I'm glad I was born in hospital on comfy bed. I couldn't imagine starting as a newborn, I need to cope with the survival mode without any of the guidance of my parents. I need to be even grateful of being sustained up until today, although suffering with the pandemic. I wish the best for all who read this!

Yeah the whole episode was them slicing together various footage , the hammer head stuff was the most obvious, the part where they used bright light to confuse the turtles into think it was day time so they would run to the water and get eaten by crabs was truely dispicable.

its illegal to intervene with wildlife entirely, except if the animals injured and not being hunted, its a pet, or it got injured from something manmade, or also stuff like bushfires and drowning (if its not being hunted ofc). Basically rule number 1 of the animal kingdom, if somethings’ hunting it and its not a pet, leave it alone, that carnivore needs to eat.
Illegal or not, if you save all the turtles, you are indirectly killing the carbs or other predators by preventing them from catching prey, eventually starving them to death. You're still not a good person for doing that.

Mammals invest a lot of energy on their offspring and put in a lot of care to ensure their survival. I think I heard that among things like Nile and Saltwater crocs something like 90% of their biomass gets 'passed on' to other animals in the form of food, whether eggs or hatchlings. I'm guessing the same applies to large constrictors like anacondas or pythons.

I think an important attribute of nature photographers is that they don't interfere with whats the natural way of life for these animals. Its fundamental part of nature some animals get killed for food, and taking the wrong decision gets you killed. I don't think he should have gripped in, but when its unnatural trouble humans caused I may think otherwise
The part that fascinated me the most in the octopus part was that even though the octopus knows it’s own camouflage, it can still recognize that it will be better hidden attached as a sandy branch instead of laying in the open
