I really like the ibis paint one, the shading and the coloring is so smooth but also the hard edges add so much more detail to it, it feels more put together in comparison to the Medibang one (which is still amazing)
Aw thanks for sharing your thoughts with me! I really didn't expect this since I was so much quicker with medi bang paint..maybe that's the point. Ibis paint was so new to me and different from what I used to that it required a different way of working :)
In ibisPaint there is a way to draw straight lines (and circles, squares, triangles, and other polygons) without the rulers. If you press the finger icon, you'll see a section that says "Drawing Tool". Under that there are various types of lines and shapes you can do. You can even choose whether the shapes fill themselves with the color you're using, a set color, or not at all.
Ohh now I get it! Okay this makes actually a lot of sense. I made it work the complicated way but that's actually a good point. I will definitely try this next time. Thanks for your comment 🙇♂️
as an ibis paint user, i was really excited to watch this video when i saw it in my recommended, especially since you're an artist i admire. but in general, i love to see other artists experiencing ibis paint for the first time. it makes me feel such joy and pride, i hope you'll use it again in the future, that is if you genuinely enjoyed it ! also, to avoid curved lines when trying to draw straight, press the "☝️" icon and increase the stabilizer.
I thanks! Testing new art apps is always so exciting and I definitely love a lot of features ibis paints offers. I think the curved lines were a bug since they only occurred at a certain part of the canvas at a certain zoom level. I appreciate your feedback though!
I'm a medibang user (on ipad)! So i don't know if everything applies to the android version ;v; Here's a few things i know, - there is reference window! It should be in the top right corner. (which I notice you don't have it?) - Brushes might not get bigger than 500px but you see that square right next to the bucket tool? That's how u fill in big areas! Only downside is that it's a square shape. - The selection tool is kinda wonky, but if you click on it again you'll get the option to customize it so you don't have to fill in the white areas. (this can go for a few of the tools actually!)

Its really satisfying to see you do a speed paint in ibispaint as it also helps me understand better on how you render, sketch and color which is helpful but it's really nice to see you use it!
That's awesome to hear! Thank you :) while these apps have inbuilt recording mechanisms I still think it's nicer to see the interface and actual working area. So I am glad you like it 😌
The ibis paint is definitely the best, the pose and overall composition is a 10/10, also the rendering looks way better. Also the fact that you just kept going after medibang crashed is really inspiring, I would have breakdown and cried if that happened to me 😅
I've always been a fan of medibang paint and have been using the pro version (desktop) for a few years now. seeing this video makes me wanna see how ill feel using the mobile version lol. also, this is making me wanna revisit ibis. It's been a while and I heard they added an animation feature that I wanted to try! :))
Personally, I think both of your artwork is beautiful regardless of the apps. I started digital art with Ibispaint but then ended up using MediBang on my desktop. So, watching you try these 2 apps out makes me glad since I can get to know how you apply your techniques in the apps I'm familiar with. Thank you for another amazing video. One more thing, I can feel you so bad when MediBang glitched and closed the app during the process, that happened to me before so many times. 😅 Never forget to save it every now and then.
Omg the crash was so frustrating but luckily it made a lot of recovery files which is nice. Csp does the same but it really slows down my laptop. The desktop version of medi bang is actually pretty good! I like the classical layout and interface and ofc you can use shortcuts. Sadly the app for mobile devices isn't that intuitive ^^'
2:09 you can do pretty much exactly that if you click on the finger icon in-between the dotted box and the ruler. There's an option that says line, and it's pretty much just what you were looking for
I've been following you for a while now on Twitter and I can't really say why, but your videos and drawings always make me feel like all I need to do is pick up a pen (be it digital or physical) and create the most beautiful artworks. I haven't felt the urge to create something of my own for a long time, but you are such a huge inspiration that it tickles my lazy fingers. Very very few artists I follow trigger this feeling and I see/consume hundreds of images every day. You are one of the most unique artists I know who deserve all the positive encouragement and support a person can get. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your content ♥ And please excuse me if it sounds too cheesy, but sometimes it has to be said. Vielen Vielen Lieben Dank 💚💛💜❤💙
Oh wow Dankeschön! This makes me absolutely happy to hear. Being able to provide helpful and motivating content and encouraging others to pick up a pen is all I want to achieve with my videos! I love this idea of motivating each other and being creative side by side like this. Thanks a lot for letting me know ☺️
as someone who used medibang but then stuck with ibispaint, seeing this video brought back my frustration with medibang. not to mention, the quality of when i exported a drawing on medibang was absolute garbage 😭. i do admire folks who can not only draw well but get good quality with medibang.
