You should test out the CYMA m9 electric pistol. Aep's are a good and cheap alternative to gas pistols. Plus if you show it on your channel they would get more awareness, prompting companies to make more. The CYMA M9 AEP goes for $69 on evike. As apposed to 120-150 for a gas pistol.

Hey dude i reccomend adding the g and g cm rk47
I bought mine for $100 , 5 years ago and to this day i have never had an issue and i have run at least 100k rounds through it
All u gotta do is charge the battery and that thing chugs along, ive used it in the rain, mud and snow ,its fallen in mud puddles, ran in sub 20° degree weather in ohio but also run just fine in a mega humid 105° houston day
It shoots straight, hits hard, and always fires

    My beginner tips to boot:
YES, definitely don't skimp on eye protection. I too got ESS revision goggles, they don't fog up, but they do gather moisture. Removing the foam around the rim allows the moisture to escape so you won't havve an aquarium effect. Also, if you find Peter Parker's anti-fog solution, that stuff is great for glasses wearing peeps like myself. Remember to let it dry and form a coat on lenses for about minute.
And yeah, Cyma is the king budget AKs. The frames and necessary internals are good enough for future upgrading as well. Generally the lower priced cymas are great bang for buck, but be prepared to change/upgrade things like hop up rubber and some exterior/cosmetic parts.
And for machineguns and snipers and even DMRS? Don't. A good AEG will serve you much better as a newbie, lets you learn the game, positioning and playing as team much better. Aspects VERY critical to support role. A machinegunner has to quickly set up shop to cover friendlies and keep enemy hunkering down. Sniper does the same, but at much longer range and with better hit/miss ratio.
Definitely don't get a sniper under 300 bucks. You want accurate, far reaching gun and I tell you, that takes precision barrel, high grade and finely tuned hop up, etc.

A word of caution, the JG bar 10 is cheaper than the VSR 10 because it uses lower quality parts. The 45 degree trigger will eventually (no matter how careful you are) break. I would suggest getting a 90 degree trigger as soon as you can, or expect to but more pistons and trigger kits in the future as replacements.

    • @airsoftsniperm40a33
      @airsoftsniperm40a33 ปีที่แล้ว +1

My first airsoft gun was the Elite Force 1911 Tac in silver/ grey (shown at 9:35)
It has lasted me years and is reliable even in medium engagements. It is the gun that got me into airsoft, and despite increasing my arsenal to include 5 other sidearms, I still go to my 1911 for most games. Also the aesthetic of a blowback is always a plus in my book. And i got it on sale for only $95. Truly a great starting gun

Turned a really subpar 10” m4 into a slick mid range gun with some 9v batteries, 45* for grip, and simple red dot. Ran the stock flip sight for a few months and had a blast with just that after getting used to the irons.

My first AEG was a G&G M16 of some kind, a model they don't make anymore with a short handguard and fixed polymer stock, metal body. I bought it alllllll the way back in what must have been 2008 or 2009. Nobody recommended it to me, and on forums nobody believed me when I told them I was able to land 300 foot shots on people . . . but I could, sometimes it would take me 3-4 shots, but I really, really could. I took that gun out of it's resting place in my closet yesterday and shot with it. OG battery it came with and everything. No issues. Still sighted to my zero exactly. That's why G&G has the rep it has.

One point i have to put in there is that the Elite Force 1911 Tac is hands down one of the best pistols out there. I have been using that gun for close to 3 years now and I have NEVER had it break on me. The only time it did break was user dumbness (I forgot to fasten it in my holster and then ran at full speed flinging the gun into a concrete wall.). And replacement parts are cheap, easy to upgrade and overall amazing build quality.

For people starting out in airsoft who think they will make it a lifelong hobby, I recommend looking into a weapon that has a v2 or v3 gearbox with a quick change spring system. An important part of airsoft is learning how to fix your gearbox if something goes wrong and a QCS makes it that much easier to get into and out of your gearbox. It also becomes a great platform to practice upgrades when you inevitably purchase your second (and more expensive) gun. Or, if you end up really loving that first weapon, you can sink more money into upgrading it inside and out.

