missed your Enya that has black and rockstar look in it's head! Every time you play with that one I'm in love hahaha This is a great video and will help a lot of people to decide what to buy and DEFINITELY how a ukulele is supposed to sound! And what I mean by that is: please, avoid toysound ukuleles! Hahaha Ailoviu B, thanks for a new awesome video.. You are the best! 😊
I recently bought an ohana ck-14e (that's basically the cl without flower but with a passive pickup) and I LOVE IT. I was gonna buy a fender zuma at first, then an ortega, but when I tried them in a shop I was blown away by the difference in sound that this little guy has. it's very simple, but wonderful.
My goto soprano uke is a £20 octopus uke while travelling I have the flight travel uke and my fav concert is the populele I also have halona electric uke and a donner tenor uke all of them are budget priced but I can now play the ukulele with thanks to you.
Hi Bernadette, now that was a really good video, im currently looking to upgrade big time, so this video has been a great help, i will be buying all four sizes in one shot, my favorite is the Lanikai spst-b baritone, i also like Duke ukulele's so i will be getting four Duke or four Lanikai , thanks so much, Scott.
I have a Caramel Baritone Zebra striped Acoustic/Electric that I re-stringed to Low G, CEA. Sounded incredible when it was in tune. I had issues with the bridge ripping off due to the tension. I’m repairing it with the hopes that I can get the same sound back. I will keep you posted.
my kamaka baritone sat collecting dust in the corner until you added baritone to your videos now it is my favorite, I also have a ukulele that is tension tuned, are there some secrets to doing that successfully?? my baritone and I thank you for bringing us together, ,maria from annapolis
I'm trying to research more uks because I'm playing a hola amazon soprano uk that I got when I was really young and now that `I'm really playing your videos are so helpful and I know I can really trust you :3
So I was just listening and not watching when you played all the demos and I had to stop when you played the Lanikai LKP-T. That has my favorite sound!
That fluke uke is so cool. I luv that one because its really cool looking and i LUV d'adarrio strings. Also i also luv the uma pineapple because im a simple gal with simple needs! The sunstar uke is just self explanatory like so beautiful. The lanikai with the low g is gorgous in the sound deparment and look wise. Overall, u have good taste in ukes! Have a good day! Edit: i also predicted that the euc mad would be on there lol. Its like ur favorite child. Shhhhh dont tell the other ukes.

Thanks Lou, this helps
Thanks, as always!
Lou, thank you for being awesome!
Great Job Luisa - This helped a lot!!!❤️
Which chord progression are you demonstrating? Sounds great with
island strum.
Thank you for the kind words and the great review! Love the sound you get out of the Spruce Top Baritone!!
I'm definitely in love with that baritone's sound!
I have played guitar for years. I have never played a Ukulele but I watch the you, and now I can pick up a Ukulele and play it. You are the best teacher.
Albert, thank you so much. That is very sweet of you to say! 🥰
Those Lanakais are THE best sounding to my ears out of all of these. Thanks for the great video.
That is so great! Thank you for your support. Hope to see some videos of you playing soon.

Eeek! I did it. I am a beginner, and I currently have a Kala soprano. I just ordered the Enya EUC-MAD concert in blue. I am so excited!