Thank you! Yeah I didn't want to draw the exact same pose right after another so I drew it like he took is mask off or so haha Thanks for your feedback :)
The IbisPaint one looked the most visually appealing to me. The painting, colors, and edge control just look insane. I primarily used to use IbisPaint too, and I loved it, though CSP just has so much more to offer. You did an incredible job with all of them, and this just shows how skilled you are in your craft💖💖
Oh gosh thanks for this wonderful and encouraging comment! I do agree! The ibis paint one is more thoughtful when it comes to rendering I guess. But true, clip studio has so much more to offer. In general a setup with a computer makes a huge difference but for a mobile version ibis paint is one of the best 😌
I'm pretty new to your channel, but I was really happy when you got to use ibispaintx! Very encouraging for someone like me who uses it too ^^ Thank you so much for sharing your drawing journey with us! You rock✨️
So you forgot about something A STABILIZER so you were trying to draw a straight line and didn’t know what the problem was it was the stabilizer click the pressing hand and turn that stabilizer up
I want to say the same...but I am Ibis user through and through..so I am biased..but also the colouring on the other ones meaning the skin is more whitey but on the Ibis one it is more reddish and more saturated... that's why it was more eye catching I think
For Ibis paint x you don't need to select everything pice by piece... You can go to setting and turn off gap recognition so it only selects the line area and doesn't assume different parts of the canvas... Also I don't know if you meant the clipping mask... But you can find the clipping mask on the layer menu.. Lower side, near the alpha lock button.... That arrow will clip your current layer to the layer below it.... And for a not too hard and not too soft brush... Try using the "Pen (fade)" brush on lower opacity
Because you have an extraordinary talent, you were able to use both applications effectively and practically. Congratulations, it was a pleasure to see you on my fyp. I will always be here to see you at your best.
I absolutely adored the desktop version of it and I think it's such an underrated app over all, so of course this needs to get introduced to more people :) Thanks for your comment!
you're such wholesome and nice content creator, and it's really nice to watch your vids. They bring me the sense of comfort and inspiration instead of jealousy like other content creators give, for some reason. i think your speedpaints are also really educational
Got recommended, and I love how your drawing in ibis paint. It's my first time saw your channel and I definitely love your art . Hope you make more art from ibis paint ❤.
I like both of the drawings, although i prefer Ibis paint because that was my main app for years, and it's really good! I also love watching you render the piece, especially the hair. It's really pretty! ✨️
@@kurohshiro In my experience i think ibis is more simple and suitable for mobile users, the UI is understandable and easy to learn. Csp instead is great in PC, it has a lot of features and is a great art program for artists who have been in the industry for quite a time, if you are a newbie I recommend something simpler like medibang or krita.
Oh wow favourite artist... I am flattered 🙇♂️ I have to draw more with Ibis paint. I barely know what I am doing tbh ^^' but once figured I'll definitely share more of my process with it :)
Uh oh underrated opinion, as much as I think ibis is definitely the superior program, I absolutely 100% prefer the final medibang piece. As an experienced artist myself, I have both objective and subjective thoughts on it. (This isn't critique btw just further explaining my adoration.) I'm personally biased towards rougher or sharper rendering compared to smooth, because it's similar to what I do and I don't get to see it a lot. And I believe people who do it so well deserve so much respect! And in terms of color, in my opinion, it pops out more due to the distinct contrasts, the pop of warm colors against the pale skin is one of my favorite stylistic choices. That and seeing distinct borders of color and shading make it appear more intricate, giving the impression that they are carefully placed to balance everything. As opposed to constant smooth blending that there is little room for error as it'd be barely noticeable after mixing (This is my own preference btw, no offense given!). The choreography of the hands are very dynamic and it portrays mystery, as it covers half the face. I always love it when hands are positioned near the face, since that's the sole thing people automatically look at in an artwork, hence the nicely drawn hands were also given spotlight! Anyways, didn't mean to yap, blame my adhd, but sincerely- job well done!!! ❤
Oh wow thanks for your indepth explanation on that! I actually think the same. While I like the pose more in the ibis paint side I wasn't able to achieve the sharper look of my rendering over there because either the brushes were too sharp or blend everything together. The rendering was easier in medi bang for this reason. I really need to take a look at ibis paints brushes again and find the right ones or make more custom ones :) Thanks for letting me know! :)
@@kurohshiro Oh my you actually took the time to read my ancient scroll of a comment, but I’m happy to know you hold similar preferences! To be completely honest, I rarely use ibis since I work mainly on pc. For a free app it has a lot of functions but easy-use design. Though I have my own gripes with it (mainly pen pressure), and I definitely agree rendering in it is rather taxing. Overall, you certainly made it look great! ^0^
I agree with you, ibis got so much easier when it comes for beginner, its really easy to find a tool. Anyway, i really like both of them, they all looks amazing!!!
