The most helpful tutorial, yet hardest to find. Thanks schmoogle for the time wasted... but thank you Don for the explainer video that Twinkly SHOULD have done for its consumers.
Yes, as long as they are all the same type. Generation 2, RGB, or RGB+W. I have 11 different sets on the front of my house that form a group. I now have RGB on the bushes. So the house is synced up and looks awsome. I then have 3 sets that make up the tree and they are in a separate group. The only problem being I can’t add the tree to the house group so all 2500 lights are in sync. You can’t create a large group with groups. So I just set both groups to the same pattern and have the timer turn them on. Seems ok. th-cam.com/video/muUwOJXcz5Q/w-d-xo.html
@@donblake329 Thank You. I’m getting my first sets of Twinkly today. Bought two 400 string lights for my 7 foot columns. Hope that’s not too much. Starting off slow. Eventually may want to wrap my Royal Palms and put some Twinkly icicles on my roof line.

Thanks for dimming my living room.
Did they update the app so you can add more lights in the group
@@swe3t23 no, if you want to add more lights you have to start over
So if I understand this correctly. You map each individual set, then group them together?
