Rest In Piece Daisuke Goro. His voice lent a lot of menace and power to characters like Heihachi and Bask Om from Zeta Gundam. Same with Unshou Ishizuka. Master class, both of them. And both taken from the Earth way too soon.
I don't think he was ever a hero. Maybe anti hero but a main character wanting revenge for his dad all his life, killing his mom at a young age and sealing his grandpa away, succeeding in defeating him would lead to bad things. Especially if he has the devil inside him. Devil was established in the first game looking like Star Platinum.
Those moments in T7 that he fought Devil Kazuya as a pure old man who lacked devil genes and he still pulled off that blue aura fight Kazuya through last of his breath o o.
