I’m glad to see your getting to see all the wild life here in Canada. If I may make a suggestion? On your way to Banff towards the end of your trip to meet up with the misses, you could go through Jasper National Park and then from there go through to Nordagg and then onto Banff. I think you will love the scenery.
2160 is so clear . Appreciate your quality clear content. Please keep the jeep maint videos . That mechanic dude sure can present an educational video.
Awesome video as always Brad. This has been an epic adventure see all these amazing and incredible places through y’all eyes. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s adventures.
The scenery is truly breathtaking. It's clear that two seasoned overlanders have a great skill at choosing routes. Please forgive me for injecting some bad mojo into your comment section, but I have an important message to add. I am serving in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and much of my service is done in the forests of Donbas. These were very beautiful forests, but they have been bombed and burned to a shadow of their former selves. You can't stand in one place and look around you without seeing burnt, splintered, and fallen trees, and large bomb craters. The trails are littered with husks of bombed out vehicles. And you can't stray from the trails because of the danger of mines everywhere. Again, I apologize for interrupting your wonderful video. I just know that a large majority of your viewers are patriots, and I ask that everyone take a moment to think of pray for Ukraine in their continued time of need. Thank you.
Brad that lake was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, just incredible views in all directions. Thank you again for the opportunity to camp with you after OXPNW, you are the real deal both on camera and off. Happy Trails! 👍
Titans class of '91! The Poway sign made me laugh. You and TSTN have put together some stunning content. What an adventure, and the scenery? WOW! And some bighorn sheep! So awesome you got to see them, and a porcupine too? Thank you for your service to our country, thank you for some inspiring content, and have a fantastic 4th of July!
Cool that you ran into Kevin (and Caroline) from @LifestyleOverland (my wife is a patron of that channel). Just discovered your videos and have been enjoying the trip up to the Arctic Circle. Beautiful journey. Thanks for the videos! 👍
Beautiful trip Brad! Thank you for sharing your joy with us. I've been watching for a long time and it is clear that this was a special trip for you and I can totally see why.
You’ve definitely added to my wanting to head to the far north (in a few years, after retirement)! The scenic beauty is amazing, as is the wildlife. One correction I’d like to make: It’ll be a little tough finding an Ansel Adams painting as you mentioned - he was a photographer (and environmentalist), not a painter. 😁 And a damn good one at that! But the images in my mind were brought to life just the same. Thanks so much for sharing!
It was nice meeting you at the PNW expo and thank you so much for the recommendation to hit eastern Oregon. It was truly amazing and we will definitely be heading back there.
Grew up in central and northern B.C. First trip to Dawson City was in 1958 then I worked two years in the area early sixties. Spent a good portion of my life in Northern B.C. When you mentioned how late it stays light I have to tell a little amusing story on the other end of the scale. First time I was in San Diego middle of summer and it got dark so early. I couldn't believe it. Eight o-clock and dark! As a young kid was use to going to bed in daylight during the summer. Relations we were visiting was playing with their kids and thought for sure would be in serious trouble getting home after dark:)
So funny you talked about the Welcome to Yukon sign, as it's top news right now that they are replacing them all. One is indeed going to be moved to the signpost forest in Watson Lake dor posterity.
I've enjoyed following along on your journey! Shawn's videos were neat, but very brief (not much detail) and I really like seeing the full color of the scenery in your videos.
whoa, thinking to make a trip like this near in the future starting at MX , EUU and then CA. Big hurra to TrailRecon for this amazing opportunity to enjoy the beautiful wonders of the world. Be safe brother!
Great shower next to the sign forest at the rec center. Loved the Yukon sign. I stopped at Jade City. There was a fire crew in there. I just loved the trip. Lots of wildlife. I think about it all the time and long to be migratory.
Wow thank you for sharing everything you do. I've been watching you since the beginning and consider you a friend. Everything is so interesting. Please continue sharing what you do!!
One more awesome video. Must be so cool to explore all those gold rush buildings from the 1800s. I enjoyed watching it with two of my favorite you tubers 😉. Happy 4th 🇺🇸🇩🇪
ive been wanting to do this trip ever since they opened the road to tuk. i even built a rig to do it but sold it for an offer i couldn't refuse. currently preparing the next rig!
I could hear your engine going through spurts of high revolutions along a highway that looked fairly flat. Is that engine struggling to pull all that weight? Can’t wait for the Hurricane engine!
Looks like it was a great adventure and thanks for making it available for all of us to experience and dream of doing. How do you think the diesel JL would have done on this voyage?
Master Chief, thank you for the great videos you and your family have and will make. I have to ask, how do you attach the patches to the roof? Thanks. Keep up the great work and thank you for your service. Ken (former Navy)
I just want to add my comment to all those as well. Beautiful content Beautifully captured wonderfully presented So glad you have a telephoto lens. Growing up on Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, will you be staying in the protective cage while Sean wrestles with the bear? lol 😂
“Canadian” Tire …eh !! Not Canada Tire . I did this trip in my Jeep last year , from Southwest Ontario to Tuktoyaktuk , then over to Alaska on Top of the World Highway, then back down to Northern BC . I’m back exploring Northern BC right now , pretty awesome!! Cheers , Wild Bill Jeep overlanding the Canadian North !!
Great trip! Enjoying your narrative of the experience. For those of us that might want to make the same trip, will you do a sort lessons learned/how to prep video?
Hi Brad, long time viewer enjoy everything you post! Our kids live in Watson Lake (SIL is rcmp up there) wife & I planning our own rd trip up there next May. What is the name of that beautiful lake you guys camped at 15 min mark? Stunning location!
No dehydrated food, but I brought a few cans of soup. We had our fridges pretty well stocked. A long range tank would be a great option, but my custom exhaust doesn't allow for the tank fitment.
Wait, at 13.57 there's you two sitting having your meal, so who's the big dark shape sitting on the branch behind Shawn's truck ?. Can you add sasquatch to your list of wildlife sightings 😮
Hey Brad..long time viewer here. I am not sure if you have been asked or not, but did you have any reservations about bears while you were camping in remote parts? I am planning to do a similar adventure and my only anxiety is about sleeping in a RTT. I know I will have plenty bear spray in the tent. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
Brad, are you carrying your side arm in Canada? I'm looking at making that trip up there and just wondering about protection from the grizzlies. Thanks Brother and be safe.
Hand guns are restricted in Canada you are not allowed to bring them in to the country. If you get caught at the border, it will be seized and not returned, and you can be denied entry. Certain Long guns are permitted, but you need to make a prior application and have all the proper documentation. Bear spray and mace may also be considered illegal as well so best to check prior to travel.