I agree! Getting into it feels so much more streamline and easier. That's what makes a good app. The app can be good af but when it's just not intuitive to use you never will get to the point where you can actually make full use of it which is sad.
This is the first time I see one of your videos and I already pressed the suscribe button. I really like ur drawings! And I think the best one is the Ibis Paint X one. It looks so smooth. But the three drawings are gorgeous, keep the good work!! 😼
Ahww thanks! I was very sad that i wasn't able to do this in medi bang paint since the brushes where too small but dropping in some colour after the nasty line art part is done is such a reward haha
My favorite was the one made in Ibispaint! But maybe I am a little biased, since that's the app I use too lol. All drawings look really good regardless
i used to use medibang a lot but now they’ve updated it to a newer version, plus controls are kind of hard to understand. so i use ibis paint now i’d say it’s easier to use for beginners :)
as someone who had tried both I'd recommend Ibis to anyone more inclined to draw on tablets, where they'd usually "upgrade" to more minimal interface app like Procreate, while I'd say Medibang is more for someone who plans to use desktop in the future. It would be easier to make a jump like Medibang mobile ver to Medibang desktop ver to more robust programs like CSP, Photoshop, or Illustrator (a jump I made personally). And even if they don't plan to "upgrade", it's still good on its own. It has more or less the same tools as paid programs, albeit the barebone version of it, so it'd be a good way to ease someone into digital art on desktop :]
I agree with you on that! Even though I think the desktop version of Medi Bang is way better than its mobile version. And I think you can adapt to 2 sorts of mediums, so I love to use apps which are tailored towards a mobile device like Procreate or Ibis Paint. But you're right, it might be easier to make the jump to other programs.
2:07 there is actual something thats can do the same thing, if you click the hand button on the top right of your screen, press it and you'll see a section that says drawing tools, you can use it with any brush and if you want you can also turn on the stabilizer
Oh okay! I really need to take a look at this again. I thought it was a bug in a specific area on my screen at a specific level of zoom. Thanks for your advice :)
i wanna eat ur art sm theyre sooo gorgeous .... im an ibis user and seeing one of my fav artists working with ibis is kind of ... refreshing (eye opening in a very positive way) i love to see ur process!!!
I feel like the ibis one is more saturated that's why most think that's the one thats better. But when you actually look at it, the Medi bang ones are better. The body and color compositions are outstanding in the Medi bang ones. Lovely work (also he looks damn handsome, why ain't no one talking abt it).
7:18 okk, then I have 2 pieces of knowledge about the bucket tool and the magic wand that might be for you! :D - To make the bucket tool and the selection tool work more smoothly, you need to turn off the thing called "gap recognition". - To fill the entire color base layer, you don't need to turn off your lineart! Click on the ⚙️ of the bucket, and then, in the reference layer section, select "current layer". This also applies to the magic wand. I hope that these will help you! ^^
For the first timer... you are amazing, I like both results since they have slightly different poses ❤️ I love how you use the color, and doing soft-hard edge manually, kinda, that's very informative. I'm a medibang user, because... it's friendly for my limited device. What brushes are you using here? I noticed mapping pen, air brush soft, watercolor... I usually only use pen, pen sharp, watercolor, airbrush, those are all Medibang can make your drawing clean really, but I need texture too 😢 it's kinda difficult to make the background (wall), looks flat And yeah I kinda clean the surface manually. There is a setting for expansion, I only use it 1 px cause my line art is uneven and clean the rest Right, for selection tool, I usually make sure the line art closing the gap, at least the outer part, so you can just select on the outside of character with magic wand and inverse it Sorry for the long comment and thank you for the video
I've been using free medibang paint XD it's so nice when I see u use it. As a beginner, seeing this awesome art on the app I've been using is just 'WOWOWWWWW' XD
This may seem like a small thing but I actually think it's really impressive to be able to draw in your style in multiple different types of drawing programs! I typically draw in Clip Studio, and I think I've become so used to using it that my quality in being able to draw in something like Photoshop just falls off completely to the point that I struggle to even draw straight lines, much less something that resembles my usual style. I don't know why I'm so bad at adapting to other programs, so this video was really motivating! I like all three of the final illustrations 😊If I had to pick one, I think I lean towards the Ibis Paint because the colors somehow look a little more vibrant and I'm really drawn to it. But I really like the pose for Medibang, too!
