Heck of a buff job! The paint on the four-digit Cockshutt’s is often too far gone to save at all! I’ll never understand how or why the green aged just fine but the red had a tendency to disappear!
Yeah I’ve noticed that as well. The best original red paint on a four digit I’ve seen personally is our 1550 diesel. Although the red used on the combines held up really well
I used rustoleum rust dissolver to clean the cab and wheels. It comes in a squirt bottle and has a jelly like consistency to it and then used a paint brush to cover it over the white paint. Then for the ready I used meguiars compound followed by turtle wax ceramic polish, and finished it with ceramic spray
Amazing what a little elbow grease can do. It looks great!
Yes it really turned around it’s appearance. Thank you!
Looks great. Always loved the look of the 55 Series. I only ever had one. A 2255 4WD. All the rest of mine were 50 series from 1550 to 2150.
Thank you! 2255 is a good one to have. I’d really like a 2150 Cockshutt but I’ve only ever seen 2. The 2-155 is close enough lol
Tractor looks great and sounds great…👍
Thank you!

Thanks. Go buy it, it’s been for sale since June and no one’s got ahold of him yet. Probably get it for a good price
Man, that beast really shined afterwards. What did you use on it?
