It's definitely my favorite thing I've heard of hers in years, I love her older stuff like 'Cruel', etc, She should definitely stick with self producing, but find someone else to master it... I produce music, and I also struggle with mastering, and often see a large waveform filling the display, and it's still quieter than other pop tunes. If I turn it up, it clips and distorts. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I've watched countless videos. I suspect she's going through the same thing. The ad came on and I had to turn my stereo back down!!

What I love most about St. Vincent is the fact that EVERY music video makes you feel uneasy or uncomfortable in some way (cruel, cheerleader, slow disco, birth in reverse, and so forth). I hope Annie never lose this iconic visual identity.

It's Cian Riordan on the third drum.

Every note or look is so intentional and PULLS you in. The entire album is amazing but I cannot *stop* listening to this song. It gets better every time. She is just so underappreciated 🖤💖🎶💖🖤 Instead of just ego stroking like most super advanced technical players and blatantly showing off her phenom guitar skills... or her absolutely lovely voice... even that impeccable stage presence... she just uses them all oooh soooo casually in amazing songcraft/videos. ☺️💖💕