I really enjoyed spending time in Canada and I did make the drive from Jasper to Banff.... breathtaking!
Another captivating video, Brad you have inspired me to start planning my trip to the Arctic Circle next year
Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I doubt I’ll ever have the opportunity to venture out like this, so I get to participate vicariously.
Wow! This is what every good camper dreams of. Congratulations.
at the 5:54 mark, the sign read in green (city sign) "Welcome to Southgate, CA" I lived there, LOL

Your Day-9 morning at that lake shore was stunning Brad! What beautiful images.
Awesome video as always Brad. This has been an epic adventure see all these amazing and incredible places through y’all eyes. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s adventures.
I’m loving following along reliving my son and I’s journey from Alaska. Dawson City Museum was awesome.

That 3.6 and trailer combo sounds like Jeep needs that TT HURRICANE in a bad way!

Incredible scenery. So much history up there that most people won't see because of how remote it is.

That was a great video Brad, thanks for sharing.

Great video and series! FYI Ansel Adams was a photographer not painter 😉.
Loving your adventure! Brought back memories of our trip through Dawson City and the Yukon in 2010!
Wow!! To see AdventyresofAplusK's sign, and then Kevin ... small world. Thanks for the trip, I can't wait to see what is next.
Another great vid and beautiful views. You hit the nail on the head when you said "I love this planet". So awesome
So funny you talked about the Welcome to Yukon sign, as it's top news right now that they are replacing them all.

You missed the sour toe cocktail! Best Dawson City tradition.
Thanks for taking us on this adventure with you
We watched a few folks do it, not for me!
Great shower next to the sign forest at the rec center. Loved the Yukon sign. I stopped at Jade City. There was a fire crew in there. I just loved the trip. Lots of wildlife. I think about it all the time and long to be migratory.

Heck ya man, we need another Bucket Trip!
My bucket list trips is going coast to coast, one on I80, the other on Highway 20. The other is to meet you and go offroading sometime.
Water almost looks like Lake Tahoe !!
That lake was incredible
Awesome video. I laughed at the Canada tire! Canadian tire, a place where us Canadians spend many hours.
My dream is being in the Sierra Mountains!!!! I'm doing it watching your videos !!!!! But yes I would love to have a jeep exploring.....
One more awesome video. Must be so cool to explore all those gold rush buildings from the 1800s. I enjoyed watching it with two of my favorite you tubers 😉. Happy 4th 🇺🇸🇩🇪
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sign post is worth the stop. Got a couple stickers in there from my motorcycle channel, Pete’s Moto adventures. Yukon was my favorite area.
I drove my 1973 FJ40 to Anchorage. Try fishing for Northern Pike near Watson Lake. I caught a lot of grayling. Look good but not tasty
I had a 1971 FJ 40. What kind of mpg did you get?
ive been wanting to do this trip ever since they opened the road to tuk. i even built a rig to do it but sold it for an offer i couldn't refuse. currently preparing the next rig!

Hi Brad, long time viewer enjoy everything you post! Our kids live in Watson Lake (SIL is rcmp up there) wife & I planning our own rd trip up there next May. What is the name of that beautiful lake you guys camped at 15 min mark? Stunning location!
Batavia, pronounced "Bat", long "A", "Via" Batāvia. It's about an hour due west of Chicago, IL.
Beautiful Mud ball we live in.
Magnificent.
Did you bring any dehydrated food as back up? Have you thought about an extend fuel tank mounted under the bed of the truck?
No dehydrated food, but I brought a few cans of soup. We had our fridges pretty well stocked. A long range tank would be a great option, but my custom exhaust doesn't allow for the tank fitment.

Top notch video
How do you like the Gladiator? I’m thinking about getting one. Currently own a 2012 JKU.
I follow you & Lifestyle overland and wondered if u 2 would run into each other. It is a small world
