This seems ridiculous that THAT MANY LEDS went dead within a year. If they're seriously that unreliable, I'd just buy a new LED strip and replace the entire strip. SuperBrightLEDS sells almost every kind of strip light available. Get a 16' strip and split it into 4 pieces, you just need a backing strip to mount it to to slide it into (unless these can be removed from their backing)
just lost two today after 11 months. watched one flicker then die. the other my wife noticed above my 3d printer. gonna email them and see what they think. part of me wanted to order another 6pk and swap as they fail. got my 3 rooms worth on amazon. I have a bad feeling I have multiple groups out. passthrough works still.
Beautiful! The Deer running through the yard is Perfect timing 🎄
I like the 3 trees did you build them and put twinkly lights on them?
@@swe3t23 yes that’s what I did. They are made out cedar fence pickets
The most helpful tutorial, yet hardest to find. Thanks schmoogle for the time wasted... but thank you Don for the explainer video that Twinkly SHOULD have done for its consumers.
Did they update the app so you can add more lights in the group
@@swe3t23 no, if you want to add more lights you have to start over
Do you know how many lights you used for that tree?
@@racmoo99 two 600 sets and one 250 set
Looks great, get the twinkly C-9 lights for the roof outlines.
@@dwaynewood1795 I have Twinkly icicles on the roof line
@donblake329 looks awesome Twinkly is the best way to go!!
It looks fantastic. You’ve inspired me but now I know I’ll need thousands of lights.
@@pebbleschan6085 thanks, you have to catch the lights when they are on sale. It took me a few seasons to get them all
In the land of OZ, it seems that Twinkly haven’t sent any down for this Christmas. ☹️
Keep your day job
$24 bucks at our home depot for 2
already own one and need a dado plate for said saw .
If you email them they should
Good job on the repair! I almost got there, but didn't have the idea to solder over the dead LED's Figured Leaving them open would be better as it wouldn't re-create the diode resistance, but of course that didn't work. I will try this next time, Maybe I can get Barrina to replace my dead cells as well, as I've had 4 of 12 go dead on me since installing about 6 months ago.
Did you map each element in the software, or the entire thing? If you did each element, I suppose you used the "sync" function, or the area function? It really looks great!
I have a video on my channel on how I did it if you want to look it up
WOW, can you share which string lights you used to decorate the front tree? And how you attached to electricity ? I'm trying to do same but haven’t bought lights yet cause I’m unable to imagine the cabling setup that will allow me to light my tree. I would really appreciate any instructions. Thanks
I’m using Twinkly Lights. Two 600 RGB Light sets
Love it. Actively doing mine now. What are the lights that are straight lines around your door and windows
All the lights are Twinkly
I’m gonna attempt this tomorrow.
Amazing lights. What a gift to your town
Looks awesome!
Looks good! Really like the tree.
Did you use the Twinkly dots for these tree shapes? Also I love your work mate, you are one of the first videos I watched before buying my first set. This year we have 3 sets. Lol
No just regular string lights. Drilled a hole for each light
Blade looks round not square. Amateur!
I would like to hang a garland on the facade, but the rosette is only on one side. if the garland consists of two parts and the power cord is in the middle between those two parts, it won't work for me? I need the power cord to be at the end of the garland, not in the middle.
I bought one in January and it is fairly quiet and starts on the 1st pull!
❤❤❤🎉
Gotta do a better job with these videos
I'm sorry, sir, but the sound effects and music are so LOUD compared to your voice. I made it halfway, but I can't take the sudden explosions of deafening sound after turning it up to hear you.
Looked great I especially love the wreaths!
How did you get more rhan one sets to connect to the music control? Please help he out thanks
I used the mapping feature, if you look through my videos you will find a video I made on it

🎄👍🧑🎄
How sad another season of lights is coming to an end
Nice! What about this year?
I have added a bunch of videos from this year, almost 5000 lights
💪🤟 Twinkly PRO ??
no just regular programing and mapping the lights
Great Job 🤟💪
So pretty! And I love how they did that little Christmas tree in the front
The lights look nice with the snow
Looks great. Did you use clusters of strings on the front tree?
No two 600 light sets
How do you coordinated all the strands of lights together to flow like that ?

Good beater blades @2 for $30 lol 😅 doesn’t compare w/ any high end blade though. Check out: FS tool Sm6300 ..then thank me later 😊
How did you make those trees ? 🙂 Nice setup 👍
Beautiful
Excellent .....what kind of twinkly is that on the garage?
it is two sets of rgb+w 250 light sets that i bought on accident. that's why they are back there. And a set of rgb icicles
@@donblake329 everything looks great
Cool installation of lights
That was amazing thanks for sharing your experience and idea
That 80 tooth blade is nice, i like the lazer guide on the saw
Just needs a nice blanket of snow to go with it, lol. Looks good
This is amazing! Love the " entirety " of the look and how it goes across everything. Awesome job!
That looks AWESOME!! You did a great job!
Thanks for dimming my living room.
