- My VSA and brake light both turned on in my 2006 Honda Pilot. I went with the easiest fix first and bought the recommended Dot 3 brake fluid. I decided to stick to a name brand (Prestone) just to be safe. Surprisingly, the VSA light turned off in addition to the brake light.
0:44 for a moment I thought this was the good’ol Blinker Fluid Prank.😄
But it’s fascinating that brake fluid did the trick. Great observation and documenting this.👍🏼 You just saved people thousands of dollars in diagnosing and unnecessary repairs.
Thank you this worked on my 2010 accord
Thank you so much, will try this. Just brought a beautiful Pilot.
Do you have to take out the line fluid as well or just the reservoir? Thanks!
Thank you for the information, very informative.
Thanks. I have a same vsa problem. I will try it.
Did that worked for you?
I had this happen, but a few days later I had brake fluid spots in my drive way and my brakes went soft. I probably have a decent leak and didn't realize it was gradually getting worse. I am getting it towed to the mechanic right now. Keep an eye for a leak.
I had issue with break light and one of the wheel speed sensor easnt reading speed so abs was on etc. I replaced the sensor but vsa light is on maybe i will try flushing a break system.
you rock! Thank u!
I just bought one with vsa and break light on. Will i be able to drive the vehicle with those light on?
Sometimes i start my car. Power steering light, Engine light and VSA light come on. I turned off the engine and start again these lights has off. What caused by.
Mine gave me a VSA and a check engine light. I'm getting under there in a few hours to see what's up.
Any chance this has been encountered by you?
I haven’t seen this one yet. Good luck today and let us know how it turns out.
@@buenosandiego Will do.
Did you fix this?
@@ehdeereotutar6843 The light was a sensor issue.
Something was spraying hot fluid onto the wiring.
Still trying to fix the engine light issue... The source of the spraying.
@@schrodingersgat4344 thanks for the quick response. Which sensor did you replace to get rid of the VSA! light?
Did you add the brake fluid or did you do a brake fluid flush
I just added.
I have an 06 Honda Pilot ; Both the VSA & BRAKE LIGHT have been coming off and on .. I already checked the brake fluid and it’s already at the appropriate level .
Can You Please Help Me out with this. ?! 😩
Need to check your brake pads bud. Only place for fluid to go as the pain pushes closer to the rotor
