    Mr Hantai, along with Mr Leonhardt and Mrs Verlet, is a name to be celebrated in the art of playing the harpsichord!

    Mr. Hantaï, you are definitely the greatest Scarlatti performer I have ever heard. Thank you so much. Hope we can see you in a concert again in the Netherlands some day.

    Wow; Bravo maestro. There's no doubt that Pierre has re-written the Scarlatti handbook. We have complete sets on harpsichord and the pianists of course. My favourite other is Pinnock's small but tasty output. Pierre's electrifying recordings and performances take Scarlatti to a whole other level though. This takes me to the Spanish court as it should. Let's spare a thought for the genius composer/performer of Scarlatti too.

    I'm obsessed with your Scarlatti recordings and now you have these live set performances? Fantastic! You breathe so much life into how you play Scarlatti. You've helped me understand his music so much better and clearer. You really know how to bring out the Spanish character in Scarlatti's music and it's electrifying! You really get it and I am so grateful for your playing.

      I think that set is a re-release of the six individual cd's released on Mirare. Make sure you're not duplicating. Unfortunately, the availability of those discs has become sporadic and some only available second hand. If you don't have them all that set is a must for the price. Like all sets it may not contain the excellent notes with the individual releases.

    Honestly, youtube is the only media where I can express myself without being aggressed: the sound of a harpsichord makes me crazy, never understood why people made an effort to reconstruct those horrible things except the “archeological” pleasure of ancient engineering 🤔

    • @miguelalonsoperez5609

      @@guidomagnano6297 ehem, I was talking about the sound of harpsichord as an instrument, not about Scarlatti which is beloved composer to me, or about Pierre Hantaï who is a tremendous interpreter.
      Justin Bieber… well is not even a musician, just a marketing byproduct

    • @guidomagnano6297
