I love these trees, you are very talented and a good teacher. I live on a farm and so instead of using brown for the tree trunks, I had my husband cut a limb off of a dead tree, and cut it into 1 inch slices and used those for the trees, gluing the tree to them. It makes it look really authentic. Thank you for the tutorial. :)
Hi Jayda! So I’ve been crocheting for about 7 weeks now. I came across your channel and found your lovely trees! I love them. I made one and took me a bit longer than you, but I did it! I wasn’t prepared with beans so I used rice. Keeps the tree sturdy, so I’m really happy with my stroke of genius lol. Thanks for really taking your time to explain everything that you were doing. I really really appreciate that. I’m looking forward to the rest of your collections and making more of the great items you feature. Thanks again, be well. Neil.

😊I stuffed my tree base and trunk with dry lentils. Before I sewed on the trunk, I inserted a small layer of poly fill to keep the lentils trapped. Nice project.
Hi Rita, thankyou! It's a tiny version (made using size 1 sock yarn and a 3.00 mm hook) of this tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/TW3KF-2_cko/w-d-xo.html
Lovely tutorial. Wil def do ds tom, as Christmas is arriving. Yipppee im soo xctd. My fav season. Tnx Jayda fr ds wonderful tutorial. God bless u nd yr fly.
These little guys are on my Make 9 this year so I’m just about to start a little forest. How did not laugh when the beans fell out!?! I don’t have chunky or textured green so wish me luck 😂 I love these blast from the past tutorials! I’m using the very same principles to make basket bottom mesh wine gift bags for the festive season. You are most definitely my crochet teacher too!
Hi Chelle! The Mr. has gotten really good at laughing into his shirt 🤣 Either that or he's so used to my antics that he can store his laughs for later!
The trees are just beautiful. I am doing a trio for gifts. Thank you, Jayda and Happy Holidays‼️😘 p.s. love the beans idea for weight. Love 💕your 💕channel.
Someone stole your yarn lol ;) cant wait to crochet this and gunna give it to neighbours as xmas tag , thank you again for all these lovely cute little thingy xoxo
This is so cute! I am going to make some of these. Just a thought.... I would suggest that you put a small circle of thin cardboard or cardstock, plastic mesh - maybe even an old plastic top from a medicine bottle or something if it is the right size - into the top of the trunk so that the beans are held in while you are attaching it to the bottom of the tree. Thanks for sharing!!
I just love your videos! I consider you my crochet teacher. I have learned so much from you and your tutorials. I have been wanting to do a little Christmas tree and since I'm still learning,I came back to your channel cause I knew you could get me through it and I did it!!! Thank you for sharing your talent, and making really great videos that are easy to follow!
TY, TY!! Been lookin all day for a Christmas Tree tutorial>> YOU made my day!! Told my Mom, " I got the Christmas Tree Up! " She looked at where I was to put it, and I Said, holding it in my hand, " No, it's right here, and she lol! thanks!
Hi Tereasa😊 That's so cute! I did the same thing LOL! I made a tall one, trimmed it and plunked it on the coffee table in front of my hubby and said, "tree's up!" 😂
I'm so glad I found your awesome channel! I just made my first tree & absolutely love it! Thank you so much & looking forward to more of your tutorials :)
So cute! May I ask what yarn you used for the dark green, with white that looks like snow? It is behind the little gray tree. Thanks for the instructions!
I have made a few different sized tree's, and I really like the way you show, and explain how to do this project. Could you make a video on how to make Christmas ornaments too?
Ok a tree will be my next project and send to my daughter. Shecan decorate it and do whatever she wants to do. I was wondering why you were on the floor.i got myy answer when you put those beans in the tree trunk. How cute and simple it's to make.
Hi Denise! We do, we have tutorials for the little mouse: th-cam.com/video/TW3KF-2_cko/w-d-xo.html and the bunnies: th-cam.com/video/tvmCvhHC47Q/w-d-xo.html Thank you for watching :)
Hi! Use whatever hook gets you a night tight stitch and texture, you don't want spaces between your stitches. Start with a 4.00 mm and go down from there 😊
hey Jayda,, greetings from your newest fan :) think this might be an old tutorial but i am lloking for any 3d xmas mini projects so I can hang them on a white twig thing i bought, I want to change the theme, xmas, easter etc and yet again you have come up trumps for me. these trees are soooo cute! my tops need some work, not very pointy yet but i'm going to make loads more. Do you have a tutorial for a stuffed bauble and some bells? Love the patient way you teach it really helps novice/intermediates like me. Thank you xxx
Hi! We haven't done bells yet...but we do have a tutorial on cute little hat toppers (one of which is a Pom Ball) that you might find useful! You can find that here: th-cam.com/video/8dqOhRBVjsM/w-d-xo.html
Hi Jayda, I have been following your channel for a short while now and have made a few of your items like the mini donuts and a few others. I have had several people ask me about them including my coworker for her granddaughter. I made a few and gave them to her. Everything I crochet I find online and do for fun. Lately I have had several people ask me to make them something I have made. I only do so when the creators give permission to sell as long as their name is tagged to it. I’m so glad people like crocheted items and are willing to pay for them. So I was wondering, Do you give permission to sell items that are crocheted with your patterns that has your name mentioned??
Hi Kathy, You are welcome to sell items you make using our patterns and tutorials, we just ask that you include our Name and links to our TH-cam Channel, website and Etsy shop for the design credit. You can also contact us at our Etsy shop (link in description) for more information on this 😊 Thank you for asking!
Is there a way to make it 5 foot tall with a stitch that looks like tree branches??? I have a allergy to the real tree, so I have always had a fake tree and I would love to have one could keep up all year and decorate for each month... LOL 😂 I think it would be cute..
💚 Thanks Jayda 💚❣️
Hi Jaana! You're so welcome!
These would be so great for adding outside a doll house, fairy house, or toy barn. Thank you for this adorable pattern.
Totally! Thank you for watching!
Trying a tree out! I want to make some as decor for my craft tables for my seasonal shows....may stick it in a dowel and the. In a flat disk. ❤

