- Nfs Heat. The last Need for Speed game that was developed by EA Ghost. Need for Speed Heat was fairly well received by both fans and critics, many claiming it was the proper return to form that the NFS franchise needed. Personally I think the pros outweigh the cons in this installment and I like the direction that Ghost went in with this title. If there was one thing you wish you could see in Heat that wasn't included, what would that be? Personally, I hate the fact that NFS Heat has no real multiplayer (Speedlists) the way NFS 2015 did.

I think Heat and Unbound are the best modern nfs games in the last decade. They’re not perfect but they’re something. Just my opinion

I refunded it a few days after i bought it cos of how bad it was
unbound is good with the grip and drift setups while heat is much fun to play. heat is the closest modern nfs to the old ones like NFSMW imo. it was soo aggressive. I loved it. unfortunately, the developers can only do so much in given time.

Using the soundtracks from older games like Most Wanted, Carbon, and Underground in your videos kinda makes me wonder if in ten years when people watch Random Moments from the newest NFS games and hear songs from Payback, Heat, and Unbound if they'll feel the same nostalgia we get from hearing the soundtracks from the O.G. NFS games.
You missed hot pursuit's soundtrack also great, actually i think that's the last grat soundtrack(depends on when carbon and underground where launched)

I also love Unbound (sadly seems an unpopular opinion), but with a longer campaign, tweaked handling, and tiered races (and more competent ai racers), Heat could have been almost perfect.

15:05 I realized that this usually happens when the cops doesn't appear on time on the heat 3 or 5 races(or when you are knocking them a lot of times so they start following you), so for that reason they follow you for around 2 or 3 mins whenever you go.... You can lost them if you go to a higher place they can't reach and after 2 or 3 mins they leave

1:29 that's what I like about this game. You're not the only one who gets beaten by the cops. Unlike many previous titles. I also have seen that police prefers to attack the leader of the race. When I see rhino, i always hide behind another racer.

I honestly think, they should have added pink slip racing. More builds/tuning options. More cars. Also, (side tangent + a point) their handling physics weren't too bad as an arcade racer using drift mechanics as a base line; however, I did want to see them add more grip style physics/builds/tuning for these "sanctioned" style races to feel like they actually were "sanctioned." One last thing, having a very aware/cleaner/challenging AI for those of us just looking to enjoy the solo racing.

On the other head, heat is still a brilliant game. Minus the constant glitches.
Btw, according to google: Sony charges money for Developer Kits, IE, developers have to pay Sony to develop on their platform. Plus they get a cut of all sales. Roughly equals out to the 10 dollar hike in pricing. That probably doesn’t explain but…..that’s all Google gave me.

Weird traffic and cops in Heat man, so many weird occurences in just one episode. And the physics still had issues, depending on how your car collides with sidewalks no less, high speed locks the steering in the opposite direction on impact.
