Almost all people around me got the idea that I'm not working. Even my father told them I'm jobless. Actually I quit my job around the end of last year. Since then I keep searching for any kind of work online. I know I still not earning money right now. One day the other day, I found out I that I don't have to find a job. I don't have to work under someone else. I can start the business. Cut the story short, now I'm here.

I like your videos and I have to say that I haven't watched all of them, but every time I ask myself a question on how to do something on Etsy, or I find myself in a crossroads, after two or three hours, how soon will I have the youtube (on the way to work) the first video that comes to me is one of yours just to help me with that deadlock or that question. I manifest it and I think it has to be that way, you are the one who solves it. I know there are a lot of videos for that but I never look specifically I just trust that God will put it in front of me and you appear. Thank you very much for the value you bring us and for the great work you are doing. I think I am telling you that you are the most suitable to at least resolve my doubts, I trust the signals 100% always. I've heard of those books before, I actually read 7 Habits when I was in high school because my father wanted me to read it, but I think I was way too young and immature then to fully grasp the information it had. I will give them a shot :) And this also made me realize that I really have only been thinking small...I've been struggling financially lately so I'm thinking about my Etsy store as a means of helping me to get by, when I should be thinking big and working towards that 6 figures. And I also want to say thank you Cassiy for always being an inspiration to me! When I started in May I was making baby steps and wasn't sure about if I would even continue POD, because in the past I've been guilty of starting new things and not really following through with them, but so far I've been gaining momentum and the progress I've seen so far excites me! Now I'm living and breathing this business and I want to prove myself that I can take it to that 6 figure level.

I'm in my early 30s and am expecting to have open heart surgery soon. I went back to school to get my BSN in nursing but with my hectic work schedule it is becoming difficult and VERY stressful, two things I don't need. I love designing and recently got the car of my dreams and was inspired to do vinyl wrapping. I told my coworkers of my ideas and #5 really speaks to me. Not everyone will truly be happy for you. I was at a nail salon and told the owner my ideas and she stopped doing my nails, went to her office and grabbed a flyer. She's opening a new store and wants me to design it 🤯. This woman I don't know vs people I worked with for years is more supportive. That solidified my choice. I'm going to move in silence and become a self made woman ❤️ Thank you for your advice and sharing your knowledge.

I know I have the potential to build a good store and work on it, but as you said, I have the imposter syndrome I guess, I built from scratch with not much money, at least 3 multi-million dollar businesses for other people and I do not get the rewards, unfortunately, so, I made the decision to open my own Etsy store and quite possibly another store, Shopify style, I have a lot of design skills. for more than 30 years I worked in sales and design for quite high-end brands, so it is time I jump into it for me! I guess I was so tired at the end of each day, that I was just crashing and could not see the light! Thank you for the great advice and I will certainly keep watching your videos. I did my research for the past 6 months, and now it is time to go all in.

then im also reading 1 book a month now on investing and finances, currently started on my 5th book from rich Dad Robert Kiyosaki and books from Tony Robbins and ive got the Dutch version of the 4 hour workweek.
This all while working a 40 hour fulltime job which im fed up with since about 20 yrs back 😂🤣

I just started selling on etsy and that is my goal in the near future. As always, thankful for your content and practical, helpful tips Cassiy! Do you have a general estimation of how many of your designs become best sellers or maybe, even sell at all (5+ times or so)? I'm trying to wrap my head around how many listings I need to have to meet my income goal, and based on my rate of how many designs sell/become best sellers out of my 500+ listings currently active, I'd need like 30,000 listings to make it happen. Hope that makes sense? Maybe there's an area I'm really lacking like my designs aren't quite up to par, my SEO etc. and if I improved, my rate would increase. But even so, it seems like I need a ton of listings to make a dent in my income goal. Do you also have the experience of having a majority of your listings 'fail' so to speak and you continue to list and list with the hope you'll get a minority knock it out of the park?

Cassiy! I just LOVE your channel! Your tips are pure gold!! QUESTION please... I followed your advice about researching 10 successful stores on etsy (from previous video). One thing that consistently puzzled me... I don't see the date the stores open. And MOST don't even have an "about" page for their shop. Sooo... I understand that if there's no "about" page, then there's no opening date to view. Just wondering if there's another way to know how long these shops with huge sales numbers have been around. Two years vs ten years makes huge difference, as I've learned from you. :) Your thoughts? Better not to include an about page? Better not to let folks know how long I've been on etsy... ? You can just sort someone’s reviews and see what is oldest! This will give you a pretty good guess at how long they have been open!! Best to have an about me even if it’s simple, etsy likes when your whole shop is filled out

The end of this video, I talked about Imposter Syndrome, this is exactly what you are feeling! You are capable of making great things too! Everyone started with no sales and reviews. Every successful store you are looking at started right where you are. You can either look at the mountain and think it's not worth the climb, or you can just not overthink it, start your shop today and have faith and belief that you can make this happen too. If millions of other people can have successful Etsy shops, why not you too??

the word Santa is trademarked (of course) in the UK. is it a very bad idea to use it for those "dear Santa" funny family kind of shirts? I made a bunch and later check it and realized is trademarked. and so is Christmas 😥 is there a way of getting around this thing

1 and 2. Actually figure out what your total monthly expenses are. Multiply your profit margin per item until you equal your monthly expenses. Now divide by 30 to get the items to sell per day. Live a low cost full value life. Value living within your means.
3. Commit to making this work no matter what. 5 years will pass regardless of your effort, so spend your time accordingly. Plan out your week and your activities. Communicate this to your family to get their support.
4. Save up 6 months of total expenses. Cut back your expenses and build sales on Etsy. Use auto deduction from paycheck (5-10% to start).
5. Stop taking advice from people who are not in the position you want to be in. Listen to The Magic of Thinking Big, the Four Hour Work Week, and the 7 Habits of highly Effective people.
6. Live the life of your dreams right now. Set your goals for what you want your life to look like 10 years from now. How many hours do you want to work? Which house to do you want to live in? Get just 1% closer to living this lifestyle and refrain from falling back into old habits and living on auto pilot.
I follow all your videos and was wondering if I received a notice of copyright infringement from another shop the best way to go about fighting it? It was another shop owner who submitted the complaint but I purchased the graphics used in the two listings from another etsy store, uploaded them to procreate and changed the designs and numerous other people are selling the same sweatshirt with the unchanged graphic. This has caused a payment reserve on my account and I am very unhappy, I know you said previously you had to fight one and got it removed, what’s the best way to go about that?
