    The Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid mattress is a 13″ hybrid that uses a blend of poly foam comfort materials combined with a coil support unit.This mattress is available in two firmness levels-soft and firm. The firm version has a firmness of 8 out of 10 and the soft version is estimated to be a 5 out of 10, where 10 is the most firm.We tested the firm version, which has very minimal sinkage and a moderate level of bounce. If you’re looking for a deeper contour (or are a lightweight sleeper), the soft version would likely be better suited to you.In our performance tests, the Posturepedic Hybrid did not impress, scoring in the bottom 4% of all hybrids tested to date. In our tests we found it to be notably warm, with poor pressure relief and less than great motion transfer. In our view, there are numerous better hybrids on the market at this price point.

    Nice review! I thought the Sealy Brenham *PLUS* Hybrid (soft version) felt good for side sleeping and also had surprisingly good support for back sleeping for a soft version. The Serta iSeries wasn't bad either.

      Nice! Glad that mattress is working out well for you.
      I'll have to see if we can test that one in the future.

    Do you think the firm version would be more comfortable for someone that’s 6’3 and 290?
    Looking at a Sealy hybrid “Lacey”. It’s 13” firm mattress. Figured I could add a topper if needed.
    Side and back sleeper.

      I don't.
      Performance on this mattress was extremely disappointing. It's hard to imagine the firm version being any better.

    This vs the Brenan at $1,500 more? Is it worth it? And for back sleeper, lower back pain, should i get the soft or hard?

      Unfortunately, I haven't tested the Brenan. I'm not sure how it would compare.
      Most back sleepers (and sleepers in general) should go with a medium-firm feel.

    I need to get a new mattress for medical reasons and need to have it lower to the floor. I am 5’0” tall, 166 lbs., 77 yo. I sleep on my side, and move a lot during sleep. I am moving from a twin to a full. Budget is a consideration. I have been researching so many and still feel confused. Hopefully you can recommend what would be a good choice.

      Take a look at the Floyd bed - floydhome.com/products/the-bed-frame?variant=36971988156578
      This is a very low frame / foundation and it's what we use for testing / in this video.

    Do you think this better or worse than the Ridge Crest from Costco for someone with low back probs?

      @NapLabReviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      About the same. Both of these mattresses left much to be desired based on our testing. I wouldn't recommend either for those with back problems.
