Sonny and Brenda continue to discuss the situation with Jax and each other. Brenda decides to let Sonny come with her to tell Jax what is really going on.
Sonny and Brenda go see Jax and explain what is going on. Needless to say, he doesn't take it very well and calls Mac.
Mac stops by and is informed about Dorman setting up Jax
Later, Sonny kisses Brenda and tells her the next time they kiss, she will come to him.
All these years later and that kiss still steams up my screen every time. #bestsupercoupleofalltime

Brenda: "People are better than you think". Gosh I miss these two. Brenda made Sonny a better person and someone I came to be a fan of and love back in the day. They screwed up when they put him with Carly. She brought out the worst in him and has made him someone I hate again and I am no longer a fan because of it. Brenda made him redeemable after the the stuff with Karen and his pairing with Brenda is the reason he became a fan favorite and lasted so long Not his pairing with Carly . So I don't get these ridiculous CarSon fans at all smh.
I don't know. I loved Sarah Brown's Carly with Sonny. They had a great banter, understood/accepted the bad parts of each other, they were good with Michael and also dislike to love can be a great story. Plus Sonny seemed more open and forgiving in general and Brenda dying had a lot to do with that. I did hate that they over exaggerated Sonny and Lily but rewrites are always a pain. If it was me, I would have had him be devastated over events that led to Brenda's death and how if he had made different choices then she would still be alive. I mean it all went downhill with him being unable to forgive about the wire (I mean be mad for a minute but he took it above and beyond). Although Brenda was really naive at that time, I still wonder how she thought a wire was a good idea. But back to the rewrite because my love for SnB is a whole other post - you could still say Lily and his unborn child were important to him w/o diminishing Brenda's true effect on him. Imo they might have made it about Lily to ease SnB fans into S&C.
With Sarah (a powerhouse actress), Carly was vicious but she had real insecurities that made her a fan favorite. TB and LW are just different and seem less vicious. Plus Sonny could never truly walk all over her and sometimes I didn't know who would win in a physical fight. Not that I would want a fight of course but they felt equal in many ways. I liked Sonny being more forgiving which I believe Brenda had a lot to do with. Sarah was also very physically affectionate and Sonny would allow her into his space even when they hated each other so that was intriguing as well. After Sarah left, Sonny did very much become less likable and I couldn't root for him. He treated Carly like crap towards the end of SJB leaving and it set it up to be the same with TB Carly. Also, he lost that charm/I protect the people I'm loyal to over myself that made you like him despite yourself - he had it with Brenda and SJB's Carly but not TB and beyond.

I find that being a S&B fan and a SJB CarSon fan allows me to see both sides. Although I'm often very torn and conflicted because I love them equally and go back and forth between who I could live without. Lol! I can see why you love Jason and Carly too because Sarah's Carly is my fav and Jason was good for her. Plus Jason and Sonny before and around this time - I love them both so much.

I just started watching GH in 2013. Thank you so much for these videos. The 90's were so much better than current episodes. I would love to find full episodes from the 90's, that would be awesome.

After doing a Sonny and Carly post on a S&B channel, I want to make sure I thank you for these videos. I appreciate the time you put into them and I love S&B so much. It's great to watch their story and I love Sonny chasing Brenda & it being very clear that Brenda is gravitating back towards Sonny at this point. It is always Sonny and Sonny was always the one she loved most even when Jax and her stayed together during the Miranda storyline. In fact I have a theory that she wasn't really fully Jax's until the breakdown aftermath but Sonny was never too far from her heart and soul even then hence the goodbye kiss in 2003. I'm done with the long posts now so just thank you.
