Former NBA forward Drew Gordon, who is also the older brother of Denver Nuggets’ Aaron Gordon, has died at the age of 33 in a car accident in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday according to his argent.
Gordon played nine games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014-15 season
Denver Nuggets, confirmed his death in a post on their twitter that reads,
The Denver Nuggets organization is devastated to learn about the tragic passing of Drew Gordon,”
. “Drew was far too young to leave this world, but his legacy will forever live on through his three beautiful children and all of his loved ones,”
He is survived by his wife Angela, and three children.
Gordon has not played in the NBA for 10 years, but was still playing basketball around the world, with his nomadic career taking him to the G-League, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, France, Lithuania, Turkey and Italy.
