Because some people didn't pay attention to the lore, the creator themselves said "I thought about it as a child. I thought it would be interesting to combine Wario and Waluigi to create a gap." And "I thought it would be funny to see kids use Wario and Waluigi as minions.🤔"
Also, someone asked "I find it interesting the contrast between this and Wario & Waluigi. Is she supposed to be a little girl or a young adult like Peach?" And the creator replied "I think it's interesting that she's still a child.🤔"

@@quandaledinglejr.136 I don't think Wapeach was made to be Wario's girl personally. First of all, that'd be wrong in many ways. Secondly, since Wario and Waluigi are meant to be exaggerated versions of Mario and Luigi (basically opposites), instead of having a true love like Peach is to Mario, Wario's "true love" is money. Mario is selfless, he likes helping others and saving Peach because he loves her and she is a good friend to him adds to his selfless personality while Wario on the other hand is motivated by money which adds to his greedy, opposite personality. Wapeach is another minion who I assume would be Peach's rival and also command Wario and Waluigi to do her evil bidding. Kind of like a bratty ruler over the two.

The TvC character in question is actually a Tatsunoko character named Doronjo from the popular Time Bokon anime series' Yatterman.
She's normally accompanied by some two loyal goons, one of which served as an inspiration to Waluigi, and apparently that's partly why Miyamoto rejected the design, because he straight up knew Walpeach is a obvious Doronjo reference without even seeing it.
So by that logic… Wario having Wapeach would mean Waluigi has Wadaisy….

I remember seeing someone make a headcanon for a wario-waluigi style peach and Daisy and they looked absolutely awesome!! Seeing the official design honestly is pretty interesting since it still feels like it’s a part of the regular super Mario character style
