Now, for a female - unless you have phys.custody of children and have a police report-- (often more than 2 needed *with hospital documents showing/or "proving" signs of phys abuse OR damage of property report from police (ex: partner damaged your vehicle)... - without kids in tow or ++ what is listed ...No you're considered far far less..·· I speak from my own experiene further, do you think a woman always can make a phone call on her behalf?!?! It's a real possibility that a woman's partner ,keep3 her phone and moniters her conversations.. the level of control is unprecedented and abused ,even by the charitable. Every male ive known from years back ...had a place to go to sleep at night..(many or most male shelters ,do make you leave for the day -to look for work -go to Dept of Labor etc.. so say 7PM to 7AM open dorm is a norm) .A woman without a child or 4 in tow , well- the #s are now maybe 1:5 shelters.. It's basically concluded (without admitting so) that you have family that will help, a man will be along to 'save' you, *that you're a "working girl"- therefore prob a theif and just have an agenda.. or are only there for a brief period for whatever reason and that you have no goals etc. (nevermind their/our safety of course!) I for one.. am trying at a women's shelter I stayed at briefly.. ( they gave me 31 days to find work-a bus pass and safe warm.shelter + kids running amok w mom's 🚬 and falling asleep outside).. I was at my 25th day in and in a week, id have my next check to have enough to move into a tiny studio!!!🙌 - OH too bad!you gotta leave..your bed has a waiting list. It's winter.i have no vehicle...so until then I somehow made it sleeping next to train depots, anywhere w/light and coverage.. but I remember and I don't want that for another

According to this couple he is not working because of a sex offence on a 14yo and she provide him with over $840 worth of drugs per week so he is completely dependent on her. I 'd refrain from calling this love unless I knew them on a personal level for a long period of time.

This is the sweetest thing ever! There really are good people left in the world. No one really and truly can understand addiction unless they have been their themselves. I have been clean almost 9 years and I will always be an addict and it is still a struggle everyday!

This is sooooo sweet. It touches my heart to see how kind complete strangers can be so loving and generous. Thank you, Chosen Won, for helping these people. So many times they aren't treated like human beings. The majority of the homeless/addicts are victims of horrendous crimes and struggle just to live day to day. Simple tasks, that can seem like nothing to the average person can be truly overwhelming for them to handle. I'm crying as I write this because I struggle with very similar circumstances but I'm just grateful for the the beauty and kindness I'm seeing right now. Thank you for being you. 😱Omg I am so delirious happy for her .. this really made my day ..she was like a kid in a candy store with all those packages. Former homeless person/youth shelter worker here, anyone wondering what sort of practical things they can send street folks: things like toilettries (deoderant, small camping toothbrush kits, pads/tampons, small flash lights (like the key chain sized LED ones), hand sanitizer (esp now with covid), small sewing kits, compact first aid supplies, socks/underwear, water container and carabiners (to attach to backpacks -- its so much easier to fill water up on the go rather than finding/paying for bottled water), light raincoats (or disposable rain ponchos), summer sleeping bags are fairly compact also and good for this time of the year. Thats all I can really think off the top of my head right now, but basically just think urban camping supplies, ...they really do come in handy and are very much appreciated!
I feel that she will he ready to go home soon. You can tell that her cleanliness and just every day basic needs such as shoes she is use to a different lifestyle. She’s just broken and a good rehab would hopefully turn her life around. ❤️she’s so grateful.

A couple of times I was approached my addicts. They asked for money because they were hungry. I went to a fast food drive through and bought them something to eat and gave it to them. Depending on what they are asking for go and get it or buy it for them. Never give them money unless they have a payee or living in a group home that handles and distribute their money.
Do not know who you are but what a ministry to help people. For the people who give ,we need more people like you. To help those people who want to change.
Aww, this video makes me so sad. I've worked in the addiction field for the past 10 years addiction breaks my heart. So many people look at these people like outcasts but if you really take the time to get know them you'll realize they're really no different than you or me. My clients used to live in the abandos in Paterson, NJ. 😥

