The side of your hair that falls is probably because you have a slight side part so there is less hair on that side, therefore less volume and when it falls it is more apparent - try curling that side more than the other initially rather than touching it up when it falls. I love seeing your budget spreadsheets! Is business pay from TH-cam and sponsors? And if there is left over from business funds, does it go to a separate business account?
@@athenaa yes correct, it's the distribution I pay myself from my company (which is social media). This is not the total amount that I'm making a month from social media this is just what I choose to pay myself. Since I have a registered business, all of my payments (Adsense & brand deals) flow through a business account (not my personal accounts). From here I put money aside for corporate taxes, pay my business bills, pay off my business credit card and then decide if I want take a distribution. I don't have to take a distribution since I'm not salaried through my business, just if I want to. So what I pay myself from the business is more so the leftovers. Hope this makes sense!
When doing your budgeting, how do you separate your personal spending from your joint spending? For example: the amount for your mortgage is that your individual contribution amount? What about for groceries? Do you have a joint budget amount? Does my question make sense? 🤣
The amounts that I budget off are solely my spending since my husband and I have separate finances. So this is my half of the mortgage, utilities and those are the bills that we split! We just take turns paying for any sort of variable expense- sometimes I buy groceries, sometimes he does. I'll pay for take out one week he'll pay the next. Hi Carter, I would recommend you watch with an open mind Brett Cooper's video here on TH-cam of why she voted for Donald Trump. While I do not like him as a person, I know he will help get America back on its feet.
@@elizabethmiller5924 thanks for sharing this! I've actually already watched her video and it was an interesting watch- I've done plenty of research into both parties policies since both parties will impact Canada and our economy tremendously. Like anything it's important to see both sides and educate yourself. I think there were plenty of qualified Republican candidates who could have run that have basic decency for human lives and could have handled a peaceful transition of power. I personally just do not agree with the majority of his policies for America and as a Canadian sadly most of his policies will make our economy worse with tariffs. But yes I do think you have to be able to go into researching both sides with an open mind and hearing out what others have to say. At the end of the day I just hope everyone who voted made an educated vote and actually took the time to research policies. For example, the biggest misconception is that Trump will improve the economy but the US is currently facing a shitty economy because of the aftermath of Trump. The reason Trump's economy was good was because Obama had set it up and also a global pandemic. I mean I learned about basic economics in high school. So I just hope people took the time to educate themselves before saying I voted for ___ because of ____.
Love you love your videos but it is strange that a Canadian is upset about their neighbor country having their democracy actually work. The internet only sees the polar extremes. We the (average working & lower class) people voted for this and I don’t think the us as a whole wants your pitty
I really don't think Americans realize how much our economy depends on the United States so it's actually not strange that we are upset about this.... 🫣 Over 75% of our exports go to the US and with tariffs being mentioned by Trump and his party, it can really mess with our economy as well. I just don't think people think about how big of a role the US politics plays in the rest of the world 😅 I can go on and on about the impact that US politics have on Canada. I'm not upset about democracy working lol- the people voted for him but I just can't wrap my head around how a convicted felon and r*pist is allowed to run for president that's all. I think healthy democracy is REALLY important and of course there's gonna be different political parties that different people agree with and that's totally fine- I'm not against the Republican Party, I'm just against Donald Trump. But it'll be interesting to see how his presidency affects the middle class because ultimately he can't just snap his fingers and change the economy like a lot of people think he can. And as someone who took basic economics, he's not going to change the economy because it's a lot bigger scale than just him. The president does not dictate the economy and we're all struggling worldwide w/ inflation.... so we are allowed to feel for your country. As an empath, I feel for everyone who is not gonna benefit from his presidency, LGBTQ, immigrants, women etc. Once again, not against the Republican Party but there's a difference between having a fit leader of a political party and Trump .... 😭
@ if that’s the concern how does trumps first 4 years compare to Bidens 4 in the Canadian economy? Because here we have been struggling and fighting since Bidens term started. Also I have no hate in my heart I love when I can have reasonable conversations with someone I disagree with
@@kierstinrishel7768 economic policies take at LEAST 2 years to show effect- this should be taught in school, this is basic economics. So the way the economy works is that it's not an immediate overnight thing- the reason that Biden's economy was so bad was actually because of Trump if you look into the research done on this... and just basic economics. The reason that people think Trump's economy was better because there was a global pandemic going on and people were dying and not really leaving the house and also Obama had set up for a good economy . Also remember that economies are worldwide and not just national issues so the issue of Ukraine/Russia played a BIG part in why the economy went downhill worldwide. Just like many politicians a lot of people just talk to talk (both sides included) and I really don't think he's gonna magically be able to change the economy like people think. It's really important to do scholarly research when it comes to voting, especially with large plans like the economy. So research has shown that the US started seeing a recession in early 2019 (before COVID) due in part to Trump's tariffs and trade war strategies and because economy are not an overnight thing this snowballed into Biden's presidency. Also immigrants and deportation play a huge role into economics so if he actually does follow through with the nasty deportation, he says he's going to - housing cost are just gonna go up and so will produce prices. If you follow through on the tariff that he says he's going to implement the cost of everything is gonna go up for you guys. There will be higher goods on basic consumer items (think your every day Amazon purchases) and the only people that may benefit from higher wages will be after these deportations happen in the trade field.
Please remember that you can't just ask someone to curate their channel and their life for your preferences. I encourage you to choose kindness as this is more than just politics for many worldwide and in the U.S.
While I do understand this (and it's why I kept the mention of it very brief) I also think it's important for ME to use my platform to share support on issues that are important to me. Did you know the majority of people on Instagram replying to my story about how the election affects Canada & the world's economy had NO idea? So by sharing and advocating on my platforms I was able to give perspective on how major this is and I think that's a win. If you follow me you would know I am extremely passionate about women's rights. This US election had major implications on not only women but the middle class citizens, LGBTQ community, immigrants and so many more. So yes I will keep the politics talk at a minimum on TH-cam because long-form content is an escape for many people right now but if it makes you uncomfortable that I even bring it up this may not be the channel for you and that's ok💙
Everything content creators do is political, including suggesting which companies you should support with recs. Just because someone mentions an election doesn’t mean their content is more or less political than it usually is.
I've always chatted about the books I'm reading in the vlogs for the last few years. I may go through periods of time where I chat about it abit more but the book content has always been here! At the end of the day this is a lifestyle channel and reading is a big part of my life. I try to keep the book segments in chunks so the people who don't read can skip over but it's a big part of my life, always has been and always will be🤍 I know it may not be for everyone but as someone who vlogs her everyday life, books are a big part of that!
And your thoughts are valid! I've been yapping about books for years in the vlogs, its been a huge part of my channel. and I get that not everyone is a reader but I always want to show up authentically on here and share all aspects of my life, which include reading! I try to keep the book chats in segments so the non-readers can fast forward but I get that it won't be for everyone 🤍

@ I’m not be critical as I said I do enjoy your vlogs but yeah maybe it’s because I’m not a reader.
