Hi, my radio is not picking up any radio station. Antenna connected. But there is a small cable labeled as antenna that I saw somewhere else that has to be connected to a 12v. Did you have any issues, any ideas? Thank you.
Make sure all your connections are connected. I have haven’t had any issues. Mine was 100 percent plug and play everything plugged in. Make sure your antenna is pushed all the way into the radio

hey there, I sold the car a little while ago. while I had the vehilcle I did love the radio.. It worked well for me.. I know some people have mixed reviews but it worked awesome .

I just leave them there for phone usage, but I actually soldered one of my glovebox usbs to the factory one and it does work.

How do you change the temp degrees from celsius to Fahrenheit? I have tried through the unit and through a launcher app, and it will not change. I love the radio but this is a real pain.

Hello I got this same radio but my ac connector does not match with the screen hole for the ac. Does that happened to you ?
Yes you only have one plug. That is normal. Match the one plug and then the ac will still work
My update on this radio: it works really good and i actually enjoy it. my only complaint is that the little lights under the buttons on the bottom panel don’t light up so you can’t tell what setting it’s on when you hit it and i can’t control my AC through the touch screen. idk why but it won’t let me.

I did not and I haven’t installed a back up camera yet. I will, I’m just waiting for the body work on the mustang to be finished

i wouls find a good location to place the gps toggle head, and route the wire to the radio

it should as long as you make sure yours had the manual ac
where did you connect the a/c wire harness from the car to the radio. There's has to be a wire conversion harness in order to match both connectors. Please be specific.
if I remember correctly I think the main harness plugged in and it controlled my ac. the main harness of the radio

Honestly mine is plug and play and it works well. I’m not sure why others are having issues. I think it’s just a different radio lol

Have you figured anything out on it yet?
I bought one and have issues with mine.
1. The head unit doesn’t sleep/turn off with the key. It just stays on and drains the battery.
2. My odometer is in kilometers now.
3. HVAC controls are in Celsius.
There is a chance your old radio used to stay on as well, you probably didn’t realize it. You have a parasitic draw somewhere.
The odometer can change back to miles, mine did that when i first bought it. Just play with the info and setup buttons by the drivers door.
HVAC you can play with the Celsius and Fahrenheit in the radio settings
I bought the same radio for my 2014 and I don’t have A/C. Did the little blue plug in fit into your radio? Or am I just having a difficult time for nothing?
the blue plug, honestly I don't remember, ill have to pull my radio out

Sure more functionality, but I doubt this has a better amplifier than the stock unit. I would assume it sounds worse? Also, if you just want to add blue tooth mainly there are bt receivers that plug directly into the aux input that have WAY better sound than the units that play through your FM band.

Mine worked. Maybe you have to change the radio settings and choose another car, mine does not have a mustang option so I had to choose another ford model. I've heard that may also work with some GM settings.
Was yours automatic ac or manual ac. Mine was manual
@@Kingcustomz mine is also a manual a/c, the plug that my car has for the controls does not fit the plug on the back for it.
@@jalonsopots mine is the same as the one in this video but the factory plug for a/c doesn't fit the one on the lower back of the new one for some reason and mine is a manual a/c
U have to select the canbus in settings to ford explorer all buttons will work

You must pull a little bit harder from the cd Player Box. Had the same problem. But be careful
I have one of these installed and it keeps switching to climate control every minute or so.. which makes watching videos on it impossible. Does anyone have the same issue? Any fix for that?
mine does that, but I haven't played with it.. I will look into the settings and get it figured out.. if not I will reach out to the company and find out what Is wrong
You need a manual A/C control version.

You’ll need new speakers. I’d change all the ones in the car.

Hey bro I got the same radio as u before the upgrade is it a auto or manual ac cause I bought 2 saying it's manual cause it's the same set up as urs and the connectors aren't the same for the ac
mine was manual ac, it only has one plug and ill make a shorts on it tomorrow for this radio
@King customz wait I found out it's part of the harness that comes with it and connects down to the bottom part of the radio

@Valentina Birthday it's actually part of the wiring harness I found out on my own... completely ignore the plug from the car for the bottom of the stock radio and use the one fron the wiring harness that comes with the radio.

Strange, maybe a defect in yours. But mind was complete plug and play
Same, but fixed it... You go to settings and look for system settings and enter the password 3368 (check out yours from where you bought it) and choose the car model, if you ddnt find mustang just choose f150. The bottom part and the buttons on the steering wheel should work. If not make sure the cable is connected for the bottom part 👍🏻

The screen doesnt turn on and the Ac keeps blowing hot air and doesnt turn off.
Ok reinstall your old control for the ac, maybe you left it on the on position. Shut of the ac and re plug in your radio and see if everything works correctly now
I had this issue and it’s because my cable wasn’t fully connected into the white box

Chances are your radio may be defective. If it’s the same radio, it was just a simple plug and play no wires cut. But in the manual that comes with the radio, it comes with a wire diagram

@@Kingcustomz ok saw it thank you. Not bad. Having an issue with head units not supporting devices with a lot of gb. I love music. Have over 4tb of music. Most head units won't be able to read devices with more than 1tb

The wires are plug and play. They only go one way. You don’t have to wire up anything.
I just sorted it, u need to show the part where u enter the password to set the programming for the screen and the car to get all the buttons to work, it was easy, the hardest part was to get the rear camera that came with the car to work with the screen, i ddnt use the bew camera however it would be better than the factory one. But honestly great screen really changed ruby (my stang) for me
