Not running a 100km (62miles) on a fresh day, all healthy and motivated. That too, just for selection. Not even real training. It can play games in the head. It would make one easily give up and scary thoughts like how worse things would be later during actual training would make one think about quitting. Going through it successfully is a major deal. Not all can do it. Works just on sheer motivation and no giving up attitude.

Special Air Service one of the Best SF They march cross country against the clock, increasing the distances covered each day, culminating in what is known as Endurance. This is a march of 40 miles (64 km) with full equipment scaling and descending Pen y Fan in 20 hours. This 100 km (60+miles) endurance run which you complete in 20 hours is even harder than SAS Run. Not saying But Running continuously for 20 hours can take toll on human body 🙄🙄and they completed course in record time 15:45 hours

my uncle's son is in this unit. he went there from gorkha rifles and he said their actual training is much more harder than sas and navy seal..and myself is ex gurkha..hats off to those guys

Much love for Indian soldiers as well as all the soldiers in the world. Politicians should look for negotiation settlements instead of going on wars when they can be avoided.

10 or 20 km is normal guys but those people who think 100 km is easy please try guys you will feel like you don’t have legs it’s very tough even full body breaks. And they’re running with 17 kg weight (17 kg weight + more then 2x full marathon 💀)
remind you this is beside the hell week you watched last time and consecutively. U.S Marines run 100 miles but in 3 days and without weights and irrespective of hell week. But here they go 65 miles in one go and single stretch with weights and hell week torture. So yeah it's challenging.

Almost 80% of the 'best men of the country' gives up before the last lap. . I wonder why physical endurance is given this much importance. (Physical endurance level can be set at-par with some other countries) For a special force personnel, I think I should get diverse & complex trainings, not just 'bone-breaking' physical activities. . Btw, mental strength/health is considered first before allowing anyone, no matter how much athletic he might be, for this selection procedure.

I run 11-12 Km in an hour, which means I'm a normal human and they are super humans (Commandos).
