It is true that Nazis took a lot of drugs during combat so that's why it seemed like they were almost zombie like cause they were so high and would shrug off being shot at.
When I first watched this movie my inner historian was going like, "Wait. Why are there black soldiers in a company of airborne troops? Mixed race companies weren't utilized until the Korean War." Then I saw the Nazi zombies and I was like, "Oh! It's THAT KIND of movie! Lemme refresh my popcorn, this is gonna be fun!"
That opening sequence is one of my favorites I’ve EVER seen in the theater. It was so intense, and sound was blaring even though I was in a “cheap” theater that isn’t known for good sound. It was crazy!!!
I adored Overlord when I first saw it. Sort of 'Zombie army trilogy' come to life. This little movie was so well done and took a lot of people by surprise when it came out. So glad you've reacted to it. :)
Loved this movie. It’s one of those movies I made an effort to actually see in theaters just because it looked decent and I was blown away and happy I did. Very Lovecraftian themed horror.
One of the parts i most like that shows how Ford is still himself even when he has the serum in him is the line at the end there Waffner: “How does it feel to have the blood of eternity flowing in your veins?” Ford: “Not that fucking great!”
(Rhyael here)I love that y'all post these because even though I was watching the live stream I was focused on the movie and only really heard y'all react. But getting to watch these I can see your faces. I love how every kid becomes Nikki's baby and at times Steven looks like he's about to charge into the screen to protect someone.
It's good that you switch sides once in a while so your right arm doesn't take all the abuse haha. I just watched this recently too, great flick. Way better than I thought it would be.
man this movie was just complete zombie filled fun bruh, had the best time seeing it at the theater when it first came out, the body horror in this is amazing !!! LOVE IT
Always a Thumbs Up, always love seeing you two. And as I said on the recent live stream, your release schedule is fantastic and we appreciate your hard work!
This movie was originally supposed to be part of JJ Abrams' "Cloverfieldverse" before Cloverfield Station or whatever the fuck the shitty one in space is called BOMBED big time. BTW 10 Cloverfield Lane was easily one of the best movies of 2016, I saw it in theatres with my brother and went back for more after. 100% recommend.
This movie overboard is so underrated I saw it in theaters the day it came out that airplane scene at the beginning all that stuff going on Magic 20 speakers going off at the same time at the theater it was so loud in that theater watching at beginning of that movie the fight at the end the plot twist phenomenal your face reaction was hilarious genuine reaction right there
The fictional German Super Soldier was called the "Uber Soldat". I don't know if they said it here, but this is loosely tied to the Wolfenstein video games set in Nazi Germany 1940's and the Uber Soldat was referenced there.
This actually came as a real surprise. As a general rule, I dislike zombie flicks, but do kinda like Weird World War II stuff, so I gave it a try. This turned out to be a really good see-once, popcorn movie. I don't know that I would watch it, again, but I'd definitely see another film by the same crew that made this one. :)
Are we allowed to suggest shows? Have you two considered watching The Americans? It's a Cold War spy thriller about two Russian spies leaving as a married couple in the US. The show is a slow burn but has some phenomenal acting.
If you’ve been on their streams they don’t tend to read comments about show suggestions, on their discord there’s usually times where there’s polls and also on their Twitter.
I thoroughly recommend the Dead Snow movies. They are Norwegian so the first one is subtitled, but the second one is mostly in English. Hilarious comedy horror movies, with some of the most inventive and gory ways to kill zombies yet. Another great Norwegian horror is Trollhunter, but that one's dead serious.
I hope the community vote for The Mist. It's a movie done by the same director of The Green Mile andThe Shawshank Redemption. You will recognize quite a few Of The Walking Dead alums. Since Darabount also was the show runner for TWD. I really think you would enjoy it. Again hopefully the community will vote for it
