I was LOOKING for someone to comment this, because it's so true. Shayne is great, as well as tommy, however, Ian was like veteran status and KILLED it, not one person held it together during his bit.
This series is such an original and clever way of making a roast video, this format is way funnier than those tired Jimmy Kimmel roast vids where celebrities just read mean tweets from a phone then pretend that they give a sh*t
Tommy really tries to get fired at these roasts, Amanda's set was absolutely brilliant, Ian proves he is full of surprises, and apparently Jackie roasts people by making them uncomfortable.
I forget sometimes that Ian is a talented guy. And him jamming out as Johnny took me back to how he made me laugh all those years when he did the Pokémon Parodies, food wars and box openings. I still love Smosh
I love Ian and his comedy. It's honestly impressive to see someone go from being the first big TH-cam comedy thing, to do more and more to the point of being more ridiculous in retrospect, yet now still being funny in modern times. His judge character was so amazingly silly, I still think about that Smosh & Order sketch. I hope to see more of Ian's humor fully let loose. This was great.
God, when Amanda says "I was doing my job!" she sounds like Will Forte's best and most hilarious line deliveries and it is incredible. Looking forward to seeing more from her.
Ian’s song was too perfect. I was literally imagining that early 2000’s punk rock sound with the lyrics, and that’s the time period that Johnny and Courtney were together. IT’S TOO GOOD!!
Tommy always, always brings it. He is reliably hysterical and is *a lot* without being too much/unfunny which is a hard thing to do. He and Jackie are just absolutely delightful in each video for that reason, imo, I always click when I see them.
I love how these funerals are setup as a roast of the 'deceased', but it inevitably turns into a group roast of everyone there by everyone who gets up to speak.
I loved that they Added Amanda to the cast. She brings such a great energy and newness to the show that was lacking before. She's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

These were all fantastic. I was about to die laughing by the time I realized Kimmy was reading the plot to Grease 2. Then I actually died when Amanda did her bit. Everyone nailed it. One of my favorite Smosh videos of all time honestly.
Amanda and Jackie have been amazing additions to the team, and Ian- I’m sorry, “Johnny” was definitely bringing some nostalgia to the table with his original piece, “Dying’s What Exes Are For.” It was very much an homage to the Smosh of years past. Many, many years past.

The ammount of work each member puts in to this for preparation is crazy to me. Writing speeches and songs!? Making up a character, and actions. But i can tell you this, the work you put into all this, same with Shane's funeral is more than worth it. This can be watched more than once, and still be really funny! Do everyone please!

Amanda's Distraught (Horny?) Detective is one of the greatest monologues I have ever layed my eyes upon. A theatre kid like me could only strive to be as much of a mess as her in a role.
It amazes me how not every single comment is about Amanda. This was so so so damn good! On the one hand I was laughing my ass off during the whole thing, on the other I was mesmerized by the story and couldn't wait to find out what happens next because the acting was so good. This was actually a masterpiece!!

I think it was a subtle nod to their relationship that, in both of their funeral roasts, Shayne and Courtney were the most visibly distraught that the other was gone. Kinda cute ngl
Ian nailed the genre and character so well, it reminded me along of Courtney's character in America's Next Top Simp in how it was such a genuine portrayal of that type of person.

Ian really should sing more on the channel! I always forget that he's got a pretty good voice. Going back and looking at the old Smosh songs you can really hear the talent he has, even if it's sometimes a bit silly. He's got a real skill and I think it would be awesome if he could sing on the channel again. Please give him more opportunities to sing!

Ian nailed the genre and character so well, it reminded me along of Courtney's character in America's Next Top Simp in how it was such a genuine portrayal of that type of person.

Ian really should sing more on the channel! I always forget that he's got a pretty good voice. Going back and looking at the old Smosh songs you can really hear the talent he has, even if it's sometimes a bit silly. He's got a real skill and I think it would be awesome if he could sing on the channel again. Please give him more opportunities to sing!
