United League of Gamers he's been nothing amazing while in the NBA but fat from a disappointment just like you said a solid player who unfortunately got more hype than he could live up to as is the case with a lot of euro players
LOL people forget that Doncic is the youngest player ever to win Euroleague MVP and Finals MVP. He won those in the 2nd best league in the world at 18 years old. People really dont know how difficult that is
It’s chill, kinda like you’re just listening to someone speak off the top of their head as opposed to the loud voiced, bigheaded people typically in sports media.
Not at all. They used b-ball reference. It’s pretty accurate with the exception of the fact that they don’t account for international play. Only nba career.
I think rose and gasol will get in, gasol’s international stuff should be considered, he has a dpoy, 2 all nbas, a ring, and a conference finals. Rose might not be a first ballot guy but he wouldnt be the first guy that only had a few great seasons.
For real klay over pg all day, isnt even a tough question. Imagine if kawahi was paired with the ultimate 3 and d slasher, they'd already be playing the lakers. Klay is already a hall of famer, one of the greatest 3 and D players and top 3, 3 point shooter of all time some people argue the best....
Klay is in moreso because of his team success . PG is in because of his individual accolades. PG - 20 PPG 6x ALL STAR 5x ALL NBA (1 first team) 4x ALL DEFENSIVE (2 first team) 1x STEAL LEADER KT - 19.5 PPG 5x ALL STAR 2x ALL NBA 1x ALL DEFENSIVE
I think narrative relevance and even just memorability swings it for players that are borderline HoF. Two advantages someone like Blake Griffin has over someone with almost identical accolades and stats like LaMarcus Aldridge (6x for Blake vs 7x All-Stars for Aldridge, same All-NBAs, almost identical career stats and efficiency) or why someone like Kyrie will definitely get in even if the rest of his career is meh: 1) Being a major player in the "story" of the mid-2010s Western Conference leading up to the big turning point for a whole era of NBA basketball. The story of how the Spurs, OKC, Warriors, Lob City, Grizzlies and rising Rockets fighting for supremacy and LeBron going back to Cleveland -> the 73-9 Warriors -> historic 2016 Finals and LeBron's legacy boost -> KD joining the Warriors and making them unbeatable for the rest of the 2010s -> shaped the history of almost every relevant team from OKC breaking up to Memphis and Clippers rebuilding into teams that might dominate the 2020s to LeBron leaving for LA, features Blake Griffin and Marc Gasol prominently. And of course Kyrie hit a game-winner responsible for the key turning point of this entire story In comparison, anyone who was relevant at the height of the KD Warriors era is forgotten a lot more easily because at their peak nobody else's story affected the big picture. They were going to win and that was it, the rest was backstory. Someone who might have been incredible the past 4 years and made All-Star teams would still just leave much less impact on history just because of the timing. And I think impact on history should matter for the Hall of Fame too, some people say it should be accolades only and letting narratives factor in is bias but I think the concept of Hall of Fame means storylines matter 2) Highlights and dunks. There are maybe 3 dunks by Blake Griffin more iconic and memorable than many All-NBA selections or Finals runs, that people see more regularly on highlight reels than they see a single highlight of 95% of past players or from many past playoff runs or even a single highlight from many perennial playoff level good teams' entire time together and that people will keep seeing even long after he retires and will remember vividly when its time to cast ballots
Draymonds a lock for HOF, he has 3 rings and a DPOY. Plus hes associated with the warriors dynasty as a integral part and leader on the team. You could use Ben Wallace as an example for why Draymond wont get in since theyve had similiar careers (4 DPOYs, 4 All Star, 1 Ring for Ben vs 1 DPOY, 3 All Star, 3 Rings for Draymond), but I think for the Hall having an association with a dynasty on the Warriors caliber really is the x factor here
Cole Tavascia At his best he was also putting up 7 assists 7 rebounds and wasnt just a "good defender", he was legitimately the best defender in the league. Besides his career isnt over, people talk abt him like he's washed but Draymond has one of the highest basketball IQs in the game. Players like that tend to age well
Funky is the best basketball channel on TH-cam with only real competition being Kenny. Doesn’t use clickbait or misleading titles, gets to the point, fair to any players/coaches, and keeps it moving. The only “complaint” is that his backgrounds are usually dead, but I don’t mind it. Keep doing your thing
@CallMeSpriteLemon stfu a million players had a better rookie season than Lowry, but he's in the HOF race for sure. If you're playing solid now like JB, it's great.
Nick Anderson yeah but he's most definitely a rising star, according to this list mpj who's unproven is, but brown who at 23yrs old just missed the all star game isn’t
Nick Anderson he could easily be averaging 22 or 23 a game on a different team If you think JB doesn’t have the potential to make it then I guess you think Paul Pierce doesn’t deserve to be in the hof
I think Lou will can make the hall of fame cuz of the amount of 6th man awards he has and if the clippers win the championship this year or while he is still with them I think he can make the hall of fame
I gotta say rose has a shot being the youngest mvp ever along with some good playoff performances. If he gets another good playoff run under his belt and a good moment he will make it for sure
Funky I thinking your proxessing it a little too hard, cause it easy to get into hof especially if you got championships with other multiple rewards. Then once it comes to these young players most on an hof trajectory even john collins cause these players gone keep improving and older players retire
CPGoat #3 well ben wallace probably because the malace at the palace or his numbers but most these players on this list have the number numbers , enough rewards , and youth to keep on adding onto their resume. Only players I can see not making it on this list paul milsap , al horford , john wall, and kevin love cause mans fell off hard but he still might make it because 2016 ring.
