The girl pissed me off to no end, like what the actual fuck was she thinking. Yea I get it, in love, stupid, desperate but god damn, that is some... dedication I guess.
A lot of people run into a bug where Ethel's fight doesnt trigger properly in Creepy Grandma's Murder Basement. She's invisible on the bridge to the right of the switch for the cage when you're looking from the switch to the cage. If you set the ground on fire underneath her or cast some similar aoe it should hit her and unbug her to commence the fight--that or just make her tangible enough to deftly murder and consider the plotline. No idea what causes the bug, but just from a gut sense from what I've seen between players who got the bug and players who didn't, it seems as if loading saves between visiting her house and getting to the boss fight could be the trigger. Haven't bothered testing it though, it's just the couple people I saw who didnt get a glitch don't save ever and did the whole quest in a straight shot.
Old lady: *disappears suddenly in a cloud of smoke*
Astarion: This is normal, yes?
Dude!!!! You can nock them out you don't have to kill them!! It's the only way to have the good ending.

at least in my playthrough... i found them dead in the swamp later on. is there another (good) ending for the brothers?

This beard isn't available for Dwarfs, and I protest!