Thank you SOOOO much for considering the some of us that can only afford an affordable ukulele on your channel. Thx so much! You make my day!!
Mine is a Fender soprano Grace Vanderwaal edition. I hope Lanikai will be my next Uke.
Thanks Bernadette.
With your unboxing of ukes, I bought the Enya EUC-MAD and I loved playing it!!
But nothing beats your signature uke!!
I was organizing my apps and your notification popped up and i clicked right away! Love your vids!!! 😊
My favorite ukulele is my mom's that she got on her 25th wedding anniversary. It's a concert Koalola Koa ukulele. My parents got it while they were in Hawaii but they have never picked it up to learn how to play!
These ukuleles are all so pretty! It amazes me how different sounding every ukulele is. Always love your videos! 💕
Your collection is beautiful. Beautiful.
I wonder if I could convince my family that it's alright to have two of each size ukulele?!?
I recently started playing ukulele and am going to add it into my guitar class curriculum this coming year. I ended purchasing a Cordoba 15CM. I originally wanted an acoustic-electric, but the projection of this Cordoba was out of this world just off the shelf!
I have a lanikai that buzzes so I will def change the strings. Fingers crossed it will sound way better. I like my Luna concert and my Bondi soprano but I think I have room for more...
Thank u Bernadette! Great demonstration and thorough explanation. A definite guide for ukelele lovers.
Also I found another soprano ukulele I love the look of, going to have to save for it and hope they are still in stock.
Haha, I loved your video, your mannerisms and love for the ukes are so cute😁
My favorite ukulele is my Sun Star spalted maple soprano. It’s pretty and plays beautifully.
All your ukes are so gorgeous and well cared by the owner. Miss you Ms. B
I've only played one so far so I can't tell you which one is my favorite but I do know that I want to invest in a Baritone ukulele 💚
Due to this video of your favorites, I went and bought the Lanikai Baritone....I love it. Many many thanks for all you do to spread the love of music
Really fun to see the joy you have in your ukuleles:) and am enjoying your videos, a new-to-uke player...
That was a great Bari story Ms.B. My favorite is the one I'm playing. I understand now why people have walls of uke's. Playable Art,
Happy day
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been wanting the enya uke. It's added to my list!
Did you get it?!
Dang, that duke dusvb sounds sooo good!!!
wow i love all of your uploads
Great looking ukuleles, and wow... you are just stunning to watch and listen too. I subbed and ordered a tenor yesterday. Can’t wait to get it.
I love my Enya, there is something about the shape of their neck that is super comfortable to my hand. Leah
I love the Enya EUC-MAD . Love the look and the sound.
I love my flight ukes, but the next uke I'll buy will be an anya EUT-MAD. The shiny blue finish is just stunning!
Did you buy it? This is what I'm wanting to get for my first uke!!
Finally, someone else buys Kmise. I have 2 and they are top quality workmanship, sound great and cheap. You can't go wrong buying Kmise.
You are so awesome
Thank you for sharing your Ukuleles
Im a baritone ukulele person but loveyour favorite and I think the second or third one you play, I thought were Awesome
Thanks again!!
I watch and get interesting tips from you all the time
Thank you
Love Sam❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
I added
a Glarry Tenor, then a Protége Concert, now I play my Ibanez Iceman Tenor Electric/Acoustic. It looks like a little ”Rockstar Ukulele.” I would LOVE tutorials with THAT one. 😉 Have you played it?
PS ... I used your tip about the command strip instead of drilling a hole! “So far, so good!”
Hey! Glad the command strip worked!!
And if I ever get a rockstar ukulele, I will use it in my tutorials 😉
My favorite in my collection is the Luna Flamed acacia tenor. It's gorgeous and sounds really good.
Then I have a lovely Harvey Benton Hawaiian Koa, but it's a concert and I feel it's not the right size for me. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
Your flight travel is pretty 💕
I own the mahilele cherry blossom, which is the same thing (I've read somewhere that they're made by the same factory).
Anyway, I only store in cases the ones I prefer, 'cause I don't want them to get dusty 😂
Every morning I choose the ukulele I'll be playing for the day, I pick it up from the case and I put it on the couch.
Love the sounds of each of them. The enya sounds so bright in comparison to the Cynthia Lin! Incredible.
YES ! The LANIKAI BARITONE ! With Low G strings tuned to GCEA : )
Amazing collection☺️
So far, (I'm not finished yet 😉) I have 2 ukuleles. My favorite is my soprano Flight ukulele. It sounds great and it's so cute. It's white.
And nice low action!
Was this before you filmed ‘the how to change your strings on your ukulele’ video? because I will say the Enya would have looked STUNNER with its new black strings in this showcase! 😍
lixxeth yes!, I did! I should have waited!!
THANK YOU! :)
I have a soprano, Venice by Fender. It's amazing. It's special because it's my first and only one, and because it was a early birthday present
Did I mention that it's 130$US!!
THank you for your vids. I have learned a lot from you.
Would you review Outdoor Ukulele please? They are a company in Bend Oregon.
Great vids always and such a collection! I only have a Mele o Hawai'i concert all acacia wood! Love it
I am a newbie and I had purchased the Flight travel use. I am glad to see it among your favorites.
Should say uke not use. Autocorrect
my fav is the flight tus-31 sakura its so cute!!!!!!! i love it i wish i had it!
I only have two ukes right now, so my Favourite is the Kala KA KTGE C. It's a tenor. But I'm planning on getting a baritone ukulele soon!
Every time you play with that one I'm in love hahaha
This is a great video and will help a lot of people to decide what to buy and DEFINITELY how a ukulele is supposed to sound! And what I mean by that is: please, avoid toysound ukuleles! Hahaha
Ailoviu B, thanks for a new awesome video.. You are the best! 😊
The Sunstar maple is a beauty, but the Lanikai is my favorite. Reminds me of the cuatro from Venezuela,......thank you for sharing. 🙏🏾🌹
😉😬😎
I just posted the question, which should I buy, before seeing this video. LoL. Great video with so many options!
my kamaka baritone sat collecting dust in the corner until you added baritone to your videos now it is my favorite, I also have a ukulele that is tension tuned, are there some secrets to doing that successfully?? my baritone and I thank you for bringing us together, ,maria from annapolis
I like the Ortega RUK the best.
It looks like a tiny flamenco guitar :D
I'm trying to research more uks because I'm playing a hola amazon soprano uk that I got when I was really young and now that `I'm really playing your videos are so helpful and I know I can really trust you :3
So I was just listening and not watching when you played all the demos and I had to stop when you played the Lanikai LKP-T. That has my favorite sound!
That is one of my favorite ukuleles!
Same. That one gave me chills. So gorgeous.
