Visiting CHURCHILL DOWNS 🐎 ( The end of the Kentucky Derby??!) & Louisville Slugger Museum ⚾

We're wrapping up our Kentucky travels with another day in Louisville! First we take a tour of Churchill Downs and learn all about the Kentucky Derby. 🐎
Next we visit another iconic staple of Louisville...the Louisville Slugger Museum. Here we take a tour of the factory and learn all about how the bats are made and the history of how the term "Louisville Slugger" came to be. We're not huge baseball fans but found this museum definitely worth a stop. ⚾️
And then per usual we haven't eaten all day, so we check out a cute "underground" pub in downtown Louisville and eat an iconic Kentucky food. Can you guess what it is? It's the Kentucky Hot Brown! A sandwich made famous at the Brown Hotel located only a few miles away.
After stuffing our faces we head back to our Airbnb for the night because sadly we're leaving Kentucky behind and moving on to somewhere new! But not before we give y'all a quick tour of the tiny house we've been staying in and take a beautiful waterfront walk with Riley. 🌉

Aww, that's so sad to hear about the horses. Hopefully they get it figured out. Too bad they didn't have complimentary Juleps for you guys. The troll pub looked fun, and the turkey sandwich looked tasty. Very quaint Airbnb.

It's very sad 😢 we didn't know much about horse racing but it seems there's a lot of risk to the horses. Complementary juleps would have been a great idea!
We absolutely loved the troll restaurant! It was a fun experience and we definitely recommend it! And our Airbnb was perfect! We loved it so much. We really enjoy tiny houses. Thanks for watching!
