- Do you really need an SUV? SUVs are the cars of the moment. The combination of decent passenger and luggage space, plus an elevated view, is hard to beat....But maybe a minivan is an even better family solution? Let's take it on the road for the ultimate test to see if the VW T7 Transporter can defeat the Hyundai Santa FE.

"Feel free to touch my premium surfaces"
Jason Potato, you old dog! 🤣
Thank you, finally normal volume.
The Santa Fe is also available as minivan in some markets. It is called Custo, and I think it looks better than the futuristic Staria we get in Europe. But my fav is the 4th gen Kia Carnival
Witam który będzie lepszym wyborem? Bo zamierzam kupić jednego z nich, podobają mi się dwa.pozdrawiam
30 miles electric only range? Bloody useless for here in Australia, my drive way is 17 km (10.5 miles) 50 km (30 miles) to a small township. Pointless having electric cars in Australia the car industry has major work to do
Driving Melbourne to Sydney normally an 7 hr drive (550 miles) would take a fortnight.
I remember thinking the early 2000s Santa Fe was pretty interesting.
Please more Plato
It is a deep disappointment that the T7 Multivan is a better, more accessible and practical Minibus successor than the ID Buzz
Even more disappointing is the T7 is still too expensive and only go as far as a 1.4l TSI PHEV
Executives need more jail time and VW's workers should take the lead
Plug ins are the worst combination and sacrifice between ICE and electric.
We went from a 520d touring to a 530e touring at work and lost a good 200 miles of range and a load of boot space. The mpg is no better but just looks better on the tax sheet. Battery takes ages to charge vs an i4 so is impractical at every step.
SUV's (really crossovers) are now so ubiquitous, they're refered to as cars.,
The VW T7 is clearly miles cheaper than the VW ID Buzz
Now VW is making a hybrid 'bus' ..and the new BUZZ? They look so alike, so why buy the Buzz?????
The same reason why the pushed the NewBeetle so hard.
Brand recognition and extra profits
@@toyotaprius79 Ahhhh for gullible people. Buy the new EV "peoples car" for a mear $100K, or this "peoples car" for.....$40K????
VW are just copying what Renault did in the 1980's with the Espace 🔄
Apart from being an PHEV or EV, it's nothing new and still looks as horrid and the Renault didn't cost an eye watering £53,000.
