Hey, thanks for putting these vids together. Can I ask what happened to the S65 E30 build?

Thanks. The funds for the s65 swap e30 have been redirected. The normal car build stuff but should start back on it about March next year. But… I did just get another e30 for a s65 dropped off a few weeks ago that I’ll be starting and posting up the build soon. Waiting on parts to come in for the engine. This one will have a DCT tranny.

@@tekmotorsports4052 Gotcha. Look forward to seeing that build. BTW, what headers can fit the e30 bay and clear the steering rack? Heard you can make S62 stock headers work on the S65 but those flow well.

@@getdealtwithquickNeeded to massage the header to clear the steering shaft and also replaced oem shaft with a Condor Speed steering shaft. The headers I’ve kept from the s65 and yes, s62 headers will work. The fourth tub runner will hit the firewall if it’s not addressed. The next swap the headers will be cut and the tubes shorten as losing a little power is not a big deal.

Hey man, hope you're doing great. So I ended up buying a '89 325is in December and can't let go of the dream to get thus car BAR'd here in Cali with an S65 for street use only. Do you think this motor - with a dry sump - can be made to fit the E30 with the stock intake under a modified hood, with stock headers and cats to achieve this? Assuming CARB are going to be super anal about inspection the stock emissions bits to make sure they're unmodified, this is really a deciding factor for me. Retaining power brakes and AC are key for me too. Thx
