Give her a fucking Emmy and a Golden Globe for Christ's sake. She's probably the greatest actress on television in the last decade. She has the most memorable and dynamic performance of anyone in the cast. Her (and Nikolaj too!) really deserve to be remembered as such, and awarded for it.

Nobody ever mentions that she played Queen Gorgo in 300. I know it's not the biggest role ever but you gotta admit she did very well AND that was a time when Gerard Butler was really on a mission. For her to play his lover i thought was genius. Even her performance as Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was overlooked

Fun Fact: the pilot episode of "Game Of Thrones" that made it to broadcast on HBO (and is now in the DVD sets) was like 85% re-shot. The original is apparently so god awful D&D say they will always do their best to make sure it's never seen by anyone. Now in comparison to something like BBC's "Sherlock", it was similar in that the original pilot version wasn't very good at all, though in all fairness at the time they thought they'd be making six different 60 minute episodes for the season, instead of three different 90 minute episodes, so it required pretty much a totally different approach. But even with how 'not great' that original Sherlock pilot was, you can still watch the whole thing as a season 1 DVD extra.
Well, we did get couple of things out: 1. Cersei being the night queen theory is not true. 2. Cersei is not in the ending scene (as she says they didn't tell her that, that means she was not involved in the shooting of any)