I201K - athc numbers mean nothing. He has solid enough numbers in blks and rebounds. U mean his scoring numbers( which is irrelevant). He’s on par with the Rodman’s, and Wes unselds of the world. So that’s not it. And he for sure didn’t take that much of a hit for malice. There has been a lot of crazy fights in history and that never stopped anyone from getting in. Fucking Karl Malone impregnated a child and got in, so I’m not buying that. The brawl isnt keeping him out. There’s something else keeping him out.
Gasol will without a shred of a doubt be a HOF'er. The international game counts and he has been stellar on that side of the ledger for a decade with an emphatic exclamation point this past year.
The BBref algorithm only uses NBA stats and accolades so Gasol (and even Luka) are listed a lot lower % than they would be. Gasol's Liga title and MVP, 2 FIBA World Cups, 2 Euro Cups, 3 All-Stars in 2012-2017, a DPOY, All-NBA First Team, being the star of a relevant team in the 2010s West, and a ring with Toronto where he played a key role should put it over the top Interesting that if Siakam keeps this up we might look back on the 2019 Raptors as a team with 4 Hall of Famers
De’arron Fox could be at best - 9 time all star 7 time all nba 7 time all defense Maybe an Mvp but that’s a stretch I could see him winning a ring as the 2nd option with a very good scorer at his sifr
But what’s crazy is that at worst (I’m assuming he stays in SAC 5 more years and then opts out of his rookie extension): 3 time all star 1 time all nba 2 time all defense The kings are so incompetent, theyll never make the playoffs, and coaches give way more respect to guys that make the playoffs consistently. He’ll need to average devin booker numbers to ever get in with SAC. If he plays with a contender after he opts out of his 5th year, he might start winning those awards in his prime but I don’t think he’ll make up that much ground in terms of accomplishments after spending 7-8 years in SAC.
He was arguably the worst on the team if you rate Prince highly, if he had a finals MVP along with all star games and All NBA teams, but only techs don’t qualify a HOFer.
Why would Blake Griffin and Jimmy Butler make the HOF but not Rondo? Rondo has a ring over both of them and prime Rondo make Allstar games with good stats
You’re wrong on rondo bro ; 1 ring , 4 x all star , 1 x third team , 2 x 1st team defence , 2 x 2nd team defence, 3 x assist leader , 1 x steals leader , rookie 2nd team 🤷🏿♂️
He’s right. Rondo is draymond. He’s got a small chance of getting In but he’s not a lock by any means. His career started off great but hes been average or below for the vast majority of his career.
LaMarcus Aldridge SHOULD NOT make the HOF. I think the question we should ask is: is anyone gonna remember him?? And is he worth remembering? And the answer to both is no.
People don’t remember a lot of great players who are in the hall. That is irrelevant to the hall. If he has the accolades he should make it.. what we as fans think means jack shit. He’s in the same boat as Shawn Marion, joe Johnson, etc. above average career, solid numbers, decent accolades but not a lock. He’s a fringe guy.
CPGoat #3 The dude is a 7 time all star and a 5 time all nba team guy. To put this in perspective that is way more than reggie miller who was a 5 time all star and a 3 time all nba player and Reggie is a hall of famer.
Lonzo’s one of the best guards in the league and is going to the hall of fame. In all likelihood he finishes top 5 in assists, rebounds, steals, and possibly blocks. He’s making multiple all star games and is probably winning multiple titles. Severely slept on smh

I hope Collin sexton makes the hof and Darius garland and Kevin Porter jr regardless what team they are on
Don’t think that’s happening.
Donovan Mitchell future hall of famer
Why would Blake Griffin and Jimmy Butler make the HOF but not Rondo? Rondo has a ring over both of them and prime Rondo make Allstar games with good stats
Jokic is definitely making the hof after this season if he doesn't get hurt
Marc's gonna get in just cause of his international success tbh.
Well the d book take by bleacher report didn’t age so well. 🤣
K lowery! It was doubtful a few years ago but Klow is definitely a HOF! Torontos best PG all time! Retired Jersery Caliber!
Knicks just got Tom Thibodeau, so will Mitchell Robinson be in the Hall of Fame? :D
Definitely spoke Lamelo into existence
You’re wrong on rondo bro ;
1 ring , 4 x all star , 1 x third team , 2 x 1st team defence , 2 x 2nd team defence, 3 x assist leader , 1 x steals leader , rookie 2nd team 🤷🏿♂️
and a good chance he gets at least one more ring with bron
He’s right. Rondo is draymond. He’s got a small chance of getting In but he’s not a lock by any means. His career started off great but hes been average or below for the vast majority of his career.
Rondo definitely can get in the HOF with some future Laker rings on his resume
Gotta love how longs he stays on the celtics
Why Zion "for sure"? Blake Griffin was same type of player.
KAT is so underrated he’s a walking bucket and he’s only 24
LaMarcus Aldridge SHOULD NOT make the HOF.
Koh Smoger Reggie Miller had a far better playoff resume and a great college career as well bud. Awards still have to be put into context.
CPGoat #3 Aldridge college resume was great
CPGoat #3 Reggie miller is overrated and so is his playoff resume
Lonzo’s one of the best guards in the league and is going to the hall of fame. In all likelihood he finishes top 5 in assists, rebounds, steals, and possibly blocks. He’s making multiple all star games and is probably winning multiple titles. Severely slept on smh
🤡
Jesus help your soul
Maria Dadivas prove me wrong? You can’t so stfu
Adrian nice face paint. Suits you
The clippers weakness is actually playmaking and ball movement
The hall of fame of basketball is already the hall of very good and fame. It’s kinda weird
they did Jaylen Brown dirty
Draymond might if small ball is continuing into the future
I don’t think Joel will be a Hall of Famer but I could see Horford being in
Everyone makes the basketball HOF
