My cruise control stops wkrking when i hit a small bump. When I pull up on the brake pedal, it works fine. I need to adjust this switch or the brake pedal. Should be a simple fix.
Did you figure out what was causing this. I can tap on the brake fast a couple times and 3rd brake light very dim but sometimes it will be normal bright. I ordered new 3rd brake light but not sure if that's the correct problem or not. Did you find a solution. Thanks.
@@wakesirss I removed and cleaned mine it has something that you can turn left or right to go out or in. You just need to clean it and check in what position works fine.
Man thanks for this comment!!!! I bought the part and both old and new part worked...sat down and scratched my head and saw this...exact same problem! Solved with a small rubber piece found in the toolbox.
Question my cars lights stay on what could it be and when I went to AutoZone I baught the brake light switch but it didn't cost me with the plastic part need help ASAP
Not 100 % if that car has a relay or if it runs to the bcm then to the lights sorry i dont have your answer but if has relay it could be bad and stuck open Or could have bad relay driver in bcm Also check with a good scan tool that can do commands
The next question is does it affect the shifter also?

How about if NONE of my rear lights work? Brake lights,rear lights etc.
Check fuses if all ok , check bulbs if ok replace switch

@@wakesirss the third brake light on car i was working on was doing same thing id start with the $10 switch before the light 👍🏼

Bruh I bought the part but the issue was the rubber piece that pushed the button in It fell off 🤣

So how do you take off the wing nut
It has two tabs on back side you have to depress and push out
2007 one n lights dont turn off after shut veh off. Is this the problem??
