Just a tip: for more satisfying results, make sure the structure is extremely far away from the blast zone. So that way you won't have your structure flying at very high speeds, but you don't want it so far away that it barely falls over

Yes. I put a huy on the farthest left of hybrid in an entirely concrete bunker. I then detonated a fusion bomb on tge farthest right point of the map, and he was fine.