+Emma Deo Ohmygosh what an AWESOME idea!!!! * imagining a little cozy forest in the corner of my bedroom...*
+Jayda InStitches I also thought of putting rocks in the bottom so it is pretty sturdy. (I have a cat so he will probably scratch it up pretty well)
That's genius too! Ohmygosh, you're cat is going to lose it if you 'plant' a bunch of cozy trees in your room LOL

I have made a few different sized tree's, and I really like the way you show, and explain how to do this project. Could you make a video on how to make Christmas ornaments too?
Try putting just a small amount of stuffing over the top of the beans
Ok a tree will be my next project and send to my daughter. Shecan decorate it and do whatever she wants to do. I was wondering why you were on the floor.i got myy answer when you put those beans in the tree trunk. How cute and simple it's to make.
* giggle * YES, they want to spill and bounce everywhere!
@@JaydaInStitches I did a granny square tree. Made three so far and they came out great.
They are addictive haha
Love your videos. I have ideas for gifts for next Christmas. I too like the mouse & the bunny and would like to know if you have patterns for them.

+Fernande McGuire *giggle * yes! It's the same as the Crochet Mouse tutorial we put up a few months ago :)
I rately use the thicker yarn, its almost always a 4 weight, what size hook would you suggest?
Hi! Use whatever hook gets you a night tight stitch and texture, you don't want spaces between your stitches. Start with a 4.00 mm and go down from there 😊
@@JaydaInStitches thank you!!

can you do a Video on your little people
Do you have or would be interested in making a video on bowl shapes to store things in. Thank you.
Thank you for the suggestion :)
Can you please make it bigger? 🌲
Hi Jayda, how would I make a large tree like these...say 12 to 18 " tall?
Hi Kim, that might take a little experimenting, but starting with super thick yarn and a big hook will seriously upsize this tree to start with 😊
Hi Jayda, I have been following your channel for a short while now and have made a few of your items like the mini donuts and a few others. Do u do 2 in every stitch to make 12
Can I make thes taller, and how?
Hi! The easiest way to upsize this pattern is to use a big hook and much thicker yarn OR a few strands of yarn held together 😊
Is there a way to make it 5 foot tall with a stitch that looks like tree branches??? I have a allergy to the real tree, so I have always had a fake tree and I would love to have one could keep up all year and decorate for each month... LOL 😂 I think it would be cute..
