- This is the new MN models MN82S very similar to the MN82 that I reviewed a while back but this time it's even cooler and nicer to look at!
MN models have had some very good RC cars and some terrible ones but the MN82 was awesome considering its price and this new updated version is just as good!
But is it worth the money?

This MN82s was very cool but would you buy one? I have nothing against crawling/Trail trucks but on a personal level they simply dont excite me enough compared to other cars. To continuously review things which feel like a chore doesn't make sense which is why i am making a change in 2025 and reducing the amount of crawlers/trail trucks you will be seeing on the channel. There are plenty of channels which specialise in crawling so it makes no sense to continue pushing myself to create videos of stuff which i dont enjoy. Hope you all understand this :)
i couldnt believe it but i found the plain one for 12 dollars.its fun looking at all the upgrades and thinking what direction i want to go.
To answer your questions, yes, I would buy one of these rigs. WPL and MN models are very easy to work on, and, there are tons of parts for them. Now, with the release of the Hobbywing Fusion Mini-16, these trail trucks could also be light crawlers, and, you can fit RC4WD tires and foams on the stock WPL rims, and probably the MN also, I just haven't tested that myself.
I love your broken record bit, that got a laugh out of me! I appreciate that you aren't even a fan of them, but still feature them to give people ideas. I dont mind seeing less of them, as there are whole channels only dedicated to crawling and trail trucks, but it's nice to see them on one of my favorite channels, beyondRC.

Honestly, I think this is more of a stationary detailed shelf model first and a functional RC model second. It’s great if you’re going to take some photos or do some miniature filming (because that actually is a “Thing” that I just found out that’s has a pretty substantial following and I did not know this) but I would think that this model would fall under that category. Love the video brother. 👍💯🙂

When you get old, like me, you dont want to be running around, turning over a basher all the time. A nice leisurely walk with a trail truck is just what i need!! 😆
A not bad little cheap starter truck for a kid. I know that the metal upgrades on these MN cars does make a difference to the performance, but ill stick to my Carisma Coyotes. 👍🏻
I like bashing as well, never had an itch for crawling. At least nothing really breaks when crawling.

These MN models are appealing to the beginner and have nice looking bodies, but the radio is the warning. The radio on mine (MN99) was the same one they used on the cheap HBX cars and it was woefully under powered. Couldn't even pull it's own weight up a small hill😕

You can build yourself a fully functioning light kit for a couple of dollars instead of buying a full set for significantly more. Just need a 6 pin connector and lights. YEU SANG TAO showed how to do it on his MN82 red.

Hey brother, love your content, I really think that the crawlers would do better with some upgraded grippy tires or I've had to make the ruts in the stock tires deeper so they have better performance, unless you have a little crawler course somewhere near its hard to get into them.
I just find the slow pace a bit boring. Maybe i would like them more on a proper course but not sure haha!
@@beyondRC I respect it honestly they are slow and bashers are much more fun I'll admit. I honestly didn't really care for crawlers until I setup a little course and played.
I got an MN82 for $32 for my 7 year old, which is great for him. The controller went after 5 minutes, they sent me another one.
These are perfect for a 7 year old!

good video mate, dont beat yourself up over not enjoying crawlers, this model looks so good but performance is just not up to modern standards, i have the original red one and its going to be put up for sale its just poor