This movie didn’t get the appreciation it deserved I saw this in theaters and loved it. Reminded me of”Nazi Zombie Army the game.” Really enjoyed it. Nikki and Steven I tune in more to your guys reaction because you seem so genuine and humble like that friend couple you have to look forward too.
Here's some movies for you to react to The Last Boy Scout (1991) The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Phantasm (1979) Under The Skin(2013) You're Next(2011) Face/Off(1997) Color Out Of Space (2020) Love & Monsters(2020) Ex Machina (2014) Annihilation (2018) A Quiet Place (2018) VFW(2020) Tenet(2020) Triple Threat(2019) The Protector (2005)
I saw this about 2 years ago because it was supposed to be part of the Cloverfield "Universe" of which I enjoy all 3 but as others stated, that was scrapped 👍. I'm a Fan of Scary Gory Stuff & this movie didn't Disappoint. Starts off like a Traditionally Historical War Story and Thennnnnnnnnn, it Doesn't 🤭😂😂. You're on the edge of the seat , short breathed, heart palpitations, giving urself new Wrinkles and Grays & prob shaving off a few days off of ur life expectancy 🤣🤣, but well worth it.
Would love to see your reaction to Jojo Rabbit and 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Kind of dark comedies. Get some Samuel L. Jackson with The Long Kiss Goodnight, The Negotiator, and The Hitman's Bodyguard. Sci-fi I would recommend Chronicle and District 9 and for funsies a throwback if you haven't seen it Inner Space. P.s. Loved your Train to Busan reaction.
If you remove the last 3 star wars and star trek movies, many of the products made by "bad robot production" is a very funny mindfuck. Cloverfield, the last MI, Super 8, Overlord...
This movie is SOO haunting! Quite traumatizing... The quality is very high IMO which helps instill the fear 😱 I couldn't sleep after I watched it the first time. I honestly feel sorry for yall having to watch this 😭I enjoyed your reactions though
There was a missed opportunity here to start the Wolfenstein film franchise (Although it wouldn't be that difficult to reverse-engineer this into a Wolfenstein game or a solid DLC)
@@NikkiStevenReact The movie itself isn't part of a series, but there's a LOT of similarities with the Wolfenstein gaming franchise, which literally gave birth to the First-Person Shooter genre in the 90's (although I also remember playing "Castle Wolfenstein" on the Apple II computer in the 80's). It's basically Nazi's doing weird cult experiments to create super-mega-zombie Nazis in each game. I remember when I saw the trailer for Overlord, I thought "They finally made a Wolfenstein movie! Oh...no they didn't..."
Overlord is awesome, but total insanity! Loved both of your reactions to it! But I'm glad Steven is muscular cause it's easier to take getting the hell slapped out of your back and arm with muscle. LMFAO!
Overlord is SO UNDERATED!! Saw it in theatres, loved every minute of it!!
What platform can I watch it on , if any ?
@@AlejandroMartinez-qw3qy I know it's on Netflix right now for sure, at least in my country. Maybe Amazon as well, but not 100 percent on that
The air battle in the beginning was damn awesome in the theater, that scene alone made the movie worth it imo.
@@tekunin5407 oh yeah well I loved every second of it!!! I’m so much better than you!!!! 🥸🐖🦧💨
@@AlejandroMartinez-qw3qy this is from their watch party on Twitch so it’s definitely on Amazon
I went in thinking "yeah Nazi Zombies!" and ended up thinking what makes this scary is "what if the nazis tried to do it for real?".
Many documents say they really did try, and more than once.

I am not surprised, at all!
They did...
It is true that Nazis took a lot of drugs during combat so that's why it seemed like they were almost zombie like cause they were so high and would shrug off being shot at.
The Nazis Tried Some Very Weird Shit During The War.
The guy who plays Chase, Iain De Caestecker, is an amazing actor on Agents of SHIELD.
YES absolutely.

Then I saw the Nazi zombies and I was like, "Oh! It's THAT KIND of movie! Lemme refresh my popcorn, this is gonna be fun!"

Morton chase/ Fitz/ Iain De Caestecker is a great actor Again you've got to watch Agents of Shield if you get a chance.
I second this Iain invents acting several times over in that show.
