CELEBRITY BEYOND CRUISE REVIEW
The new Celebrity Beyond cruise ship is the third vessel in the Edge-Class. In this cruise review, we compare this new vessel to its sister ships. We have sailed on both Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, so we detail what is new on Celebrity Beyond, as well as what is the same between all three ships.
From the start, Celebrity Beyond is bigger and taller than the two previous ships in this class. The extra deck and bigger layout means the outdoor decks have been enhanced. While the Resort Pool maintains much of the same layout, the Rooftop Garden, Retreat, and Sunset Bar on Celebrity Beyond have been enhanced.
Overall, we love these reimagined spaces on Celebrity Beyond. The additional infinity pools at the Rooftop Garden help disperse the crowds. In addition, the Sunset Bar at the aft of the ship offers amazing wake views, with a stylish and sophisticated bar. Coupled with live music, a new drink menu, and plush outdoor seating, it is one of the best spots on the ship.
In this Celebrity Cruises review, we also made sure to test out several of the eateries, bars and lounges, and entertainment to see how it compares to the competition.
DINING ON CELEBRITY BEYOND
During our 7 nights onboard Celebrity Beyond, we dined at many of the specialty restaurants and 2 main dining rooms. We were, and still are, big fans of the Fine Cut Steakhouse. This venue remains one of the best American-style restaurants at sea. Likewise, we enjoyed our meal at the Rooftop Garden Grill. The seared offerings here, including seafood kabobs, chicken wings, and ribs were fantastic. Not to mention, the restaurant's signature brownie dessert is delicious.
The new Le Voyage on Celebrity Beyond was equally tasty. This new restaurant from chef Daniel Boulud is fantastic. We highly recommend you check it out.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed in our two main dining room visits. While the service at Cyprus was fine, as was the lamb shank, overall, the starters, entrees, and desserts did not live up to Celebrity Cruises' standards.
ENTERTAINMENT ON CELEBRITYT BEYOND
We made sure to review Celebrity Beyond' s entertainment too. We saw all three signature productions in the theater. Further, we watched all three productions from the Eden cast.
The award-winning Arte was among our favorites. The ensemble cast of dancers, aerialists, and singers brought famous works of art to life. Also entertaining was Stage Door, which was a typical cruise revue show. This production highlighted the vocal talents of the group. Finally, there was Elements, a stunning show that highlighted the talents of the specialty acts.
The Eden cast delivered a variety of shows in both Eden and the Club. Our favorite of the 3 shows was Paradise. This show was the perfect compliment to the unique space. The Jazz Joint was a speakeasy-inspired show in the Club, which was equally entertaining.
CELEBRITY BEYOND CRUISE REVIEW RECAP
Overall, Celebrity Beyond delivered a fun, engaging, and memorable cruise. With stylish décor, beautiful outdoor spaces, fine dining experiences, lively bars and lounges, and entertaining productions, this ship achieves the goal of providing a relaxed luxury resort experience at sea.
We would highly recommend Celebrity Beyond to those looking for a sophisticated and more inclusive vacation on an elegant and well-appointed ship. In fact, Celebrity Beyond might just be one of our favorite new ships!

Just got off this ship today ( dec 4-11, 2022) Nice new ship. very classy design. Tons of chairs, ship only 75 % filled, nice staff, good food not outstanding dinner choices but good enough. we were on a 25th anniversery cruise they even sent champagne to our dinner table the Normal captain (kate ) just got off for vacation so we a greek names Dimitrius ( true story) he was very funny. We did not take the drink package since we don't have enough to cover the 10-12 drinks a day to make it worth it. Highly recommend the ship plenty to do.

Completely agree about the infinite veranda being a glorified window. We're glad we tried it but we much prefer the traditional balcony.
Sailing on the beyond in April transatlantic, after watching the video, I’m concerned about service. Do you think we’ll see improvements by then? In terms of staff shortages.
This has been the 1st Celebrity Cruise review video I watched! Won't be following anyone other than you now! This was fantastic, you spoke slowly and addressed everything I wanted to know and the video was smooth! LOVED IT! Thank you. We are RC diamond club and just returned from the Symphony and was a bit disappointed so thinking we want to try Celebrity. One question, does the evening entertainment start early than 9/9:30? Thx
Thanks for watching. Yes, there is always an early and late main theater show. Other live music also starts earlier, typically 5 pm or so, depending on the venue.
Cruised on the Beyond in September and going again January 2023. Luminae was amazing; agree that Blu was a mild disappointment from my last Celeb cruise. Food and service were good but not really all that much better than the MDRs. The Boulud restaurant was AMAZING and might be the best meal I’ve ever had at sea, but at $75 was also the most I’ve ever paid for specialty dining. I definitely recommend it … but it’s pricey for sure. Crazy amount of cabin storage and outlets BTW. Thanks for the good review and I really liked this ship! Had a sky suite with balcony last time and will be in Aqua Class with an infinite veranda so that will be interesting …

Never cruised Celeb before but this makes me want to. Were most of the venues, like to Rooftop Garden available to all guests or only those in a certain category?
The only areas exclusively for suites are the Retreat and Luminae restaurant. The Rooftop Garden and all other areas are available to all guests!
Wonderful review. I didn't see any mention of any type of Promenade or shopping on board. These are usually the heartbeat of any ship that has one for casual indoor evenings, people watching, shops on board, etc. Is there no Promenade ??
Glad you enjoyed the review. There is not a traditional promenade on this class, but there are shops on decks 4 and five midship.
We’re taking the ship in June. We are scheduled for 12th floor Concierge. The are 3 of us and I can’t find out if the 3 d bed is that plastic couch that I see on all the sites. Do I have to pull that out each night and sleep on the plastic couch
with which camera did you film, which codec and setting. I find the quality of the images to be perfect.

Why do you think the food quality was down. I heard that the buffet and the main dining room is much better than other similar cruise lines.
Compared to our three other Celebrity cruises on similar ships the food on Beyond was not as good.
So what was the total cost, drinks and everything?
I'm considering Celebrity and trying to decide which Edge class ship. Are all pretty similar or is there one you recommend the most?
Celebrity Beyond all the way. New bars are great and the redesigned atrium and martini bar are great too. You can’t go wrong with any of them but we would recommend Beyond.

Are the plunge pools hot tubs?
The pools by the Rooftop Garden may be heated. I was on Beyond in the UK and water was hot, but I when I was again on Beyond last week in the Caribbean, water was not heated, it was "fresh".
If I wanted a good steak and lobster which restaurant would I want
Hands down the steaks at Fine Cut Steak House are the best at sea. I have not tried the lobster there. The Rooftop Garden grill's steaks are solid as well, if you are looking for a more causal option.
how much was the upcharge of the dining? is there all included specialty dining package? like royal offers

I've been on Edge. Celebrity has great ships but the entertainment is quite boring.
We actually like the entertainment on edge ships. It is certainly better than HAL or Princess. We agree it’s not at the caliber of Royal Caribbean or NCL.
100 % true the food quality at the four inclusive restaurants is terrible very basic for the price Celebrity Beyond charge (2) $4,567 + $700 one drink package and internet $396 for gratuities Is very expensive. The service at the restaurants are ok. We had better experience, food quality and service at NCL Encore.
I would disagree whole heartedly. The food at all 4 restaurants was excellent. We just got back from a 12 day NCL cruise on Joy and everything was lacking, service, food, entertainment. Celebrity outshines on all fronts.
These two are very much the elitist in their review. They concentrate on the add on specialty dining restaurants that you pay for. I can do without what these two are pushing.