  • @CaptainSeamus

One thing I will point out... there is a way to convert the M4/16 mags to be used on a FAMAS. You have to cut a strip out on the front face, and I think there was a slight modification to the mag well of the FAMAS, but then it would run with them. Apologies for not being more exact, but I did that 15 years ago when I first got into airsoft, and don't have either an M4 or a FAMAS any more.
Also, on Cyma AKs - we had an indoor airsoft place, and we bought a pallet of returns - a LOT of Cyma AKs. Most of them had loose battery connections. Anyway, we ended up keeping a couple dozen of them as rental/loaner guns - they got beat into walls, banged around, generally thrashed. We had been using M4s, and having to work on them all the time... then we didn't have to do hardly any work on the AKs, they just were absolute tanks. I still have a couple of them that I kept after we shut down... some of those guns had to have had 100,000 or more bbs through them without anything more than a shot of lube once a day. Seriously, can't praise them enough.

My first real airsoft gun (as in not from Wal-Mart and not made by Crosman) was a Cybergun AKS-74u that I got from Airsoft Atlanta for like $165 I think. I believe it's discontinued now. But this gun has lasted me for nearly 7 years now. Only major issues I've had with it was the cheap plastic mag that came with it broke, and the stock battery died pretty quickly. Build quality was amazing (real metal and wood), but it did make it pretty heavy. But it could take a beating and packed a punch. I let one of my friends at my local arena use it, and he thought it was at least $250. Was an absolute steal, and if it was still being made then I would highly recommend it.

Not a beginner, just using this a good start off point to using aeg's again as I've been using a utg shotgun as my primary for years (my previous being a cyma m14).
As this video already showed, if you're considering getting a utg or any tri-shot shotgun, absolutely do it. From a small to mid-sized field, because you essentially only get 10 shots per shell, it forces you to play a bit more tactical. You can still run and gun as a speedsofter, but it's good to keep track of your shots. As I said before, I used this as my primary for years and it's a damn good option if you're considering it.

I highly praise the CZ PO7 non blowback because it’s very Comfy and compact, still metal but by no means heavy. And holds 16 rounds per mag, mags are dirt cheap at 10 bucks, and the non blowback lets you get roughly 14 mags out of a single co2 charge. Second gun I can’t give enough love to is the cyber gun 40th anniversary ak, has mostly metal body weighing just short of 6.5 pounds, 12 rounds per second fire rate with high cap 550 magazines, and real pica-tinny rails for attachments, great starter gun coming in at only 130.

I honestly have to recommend the UHC gas revolvers. I know I sound insane but seriously, I’ve had the “Cobra” (Python) for two years now and with all the abuse it’s taken it still works. Fairly recently I accidentally shattered the barrel of it on a wall in CQB and it kept working. This wheelgun outlasted 3 EF 1911’s a KWA ATP Auto and an EF M9. Not to mention all the good looks and complements I get while using it. So seriously for 40 bucks this thing will serve you longer than any GBB I’ve seen.

I’d been playing paintball for 28 years before I decided to give airsoft a try, I did a bunch of research and spent a lot of time bugging people with questions before I decided what my first gun would be. I went with a 2nd gen H8r and to this day it’s my only gun. It fits my play style, it’s cheap, and it’s easy to work on. No, there’s not a lot of aftermarket support outside of people with 3D printers and an etsy account, but clean long barrel conversions and constant air adapters are easy to pull off these days.

  • @annelee5132
    @annelee5132 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

When you start, get performance over looks. I did that when I started, and I don’t regret it. (Might be a bit more expensive) Some really good pistols to start are:
    Asg po9
    Elite force h8r
    Elite force 1911
Socom gear Oasis (amazing, cheap, but has a super heavy and long trigger pull. I recommend 0.30 weight bbs)
Tokyo Marui mk23 ( also super amazing, but expensive and you have to mod it a little bit to get the performance up. I recommend the maple leaf gbb rifle barrel 220 mm in length, maple leaf 70 degree bucking, skirm shop fang plate and tdc dust cover. Look at clean shot’s mk23 mod video. Use 0.36 to 0.40 weight bbs.)
    Elite force ppq
I have had some of these pistols, and the ones I haven’t owned I’ve used. I definitely recommend a mk23 if you have money and modding knowledge, but the h8r for a budget gun.
Also very important get a mask 1st!! Your mask can totally affect your performance but if you can’t get a mask or gun and you are just renting, get some unfogging spray. This will really help for the most part. After you save up get a dye mask. Even though it is pretty pricy, it is really worth it. After that get a gun, and then gear if you have the money.

This may be a dumb question, but would you ever recommend buying used or pre owned airsoft guns? And where would you go about doing so?

Just bought my first gun, a ASG devil m15 5” compact. Got it second hand only 2 months old for just around 180$ with 9.9v Life battery and balance charger. Damn it shoots hard and nice!