Aw thanks for letting me know your thoughts^^ Yeah, I usually don't do this, having to work with multiple programs isn't necessary at all when you have one you really enjoy working. And I agree, other programs can have influence on the style. i noticed this when I switched from Sai to CSP. But it's just a matter of time to adapt to the new tools and sooner or later your style comes through because you have to find ways to make it work for you :) I wish you all the best^^
Ibis paint is the closest thing to clip studio paint and so I got used to it fairly quick and the stabilizer is really good. Color wise I either used water color, airbrush or make a custom brush
All of them look amazing!!💕 If I have to choose tho' I think Ibis paint one looks the best! The color and render look more harmonized than the other two in my opinion.
You did really well using ipis paint x. You used the brushes right you know how to use the technics. You knew how to adapt with it. Not all artists try the brushes before they start. They just draw that's why some of them struggles and thinks that digital art is hard. For me I'm using ipis paint for 5 years and I still don't know how to make it like your style. Like I want to draw in your style so bad but I don't know how. You did awesome job. Your video is great as always. I enjoyed it so much😂💖🎀✨️
Oh wow that such a sweet comment. Thank you so much for your praise. I know what kind of brushes I use in Clip Studio so I was just looking to find the dupes in ibis paint. But honesty this app has so much to offer on its own which is really cool, like all the special effects and patterns I didn't touch at all. Definitely worth a deeper look :)
take a pic of their art, load it into ibis paint as reference, and trace over it using ethan becker's techniques. Try to study the composition and anatomy cuz honestly their art has me simping as welll
i think you should try to watch an ibis paint guide, since theres a lot of things you mentioned that has the features. well, its a first time experience so thats okay!
I will definitely do this! This was a first impression and I was curious to see what I can do without diving deeper into the details of all the features. But for the next attempt I'll try to make my work flow more smooth by watching some guides :)
That's amazing to hear! Thanks for letting me know :) what exactly do you mean with video layout if may ask? I hope to incorporate it more often in my future videos :)
Please test Krita(free) on the Magic Drawing Pad, I beg you for this, you are using this drawing potential that I am striving for, and I am very interested in how Krita will behave on this device😭🙏
Im going to buy a tab s9 but I didnt know that procreate only works ıos. Im a little upset because of this. And confused whic art app is better etc. Now ibis paint is looking so good. Tysm
i'm sad everyone says the art from ibispaint is better... i love the medibang more especially because i love cool tone or grayish colors and i use them too! It's definitely my favorite
Oh thanks for letting me know! I like the colours in medi bang as well :) The pose was just better in ibis paint. But i think that only shows how a pose can influence the overall appearance of a drawing.
Ohh OK! That's wonderful ^^ I heard someone say "when you ask if medi bang paint has this feature it usually has it but it's hidden somewhere" so I guess I just want able to find it but that's handy to know! Thank you :)
I really love your style, im so bad right now but I hope to be as good as you one day 😭 Ibis paint is really good, ive only been able to draw with my finger but recently got a screen-less tablet and clip studio for my computer! So im learning there and traditional.
Oh wow, finger and phone, that's my end boss and I am always impressed when people can make this work. So a screen-less tablet is actually very nice! That was my first set up and really served me well over a long time :) Have fun exploring!