My son and I are going to be sending some stuff as I think it’s good for him to involved with giving and caring and Also learning about the real world and how if your not carful life can slip out of your own hands. I mean he is 9 so of course I try to teach with in reason. It’s important to me and to make sure he is aware. I am so happy to see that you are going out and reaching out to these beautiful people!!! It’s a nice act but she’s been on drugs since 15 & giving gifts and money isn’t gone help her overcome this lifetime struggle you give gifts to those who battle something uncontrollable (cancer, sickle cell, lupus patients) she needs rehab and counseling this is controllable and changeable 💯

To a point you're correct. BUT, I think it's also good just to let her know that someone out there actually cares about her. A little support up front may get her moving in the right direction.
It actually does help !! When u are in active addiction u feel like no one cares ... This is actually amazing and I'm glad they send gifts and money .. They are gonna get high regardless if u give money or not at least it makes them feel a little better about themselves. Trust me I know ,I have year clean but I was on heroin and crack for 8years. Its not easy at all ... I'm gonna see if I can sent anything to these people also its great act of kindness.
People don't say this enough and are quick to judge. That being said I want to say thank you for helping these people, it really means the world to know someone cares when you're down and out. Keep up the good work. Not every addict is the same people, stop throwing labels around ,to the people being negative.

Simple tasks, that can seem like nothing to the average person can be truly overwhelming for them to handle. I'm crying as I write this because I struggle with very similar circumstances but I'm just grateful for the the beauty and kindness I'm seeing right now. Thank you for being you. Thank you for looking over these people who are struggling. You delivering supplies, whether you bought it yourself or not, shows your huge heart. Thank you guys for being awesome. I'm always so afraid to expose my addiction . But you guys are so kind. It's nice. I'm just so glad you guys cared enough to send her gifts. My stories similar to Jana's. A boyfriend, perks, you know the deal. Hard to stop. I know you guys have given her hope that there are good people out there. Sometimes that's what it takes.

Former homeless person/youth shelter worker here, anyone wondering what sort of practical things they can send street folks: things like toilettries (deoderant, small camping toothbrush kits, pads/tampons, small flash lights (like the key chain sized LED ones), hand sanitizer (esp now with covid), small sewing kits, compact first aid supplies, socks/underwear, water container and carabiners (to attach to backpacks -- its so much easier to fill water up on the go rather than finding/paying for bottled water), light raincoats (or disposable rain ponchos), summer sleeping bags are fairly compact also and good for this time of the year. Thats all I can really think off the top of my head right now, but basically just think urban camping supplies, ...they really do come in handy and are very much appreciated!

A couple of times I was approached my addicts. They asked for money because they were hungry. I went to a fast food drive through and bought them something to eat and gave it to them. Depending on what they are asking for go and get it or buy it for them. Never give them money unless they have a payee or living in a group home that handles and distribute their money.
Do not know who you are but what a ministry to help people. For the people who give ,we need more people like you. To help those people who want to change.
Aww, this video makes me so sad. I've worked in the addiction field for the past 10 years addiction breaks my heart. So many people look at these people like outcasts but if you really take the time to get know them you'll realize they're really no different than you or me.

My son and I are going to be sending some stuff as I think it’s good for him to involved with giving and caring and Also learning about the real world and how if your not carful life can slip out of your own hands. I mean he is 9 so of course I try to teach with in reason. It’s important to me and to make sure he is aware. I am so happy to see that you are going out and reaching out to these beautiful people!!! It’s a nice act but she’s been on drugs since 15 & giving gifts and money isn’t gone help her overcome this lifetime struggle you give gifts to those who battle something uncontrollable (cancer, sickle cell, lupus patients) she needs rehab and counseling this is controllable and changeable 💯
@TRINITY TRINIDAD Crack head stand out side of stores and sell their gift cards they get from family on holidays. They sell them half price then go get drugs.
It's easy for people who've never had an addiction to judge. We don't know what someone is going thru until we walk in their shoes
To a point you're correct. BUT, I think it's also good just to let her know that someone out there actually cares about her. A little support up front may get her moving in the right direction.
It actually does help !! When u are in active addiction u feel like no one cares ... This is actually amazing and I'm glad they send gifts and money .. They are gonna get high regardless if u give money or not at least it makes them feel a little better about themselves. Trust me I know ,I have year clean but I was on heroin and crack for 8years. Its not easy at all ... I'm gonna see if I can sent anything to these people also its great act of kindness.

People don't say this enough and are quick to judge. That being said I want to say thank you for helping these people, it really means the world to know someone cares when you're down and out.
