I’m afraid that with the 54 i could touch the toe when i carve with that size of boot. And last question,why you find better in powder the caffe racer than the TF. Thank you very much!!!
First off thanks for giving me enough info to try to help here! So tough call between 154 and 157 TF. I think the 154 will be easier to handle in uneven snow and to turn in tight spots like a tree line. The 157 will be amazing on clean groomer carving mornings and in minimally tracked to perfect pow. It's a heavier board though so it's a lot of work to control for your specs. You might like the TF Plus 157 instead. I found that easier to turn/control than the Classic 157 and it might be a nice compromise. The Cafe Racer 159 (equavelent to the 157 TF) is longer, has a more surface area, more taper and has a lot more set back on board. All that gave me a lot more easy directional float in deep pow vs. the 157 TF. It felt way more floaty and closer to the Pencil even though it's behind the Pin Tonic and Dart. In my opinion the TF is only better in pow than the Otto when looking at their more popular boards. Great review - tracking it is a directional shape but any feedback riding switch? Hoping the reduction in taper helps with switch a bit more. Appreciate the content!
Not bad. Very doable for sure and better than all of their really directional rides. Just not amazing. If you ride switch allot and want a Korua go with the Otto for sure.
Both have great spring out of a turn and on an ollie. Surfari is massively more damp for all conditions riding but the TF plus is better in pow and has a faster base.
Two very different boards. The Dancehaul is softer and more like a tapered all mtn/alt freeride ride. The TF is more tapered directional stiffer more damp at speed and more aggressive. Takes more work to get it to carve/ollie/pop but man is it a satisfying board. You want to carve hard get big air and ride more back by the tail go TF. If you want something more mellow playful/less directional go Dancehaul.
Love the videos! Can you all do some split videos? I am torn between the Escalator Plus or an eye popping $600 more for Jones Ultralight Hovercraft (Which is actually heavier)

Two massively different rides. The only thing in common is they are lighter/poppier/faster base versions of the regular. The TF+ is way more directional has soo much taper and is way set back. You ride this much closer to the tail than the MD. Get the TF+ for way better carving and much easier float in pow. Get the MD if you like boards that aren't tapered, want to ride switch more and like to be more centered.
I'd consider the Pencil Plus as well. All those could work as long as you plan to ride it with very posi stance angles. I'd also consider the Soul Shift, Soul Blower and Gentemstick Barracuda. thought this board was dope until I realized this and the dart and the otto were produced in china, whereas the others are produced in poland. took away some of the radness to me.

I would have assumed this to be more like the Mind Expander
Yes more similar to the TFP vs. the Hovercraft but all 3 have overlap. I would say the TFP is inbetween both but with more camber/pop.