Hi! I use Medibang paint and I like it more than Ibis Paint. I used both but for me Medibang is more intuitive to use than Ibis but this can be because I am more used to one than the other. About when it crashes... God, it is so frustrating and the last backup can be ten minutes ago ;A; I think it happens on mobile devices but didn't happen to me on the computer. I would like to try Ibis but I feel the canvas has low resolution and I always forget where the options are. Anyways, thanks for the video and waos your art style is so good ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡
Ibis Paint is good but the only reason I didn't choose it was because of the Layer Window. Man, Just give us an option where layers always show. I hate clicking the layer panel just to show what layer I'm currently in. Infinite painter gave me an option where the layers are always on the right side of the screen. "THIS IS ONLY GOOD FOR TABLETS because of the bigger screen btw"
Ah yeah, I understand what you mean, I had the same issue with the brushes and the colour wheel. I mean, sure the working area is bigger and cleaner that way but somehow other apps can make it work as well. I never checked Infinite Painter, i definitely have to take a look at this^^
I LOVE ibis paint because it was the first app I used to attempt drawing digitally, and I never really had any problems with it. What's upsetting is that there's a 1 hour usage limit on pc T-T
Hello🤗 in ibis app, may i know how you tuned your brush to make it seem like ink-ish and darkened? I noticed the default one for mechanical pencil and pencil 2 is very blurry and grey-ish. But your brush looks really pretty 😍😍😍
Ibis is probably the only usable program for non-ios tablets. I have samsung and xiaomi tablets, they have pretty good styluses, and yet I still couldn’t get used to the pressure. The lines end too abruptly and look harsh regardless of the settings, it's just terrible :(( But on this tablet your lines look much smoother, wow. Although this is to be expected from xppen, so this is perhaps the best choice for drawing in the absence of other options
Right now I can just draw a comparison with an iPad and my usual setup but I heard a lot of similar things. The ipad is great. Xp pens new tablet is equally good but no ios which is one key element of why it's such a nice experience to draw with ipads. There's an app called hipaint which is a Procreate dupe for android. Still haven't tested it though. I also heard that Samsung devices are the closed to an iPad when it comes to the drawing experience
@@kurohshiro yep, samsung is really good on its own, however the whole problem is the software, procreate is obviously made better than other programs. I haven't heard about hipaint, will have to give it a try, thank you! upd: I tried it out and it's indeed a very good app! I have no idea how I could have overlooked it.
drop a tutorial on your hands pleaseeeeeee It's so good! I personally prefer using procreate. It's not really the best comparison since you drew in Procreate in 2021 and on Ibis Paint + Medibang in 2024. Will say that while procreate may seem like it has less features overall, compared to ibis paint, it's a much more relaxing drawing experience. Ibis has a lot of features, but the brush quality is actually pretty low. Plus, you can't really create your own brushes. Your art was best on ibis paint, tho I'm biased because eye contact is hot ngl. The colors also pop more. On ibis paint, there's a selection layer that's actually pretty useful and similar to csp selection tool. ibis and clip studio are pretty damn similar, but the difference between them is also pretty clear cuz ibis pain just overwhelms you with features.
Hands. Noticed! Thanks for the suggestion :) I agree with you. And I think Procreate has so much depth it's just hidden behind clever gestures and a superb interface and user experience. So I really appreciate this workflow. Sure IbisPaint is great for Webtoons, Comics, Manga illustrations etc. but it's so packed with features which make me feel a bit lost. Nevertheless once I get used to apps I can make them work somehow^^ Thanks for the advice! I have to take a closer look at the selection tool again^^
@@kurohshiroI'm so happy you liked my suggestion! On that note, do you have any Spotify or YT playlist for all the music you use in your videos? They're just so calming and melodious, I love them.

when i was little i'd use medibang but i couldnt understand much of the tools and it was difficult to remember the bruushes bc there were no pictures. and it lagged too when i tried increasing the brush size. now i use ibis paint and 've made a decent amount of art these past months
That's great to hear! I know many people say the tool doesn't make the art but in this case a easier to use app and an enjoyable process is such a game changer and in the end that's what makes the art process fun and therefore the art better.
Hi I loved your art so much! I will be using this drawing as reference for my new drawing, but dont worry I wont post it as its only study:D… Can I also ask what is that static effect thing that you used at the end of your drawing in Ibispaint?☺️

Yeah lol but I appreciate people who are able to make clean art with a tablet or iPad. Or even phone. What the heck is that magic haha
Love them both, I guess I prefer the pose on Ibispaint app but all the renders are cool :)
Thank you! Yeah I didn't want to draw the exact same pose right after another so I drew it like he took is mask off or so haha Thanks for your feedback :)
You can adjust the stabilization of your lines in the tap icon in the upper right
The IbisPaint one looked the most visually appealing to me.
