- I will say as a community we had different things planned for this week but, as we all know things don't always go to plan.
we are now doing it next week so i will include it in a later vlog for you.
there was more than one day when i wasn't home which is not a very common thing for me but, sometimes it is that way.

I’m writing this in November, so I don’t know if you’ll see it, but I notice that you were reading The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. The hotel that the story is based on, here in Seattle, is still operating. It’s the Panama Hptel, and ther’s a tearoom as you enter. When people of Japanese descent were interned during World War II, the owner of the hotel told them they could bring belongings to store at the hotel, and he would keep them until the people returned. Now there is a heavy glass section in the floor of the tearoom, through which you can look down into the basement where everything was stored. To this day, 80 years later, you can see trunks, boxes, and furniture, still waiting for the people who left them so long ago. Thank you for your vlogs! I enjoy them every day!
I literally laughed out loud when Kona snuck (sneaked?) up on you on your walk. 😅 In one of your previous videos (talking about cleaning/mopping) you showed the Hertel multi purpose cleaner you use. My laminate floors are awful, the people who owned the house before us, did something to them and the shiny finish was removed. I've tried every cleaner to make them look good. I got a jug of the Hertel cleaner at Canadian Tire, and wow, my floors look so nice and clean and don't have a weird residue on them any more. So thank you for the tip! As always, I greatly enjoy your vlogs, and especially Kona!
i will be honest i didn't know that the cleaner was capable of that but, it is definitely my favourite to use and i'm so glad that it worked for you 🙂

Kona takes her responsibility to protect you very seriously. Her loyalty and love is such a gift. I think you look very nice in glasses! I will have to try some of those. Your drawings are also really good. I've tried many times to draw simple pictures but always end up with something no one can tell what it is. Oh well, I was made to do other things I guess. I thought I was a perfectionist when I clean, looks like I was just doing it the right way. Love your videos, my great grandparents were directly from Germany and I love to see and hear all you do. I feel like the German hutterites are as close as I can get to my heritage. If I'm wrong on that I don't want to be right. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I agree with the cleaning!! It drives me crazy when people walk back and forth. I was taught to go left to right in a circle with the dusting,wiping things down. And to back your way out of the room when sweeping and mopping.

You have a talent for drawing. I used to draw until life got so busy with work and kids. I now use my journaling time to add little drawings. They usually refer to a Bible passage I’ve just studied. It brings my Bible study to a deeper level, I’ve found. God bless your community.
I work from home and am on my computer all day. I was getting headaches and dry eyes. Blue light glasses saved me. They made such a difference and I can't work without them any more. I recommend them to everyone. Glad they helped you too!

When I was growing up, we had a vacation cabin in the mountains and I loved being there, especially in the winter. I would take walks with my beloved German Shepherd and friends and family. I miss those simpler times so much. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these vlogs, Giselle! They brighten up my day ❤️

Like an exhale. I feel that way too. I am so thankful we have a place to live. It's an apartment with a European/Jungle theme because we have so many plants. We share our home with the Lord, our little pooch Prinny, a cat named Cupcake. And a Crawdad named Crawdyanne. Shes a girl we found out when we found her with a clutch of eggs. It’s Saturday night and waiting for your amazing vlogs. Feel asleep, woke up there it was. How excited I was. Now sitting and watching. I also took art for year 12. I did painting. Theses days I don’t do much painting. I have to say you are an amazing artist. Also after seeing your Bible verse at the end, l picked up my Bible and tried to learn what Exodus 14:14 means, what I understand from the verse is Moses has come in to his own as a leader, bravely stating what God has promised all along. Moses is full of faith when it would be so easy to be afraid. Thanks for another wonderful, uplifting and amazing vlog. Your vlogs always uplift me and help me start the work week in an amazing and happy way.
that is a beautiful passage having so much faith when being afraid is easy. i wish i had more talent when it comes to painting but, i guess that is where practise comes in and i must say it has been even longer since i have painted.

My husband spends a great deal of time on the computer doing research, he is a town historian. He recently bought his first pair of glasses with the blue tint and finds them extremely beneficial. Thank you for sharing that Psalm. My favorite is Psalm 121 which I read every morning with my prayers. Have a great week Giselle.

I loved Kona’s joy at finding you. German Shepherds have a great sense of fun and goofiness. I only know Bible verse and it is the one you posted at the end of your video, it alleviates much worry when we adopt it. Your art is very good!
It is lovely to hear the scrunch of the snow under your boots, but I am more than pleased that it rarely gets that cold here in England. We have only had a few snow flakes so far this year. You must have a very short growing season.
I do love your enthusiasm, and your laughter and your love of baking. My daughter loves baking. Your vlogging skills are excellent. Do not give up on your drawing, I was not good at school but took it up in my 20s. It is such a great hobby.

For the German kids books, there's a way you can find some on Amazon. Look at Herr Antrim's Amazon marketplace thing on his channel. He has lots of books from curriculum to reading of all levels of German. I hope this helps! God bless you and your colony ❤
