Nice to see those bass back out in the marsh. I was thinking the high salinity this year had run them out or killed them. Love those little drains you were pulling them out of. Good job buddy!!
Thanks a lot!! Love that kind of weather… even light rain didn’t get in the way. Hoping to do more of the same soon. Hope you have some more good days ahead as well!
I really enjoyed this as this is the area I like to fish. Shell beach/Hopedale. Can you tell me what ugly stick casting rod your using with the baitcaster? Size and power rating. Thks. Keep the vids coming
Thanks a lot for watching and for the comment. Love that area as well. Ugly Stik GX2 rod - 6’ Medium. Anything more than that is way too heavy. This is a sturdy Ugly Stik but still light enough for good feel and a great, sensitive tip. The reel is a Lew’s Speed Spool low profile - 7.5-1 ratio. I also have an 8.3-1 ratio (might be better for these reds). Both are great. Rod about $50 and reel $100. Both GREAT value. I buy online from Bass Pro. Good luck ahead and more videos to come. Cheers!

Dang Mark! You found the Bass. Love to see it. Overcast days like that can be magic. Incredible trip.