You rock✨️
Ahh thank you! Glad you like it 😌 I want to use this app more often! I saw it being hyped everywhere so ofc I had to test it here as well^^
You've created many great illustrations! The reason these pictures are so good is not just the choice of tools, but rather the skill of the artist.😆
So you forgot about something A STABILIZER so you were trying to draw a straight line and didn’t know what the problem was it was the stabilizer click the pressing hand and turn that stabilizer up
i find the ibis paints colouring more eye catching.
Thanks for letting me know! It honestly was a bit easier in Ibis Paint
I want to say the same...but I am Ibis user through and through..so I am biased..but also the colouring on the other ones meaning the skin is more whitey but on the Ibis one it is more reddish and more saturated... that's why it was more eye catching I think
Big oofie! I can feel the struggle in the medibang as a spectator and as a artist too. But oh boy, you still did amazing *chef's kiss*
gosh thanks for your praise! TwT
I love seeing how you go through your process. You make really beautiful illustrations and character art.
I am happy to hear, thank you very much :)
Ever since I stumble upon your channel, you've bring me the motivation to be back on drawing
Ah thank you for your comment.i am glad I did a decent job there :)
Medibang user here! I am very surprised you actually tried it out :o, u might be the first person that is reviewing medibang
I absolutely adored the desktop version of it and I think it's such an underrated app over all, so of course this needs to get introduced to more people :) Thanks for your comment!
You're welcome! And keep going with your art, you have inspired and are still inspiring many people :D
Lmao help I am at school while watching your vids 😭😭😭
you're such wholesome and nice content creator, and it's really nice to watch your vids. They bring me the sense of comfort and inspiration instead of jealousy like other content creators give, for some reason.
i think your speedpaints are also really educational
Oh wow, that's wonderful to hear and really motivates me to keep doing what I am doing. Thanks for your kind comment :3
Got recommended, and I love how your drawing in ibis paint. It's my first time saw your channel and I definitely love your art . Hope you make more art from ibis paint ❤.
Oh hello and welcome! That's amazing to hear ^^ I definitely want to make more art with this app!:)
I like both of the drawings, although i prefer Ibis paint because that was my main app for years, and it's really good! I also love watching you render the piece, especially the hair. It's really pretty! ✨️
hair is the most fun tbh, so thanks! Also Thanks for your comment :3
I really love your drawings theyre gorgeous, you have made me more motivated 2 draw 🙃
I am glad to hear :)
Ibispaint was is my favorite! I used to draw on ibispaint for short period before switching to csp.
Glad I came here to see ur cool artwork ✨️
Thank you!! Is csp for the mobile devices a more pleasant experience than ibispaint?
@@kurohshiro In my experience i think ibis is more simple and suitable for mobile users, the UI is understandable and easy to learn. Csp instead is great in PC, it has a lot of features and is a great art program for artists who have been in the industry for quite a time, if you are a newbie I recommend something simpler like medibang or krita.
@hiroI find it much easier. and the new interface give u more space to work with. it just my preference
It's great to see a favorite artist testing ibis paint! It would be cool if you do a tutorial in how to paint in ibis paint!
Oh wow favourite artist... I am flattered 🙇♂️ I have to draw more with Ibis paint. I barely know what I am doing tbh ^^' but once figured I'll definitely share more of my process with it :)
@@kurohshiro Thanks for their response! It's alright! Every process takes their time! I'll looking forward to it in a future!
Uh oh underrated opinion, as much as I think ibis is definitely the superior program, I absolutely 100% prefer the final medibang piece. As an experienced artist myself, I have both objective and subjective thoughts on it. (This isn't critique btw just further explaining my adoration.)
I'm personally biased towards rougher or sharper rendering compared to smooth, because it's similar to what I do and I don't get to see it a lot.
I really need to take a look at ibis paints brushes again and find the right ones or make more custom ones :)
Thanks for letting me know!
How am I not supposed to love your style if it is marvelous? ❤❤❤
This is the first time I see one of your videos and I already pressed the suscribe button. I really like ur drawings!
And I think the best one is the Ibis Paint X one. It looks so smooth.
But the three drawings are gorgeous, keep the good work!! 😼
Oh that's great to hear! Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts :)
The rough color is always so good looking on its own and then you blow me away with the rendering.
