I can confirm Eco hair gel is really good. My fav is the purple. Layer the gel on and scrunch it as it dries. It doesn't flake or sry out. My hair is nowhere near as coily as Chucky. I’m currently growing my hair out. I use a caffeinated shampoo along with taking collagen protein (it’s not just for my hair but it helps) and up my food protein. Your hair is made of protein, upping your protein is first. Caffeine is also good for hair as it can stimulate the hair follicles.

I have two daughters (8 and 4). Same dad too. My oldest has the thickest straightest blonde hair. My youngest is fine and super curly blonde hair. I’m a brunette/red so my husband’s blonde genes are strong lol. The fights between those two drove me crazy. They are jealous of each others hair. I just tell them this is your life. As a woman when it’s long you want it short. When it’s short you want it long. When it’s straight you want it curly and when it’s curly you want it straight. You are never happy with your hair lol.
My hair grows like a weed and is extremely silky and shiny IF i straighten it but it's SO flat/fine at the roots. If I dont straighten it, it is straight in some spots and wavy in others and SOOO puffy. I finally found a hair dresser who understands my hair type and said "you have very particular hair, its fine but you have alot of it and the ends need to be thinned A LOT and your layers need to be disconnected and semi chunky or else they just disappear." I have curls like urs. What kinda gel was that? I was using a Mousse for like 20 years. It was discontinued idk. I can't find another strong enough to hold my ringlets. Gel usually gets flacky.
