- The legendary singer Aretha Franklin - the "Queen of Soul" - sings "America, The Beautiful" for departing Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder served as President Obama's only Attorney General, and has been replaced by Loretta Lynch, the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to reflect on Aretha Franklin this morning...I just couldn't! Beautiful lady with a beautiful voice. RIP beautiful.

Think how long Aretha has been around, she did not have to dress half naked, or her back up singers. She did not have to tweak her butt or having fireworks going off behind her, like the majority of singers do this day and age......She was a beautiful woman and her voice will ringing in our ears for years to come.

Let’s be clear, Aretha was very in touch with her sexuality and a lot of things she wore back in the day were considered risqué and garnered negative attention.