Ahww thanks! I was very sad that i wasn't able to do this in medi bang paint since the brushes where too small but dropping in some colour after the nasty line art part is done is such a reward haha
Wow this is... absolutely beautiful
Ah I'm so happy that you enjoyed using ibis too! Loved your art❤️
Ahh thank you!
My favorite was the one made in Ibispaint! But maybe I am a little biased, since that's the app I use too lol. All drawings look really good regardless
Thank you! I liked this one as well actually ^^
The procreate one seems so dreamy I love it
i used to use medibang a lot but now they’ve updated it to a newer version, plus controls are kind of hard to understand.
so i use ibis paint now i’d say it’s easier to use for beginners :)
as someone who had tried both I'd recommend Ibis to anyone more inclined to draw on tablets, where they'd usually "upgrade" to more minimal interface app like Procreate, while I'd say Medibang is more for someone who plans to use desktop in the future.
Your art is impeccable, I love it so much!! 😩❤
I love all of them, I adore your art-style and hope to achieve the goal of finishing my art and making masterpieces like you!
Aw thanks I appreciate this!
Da para notar que o Ibispaint teve um carinho a mais adicionado ao desenho.
Mas os outros 2 também estão lindos!
Literally wow 😮💜
i wanna eat ur art sm theyre sooo gorgeous .... im an ibis user and seeing one of my fav artists working with ibis is kind of ... refreshing (eye opening in a very positive way) i love to see ur process!!!
Aw thanks! I am glad you like it ☺️
omg!! im so early to watch this!! i just want to say u inspire me so much ur one of my favorite artist ^^
Oh wow thank you! Hope you have fun watching it :3
I feel like the ibis one is more saturated that's why most think that's the one thats better. But when you actually look at it, the Medi bang ones are better. The body and color compositions are outstanding in the Medi bang ones. Lovely work (also he looks damn handsome, why ain't no one talking abt it).
Thank you for your feedback! I can see what you mean^^ And thanks for liking this OC. Hes actually the one from my banner and profile picture lol
Central! Central is so warm and peaceful.
7:18 okk, then I have 2 pieces of knowledge about the bucket tool and the magic wand that might be for you! :D
- To make the bucket tool and the selection tool work more smoothly, you need to turn off the thing called "gap recognition".
- To fill the entire color base layer, you don't need to turn off your lineart! Click on the ⚙️ of the bucket, and then, in the reference layer section, select "current layer". This also applies to the magic wand.
I hope that these will help you! ^^
I really love your beautiful artworks! ❤
Thank you so much!
For the first timer... you are amazing, I like both results since they have slightly different poses ❤️
I love how you use the color, and doing soft-hard edge manually, kinda, that's very informative.
I'm a medibang user, because... it's friendly for my limited device. What brushes are you using here? I noticed mapping pen, air brush soft, watercolor...
I usually only use pen, pen sharp, watercolor, airbrush, those are all
Medibang can make your drawing clean really, but I need texture too 😢 it's kinda difficult to make the background (wall), looks flat
And yeah I kinda clean the surface manually. There is a setting for expansion, I only use it 1 px cause my line art is uneven and clean the rest
Right, for selection tool, I usually make sure the line art closing the gap, at least the outer part, so you can just select on the outside of character with magic wand and inverse it
Sorry for the long comment and thank you for the video
I've been using free medibang paint XD it's so nice when I see u use it. As a beginner, seeing this awesome art on the app I've been using is just 'WOWOWWWWW' XD
this is amazing! I do wonder if you could make a tutorial on how you blend colors? how you make soft edges out of hard edges, ect?
You're so damn good! I'm comfortable with Ibis paint. It can do moving animation too! ❤
i love your art and the bg music that you used ❤
This may seem like a small thing but I actually think it's really impressive to be able to draw in your style in multiple different types of drawing programs!
Aw thanks for letting me know your thoughts^^
Yeah, I usually don't do this, having to work with multiple programs isn't necessary at all when you have one you really enjoy working.
I like to use infinite painter(can be use for complete work) and concepts app(mainly for sketches).
All of them look amazing!!💕 If I have to choose tho' I think Ibis paint one looks the best! The color and render look more harmonized than the other two in my opinion.
I see! Thanks for letting me know :)
wow all the results were amazing!! new fan here ❤ pls make a procreate video as well!
Awesome!!! so great video really like your art
Thanks a lot 😌 I am glad!
