This is just 35 hours streach exercise. The whole selection process is of 90 days. After getting selected they have to go to 3 months para trooper training.

There is an international competition of US Navy SEALs, UK SAS, Russian Spetsnaz, Israel Sayeret Matkal and Indian Para SF commandos where our Indian commandos have won highest no. of prizes for last 20 years consecutively by defeating the SAS, SEALs, Spetsnaz, Sayeret Matkals.

This is the training I've been through, i am not exactly in the Para SF, but I'm in the NSG( National security guards), we specialise in counter terrorism in the urban area, we also specialise in the anti hijacking course, VVIP Protection. PARA And NSG are the two special forces unit of the Indian army. The training is pretty tense, and man if you complete the training you are fit for any type of operation.
All due respect, for someone who says that they are in NSG, you sure seem to know quite little about it. NSG is not a Special Forces unit of the Indian Army. NSG falls under MHA. And this is not the training you undergo when you deploy in NSG. My father has served in NSG SAGs and he did never went for probation in Para SF. He went for training in Belgaum. The entire raison-d'etre of NSG and Para SF is different. There philosophies are different and hence their skill sets and equipment profiles are also VERY different. There is no training that makes you "fit for any type of operation". Special Forces, by definition, are Specialized assets. They are not meant to be a "Jack of all trades".

Yes, this is the selection process. This is their probationary period before they go through the even tougher training. This is Indian Army's special forces called para sf. The soldiers from the India army have to volunteer to go through the initial process and training. First of all, no matter what rank you are in the army, as soon as you step in to the para sf training, you are all same. Some of the pointers to help you better understand since I suspect the subtitles were missing. 1) The water that they had was not actually form the water that they bathed in, the instructors were just playing mind games. That was actually some sort of energy mixture. Plus, that was the first drop of water they had after 14 hours of 36 hours of stress phase. They did not have anything to eat or drink before that. 2) For this particular training batch, there were 23 soldiers who volunteered, but by the time this stress phase was completed, there were only 11 left. Rest of them quit. There were some other stuff in their training, too. Which included 100KMs (approximately 63 miles) speed march/run/hike/walk etc with their full battle load of 37 KG (approximately 82lbs). And in that session instructors played with their minds, too. They didn't ask them to go for 100 kms. They said it is 10kms. Once they did that it was 30 more, then 30 more again and again 30 more. To break their spirit, this is what they did.
*This is just the selection process, they aren't buffed yet but with the end of their main training carried, they aren't what they look right now!* *Fact* Indian special forces also do the exercises performed by Navy Seals, and is carried out by Navy seal trainer! 🇮🇳❤🇺🇸 When they receive their badges, they celebrate it by drinking wine and chewing the glass cup!

The 36 hours is at the end of the 40 days of special forces selection. Sleep deprivation, hunger starvation and humiliation training is just part of this . Also forced marches up to 40 kms and even the 100 km endurnace run battle load is all part of this. After the 5 th day I can assure you get numb to pain...until the 36 hours stress phase arrives

In 2016 Special forces had a relatively simple task to complete in Myanmar.They carried 30+ kg for about 50 km to reach a terrorist camp in 24 hrs through dense forest.They successfully completed the task and returned with zero casualty.History tv has made a documentary on that mission.Watching that was a real adrenaline rush

The 36 hours is at the end of the 40 days of special forces selection. Sleep deprivation, hunger starvation and humiliation training is just part of this . Also forced marches up to 40 kms and even the 100 km endurnace run battle load is all part of this. After the 5 th day I can assure you get numb to pain...until the 36 hours stress phase arrives
•10km speed march *4 =40km
•1.8km weight shift+avg 40-80kg weight *3 = 5.4km +avg weight
•Emergency march * 2km =4km
•Extream war tactic stress test
• avg sleep of 1-2 hrs/day for a week
•food & water as low as they can only survive
•Extreme cold water tactics
•Selection ratio is 1/10000 people
•That's the Indian army
• Brave 36 hrs
•its only a selection process their real training will begin from here now
The Indian Army does recruit civilians too, it's called the "Citizen Squad" I believe.
With them only we are living safe here