@@UrLocalMultiStan1 I'm really great at anatomy. But I struggle with coloring I end up coloring with another style😂
art on mobile is so hard 😭and you make it look easy you drawings are sooo good!!❤
ahh I agree! I was so happy switching back to my laptop haha but nevertheless i want to experiment more with ibis paint^^
i think you should try to watch an ibis paint guide, since theres a lot of things you mentioned that has the features. well, its a first time experience so thats okay!
I will definitely do this! This was a first impression and I was curious to see what I can do without diving deeper into the details of all the features. But for the next attempt I'll try to make my work flow more smooth by watching some guides :)
@@kurohshiro nice!
You never fail to amazing me! You are my top 3 favorite TH-camrs and i love your videos so much! Remember to take breaks and have a good day! ❤
Oh wow, thank you! I really appreciate your words, also thanks for keep reminding me on breaks :)
I will keep trying to remind you! So that you keep thinking about it :)
Sorry for late response 😅
i really liked this new video layout! you're trying something new with editing and i thought it worked really, really well! great video :))
Tysm
I love your art. It's inspiring, someday like you.
i'm sad everyone says the art from ibispaint is better... i love the medibang more especially because i love cool tone or grayish colors and i use them too! It's definitely my favorite
Ibis paint user here but I agree
Oh thanks for letting me know! I like the colours in medi bang as well :) The pose was just better in ibis paint. But i think that only shows how a pose can influence the overall appearance of a drawing.
theres a reference function in medibang! u can open it in tools and the window will pop up, on mobile/pad tho it might be different
Ohh OK! That's wonderful ^^ I heard someone say "when you ask if medi bang paint has this feature it usually has it but it's hidden somewhere" so I guess I just want able to find it but that's handy to know! Thank you :)
@@kurohshiro that person is completely correct can confirm 😅😂
Personally i like ibispaint for the drawing line art/sketching and easy layout but medibang for the coloring.
I really love your style, im so bad right now but I hope to be as good as you one day 😭
Ibis paint is really good, ive only been able to draw with my finger but recently got a screen-less tablet and clip studio for my computer! So im learning there and traditional.
Oh wow, finger and phone, that's my end boss and I am always impressed when people can make this work. So a screen-less tablet is actually very nice! That was my first set up and really served me well over a long time :) Have fun exploring!
@@kurohshiro Thanks!
I got used to fingers now but after using the tablet I never want to draw on my phone again xD
please try krita also 🙏
the 3th drawing is my fav:3
I really love your arts! 🥰🥰🥰
Aw thank you!
NEED💥MORE 💥HANDCAMS💥
Will work on this
OMG THEY TRIED IBISPAINT YESSS
It really do be the talent and not the drawing software or hardware, this is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
Ahh I feel flattered! Thank you :)
I never checked Infinite Painter, i definitely have to take a look at this^^
i like the ibis one >
The lines end too abruptly and look harsh regardless of the settings, it's just terrible :((
But on this tablet your lines look much smoother, wow.
I love your hands
Haha thanks a lot 😅
Either way, your drawing was great 👌💓I draw on Ibis Paint using my finger too Haha 👌😭
drop a tutorial on your hands pleaseeeeeee
It's so good!
Hands. Noticed! Thanks for the suggestion :)
I agree with you. Nevertheless once I get used to apps I can make them work somehow^^
Thanks for the advice! I have to take a closer look at the selection tool again^^
@@kurohshiroI'm so happy you liked my suggestion! On that note, do you have any Spotify or YT playlist for all the music you use in your videos? They're just so calming and melodious, I love them.
O M G, I rlly like your art, it's beautiful!, btw, I want to make a fanart of your OC, hoe can I send it to you when I finish it? (Sorry for my bad Eng :} ) New sub!
Can you make a tutorial on how to coloring like you done in ibispaint?
when i was little i'd use medibang but i couldnt understand much of the tools and it was difficult to remember the bruushes bc there were no pictures. and it lagged too when i tried increasing the brush size. now i use ibis paint and 've made a decent amount of art these past months
That's great to hear! I know many people say the tool doesn't make the art but in this case a easier to use app and an enjoyable process is such a game changer and in the end that's what makes the art process fun and therefore the art better.
Hi I loved your art so much! I will be using this drawing as reference for my new drawing, but dont worry I wont post it as its only study:D…
Can I also ask what is that static effect thing that you used at the end of your drawing in Ibispaint?☺️
Hi Im early!! I love your videos and art!! 💕
Thank you 😊
